  • we're diving into the 7 steps on how to heal your gut! if you struggle with candida overgrowth, bloating, or digestion issues, this one's for you! 🤗 | thank you Viome for sponsoring this video! use code: Cambria110 to get $110 off your Gut Intelligence Test here: tryviome.com/Cambriajoy
One of the best things I've ever done for my health! heal my gut began by knowing what's going on in there. this test has been SO eye-opening for me.
    TIMESTAMPS
0:10 Digestion is a parasympathetic activity - the most important thing of all
0:48 1️⃣ Damage Control - stop eating foods you're sensitive to (doesn't mean forever!)
7:34 At home gut test for targeted answers
11:45 2️⃣ Soothe - heal & soothe gut inflammation with mucosal
13:28 3️⃣ Bind - bind onto toxins that are released in the gut from bacteria/viruses/fungus so they stop causing inflammation
15:57 4️⃣ Kill - kill pathogens with lauric acid - a derivative of coconut oil that is anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral. monolaurin breaks down the structure of the virus without wiping out good bacteria.
17:15 My candida overgrowth story (& before and after following these exact tips)
18:45 5️⃣ Seal - seal up leaky gut with l-glutamine
19:53 6️⃣ Bring Back the Good Bacteria with targeted probiotics
20:58 7️⃣ Feed the good bacteria with fiber from roots & fruits

I have literally watched this video multiple times, just to keep digesting the information. I am currently healing from parasitic infection and needing to deal with the bacteria(candida/other). I have learned so much and have had the best digestion system I have had in over a decade! Thank you for sharing this information with us. ♥

    Notes:
    1. Damage control: assess what is irritating your gut. Examples: gluten can be very difficult to digest (try sourdough). Eat organic wheat because of glyphosate sprayed on wheat. Improperly prepared beans (soak them first). Cruciferous vegetables (leafy greens) that are raw; cook them well. Dairy can be irritating to some people as well; try raw milk.
    2. Soothe: alove vera and marshmallow root.
    3. Bind: bind onto toxins with charcoal. Systemic enzymes.

For my iherb fans I found a great snack/dessert: get the nuco coconut wraps, put peanut butter and natural fruit spread (I get the blueberry one) for like a pb&j vibe, but the secret ingredient in the dessert wrap is to add rice chex cereal (or any cereal really). Then wrap it up and enjoy! Sooo good! The recipe was inspired from the back of the nuco wraps packaging.

Cambria!! I’ve been a viewer for years & this video has been so so informative and helpful! A year ago I started struggling with severe joint pain, abdominal pain, and feeling like I would get a fever everyday. It literally felt like I had the flu for 6 months. I went to the dr’s a bunch but they weren’t super helpful so I did some research and have been cutting back on gluten. I’m 98% all of my symptoms were gluten-related but am following up with a rheumatologist for an possible autoimmune issues. This was super informative for me as a consumer just to be more aware of why gluten may have all of sudden wrecked my body and it’s likely because of the damage it’s been doing to my digestive tract. Thankful for these videos!

This was so informative! Thank you so much for this.
So many times I see doctors not able to find the root cause of what you’re feeling (myself included ) because they’re so quick to push pharmaceuticals when an issue arises. I have always preferred the holistic approach to things so going to the NP or doctor for an issue has been out of the picture for a while as nothing goes anywhere with them. I had stated that I have felt unwell and it has been seen by others around me, yet everything with the tests came back “normal” with my vitamins.
I have felt so under the weather and just a general sense of unwell for a solid year, I thought it was mainly due to alcohol, so I cut that out. Needless to say my stomach is DAMAGED from the overuse of alcohol for a year of my life ( not partying but at least 3 a night some days or more when social) , not to mention I have always struggled to push myself out of my comfort zone when it comes to food because I’ve always had adverse reactions to certain things, but this is literally because I have not taken care of my stomach or eaten the right things for at least 5 years due to mental health and bad relationships/trauma from childhood. This has caused me to find comfort in the sweets and comfort in controlling what I am eating as I’ve never had control of anything happening around me.
I have never been overweight, but I also have never eaten properly and sugar has always had a grasp on my diet.
I am learning this is definitely something I need to work on for the sake of being well and healthy. I want to live a long a fulfilling life, and not have to worry about if I am going to have not optimal health.
I also have been researching how glucose levels impact the way you function and feel, and how most of us are on a glucose rollercoaster. This has been my issue for so long, seeing it now from outside of myself has made me realize how much of an issue it actually is.
This new year is a new leaf, where self care is top priority, for the sake of my own future and success..
Thank you again. For all the knowledge ❤️

This video is so informative and I just found your account and I’m loving it and going to get your books ! Do you have an Amazon or link tree loving everything ur posting but wish I had a place to find it all in one spot or save to my LTK so when I’m ready to purchase I can? Also wondering what if any of these items are breast feeding safe. I know about a lot of this process and items but have never heard someone with a good story explain it all so clear, also paid a ton to see a naturopath and kinda had the same experience

    • @kellymuss
      @kellymuss 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

Okay I found your links! Any thoughts on what would be a breastfeeding safe protocol to heal candida and gut? I understand you are not giving medical advice I just really have no where to go the naturopath I have seen is so expensive and I don’t feel like I got a ton out of it . And I feel like your video here is so clear! I live in a small town with not a lot of other options for naturopaths . I am cutting gluten, dairy is so hard to cut and nuts bc that’s what I use to keep my protien levels high and lower my on the edge ac1. I am adding coco oil when I can and lmnt everyday more mag at night and cut out putting spinach in my smoothies, would love to add in a supplement but not sure what’s safe? Seems aloe may be needed to skip and the l glut. I went through gestational diabetes and now trying to cut out cashews ( which I make my own milk) and peanut butter and cheese and yogurt which helped my protien during that time now to cut out for candida I feel so overwhelmed and stressed about what I can and can’t eat. Thoughts on adding the mono supplement?

I have a couple of questions about the test.
    1. Will it it give you specific recommendations for what to do based on your results?
    2. Is there a better time to take it? For example, will the results be “skewed” if you had a week of eating more junk or if you ate really clean?
    3. What does the test actually entail?

    • @theGLITTERbit
      @theGLITTERbit 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

I took this test. It just says, bad or good under these topics, and gives you tons of foods to eat but doesnt make the association of what to add in or reduce to help the specific thing. my doctors are holistic doctors and still couldnt help me understand because it doesnt give any answers other than bad or good under the topics.

I read that the gluten issue was due to the change of wheat used, one that is more resilient to disease and a higher yielding wheat but has a higher amount of gluten in. That’s why gluten intolerance was hardly heard of years ago.

Question: Did you do all these steps at once or is this in phases? Like are you taking binders and killing and sealing all at once while also taking probiotics or is this a step by step thing? Please help, I’ve been trying to heal my gut for almost 3 years 😢.

Thank you so much for this video! Me and my 3 month old are both dealing with some yeast issues (my feet and his neck & diaper rash). This video has come at the right time! Do you happen to know if these suggestions in your video are okay when you’re breastfeeding? Love your videos so much Cambria!

Oh man! That’s so challenging I can’t give medical advice so I would definitely talk with your doctor or work with a practitioner, like Kale Diagnostics to get individualized help with this area! I really do wish I could help more!! I’m so glad you love them 🥹 I wish there was more I could do! Especially because you’re breastfeeding doing a gut protocol definitely has to be done with caution. 🤍

Everything mentioned in this video! The monolaurin is really important for killing the yeast, and then the Sacc. Boullardii probiotics and the bifido strains of probiotics linked in the description taken with every single meal is important as well. Homogenized dairy can flare up yeast overgrowth too you just have to pay attention to what foods flare you up! I hope this helps check the description box for those exact links to everything! ❤️

You can get calcium from other sources like broccoli, seeds, sardines, almonds, leafy greens, beans... not just dairy!
