In the making: Qatar Airways’ historic first A350 XWB jetliner

- Follow the initial Airbus A350-900 aircraft for global launch customer Qatar Airways through the manufacturing process - from delivery of components to the final assembly line in Toulouse, France to its maiden flight in autumn 2014. The video also highlights the “Xtra” that makes the difference for this Airbus next-generation widebody jetliner - including its spacious and comfortable cabin, use of advanced composite materials along with the aircraft’s highly-efficient and quiet Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines.

I flew on one of these Qatar A350-900’s and I really enjoyed it. The food service was amazing, and it was very quiet, and overall, I think this is airbus’s best plane yet.
I hope to fly with the Qatar A350 soon. I can't wait for it!

I love this airplane, this is the closest to a futristic spaceship. When I see the A350 I can't stop thinking about the future.

Yo, I’ve been watching this since 2014 so, so many times lol. I even drew a picture of this A350 several times when I was little back then. It really is an awesome video, and the aircraft is marvellous.

Edward Lin The A350 is mostly a competitor to the B787 though the longest version, the A350-1000 has about the same passenger capacity as the current B777-300ER. The B777-9X however will carry 50 or so more people.
VeniVidiAjax Bombardier and Embraer are nothing compared to Airbus a Boeing. So only 2 companies matter and if you want to mention Comac, friend you are very late in aviation knowledge.

qatat airways is one of the good airline in the world.
Having recently flown with Qatar and whilst I agree service and food is excellent the leg room is rather inadequate. I would choose Premium economy for that reason alone

When's the A380neo coming out?
Joaquin Pinto Airbus said they have no plans to launch an A380neo project in the near future.
They should, I think it's what many airlines would want.
Joaquin Pinto Well the A320 and A330 have been around for a while so it makes sense that the design should be updated to be more efficient. The A380 is still relatively new so it's not really at the point where a neo model is necessary yet.

Fanboyers should just watch the videos from their favorite companies and not what they hate so that there is peace. Jansel Kenneth Tolentino I always watch both companies. In the past I used to love the Boeing 787 dreamliner but this plane is the latest, don't worry I'm also waiting for the Airbus a320neo and the Boeing 737max. However, this plane is now on trend.
If ever they make a330 neo I will be happy but what I meant is that some people who hate airbus watches then comments but at least you like both. Very Good

I believe all Airlines in the operating the Airbus A330-300 should replace the Airbus A330 with the Airbus A350-900 XWB.
The A330 NEO or the 787 would be a better replacement
