I’ve been using the Burston Incarnon ALOT recently, I’ve even rolled a riven for it which gives the incarnon mode a whopping 10.4x critical damage multiplier. Although I did have to give up Hunter Munitions because it doesn’t fit anywhere in my current build.
As soon as I saw this incarnon in the circuit, I knew I had to get it... I mean I haven't, cause I don't have any good steel path weapons, but I'll get it someday
Basically, since I have a Riven that gives me over 200% CC, +3 punch through, and has negative impact, I can use the armoured build, and put it instead of Point Strike.
In my testing the gun doesn't need red crits it needs slash procs from crits. All that crit and not taking advantage of hunter munitions. Red crits don't mean more damage. I just replaced Galv scope with hunter munitions. But both builds perform the same for fast missions. Bleeds are going to scale way further.
Alternatively for the non armored version you could put on the arbiters of hexis mod for the burston prime and use that instead of Primed Shred, it gives 80% fire rate instead of the 55 you get from primed shred
I don't know if DE intended this, but to my knowledge, hitscan aoe weapon with its aoe damage instance does not benefit from Multishot. Do you have a video for your lavos mate? I love your content but I want to find a reason to play lavos too xD I am not sure how to build him for steelpath and what I'm supposed to rotate with abilities.
Phenmor still does more damage, because the 5th evolution basically acts as all your crit mods, with 45% crit chance and 21x crit multiplier, leaving you with mod slots you can use to add more elemental damage, faction damage etc. To my knowledge it also gets much more out of galvanized aptitude, and has the utterly broken interaction with Xata's whisper.
Having Arcane avenger (proc with combat discipline) could free a mod slot? Or is it preferred to have the critical mods and pared then with other more "useful" warframe arcanes? Also! Great vid! ❤
Arcane Avenger would give an effecive 90% modded crit chance boost in Incarnon mode which wouldn't even replace Point Strike. For an Arcane you may be better served with Arcane Acceleration. No damage on self to proc it, buffs fire rate, and even opens up slotting in Critical Delay over Point Strike for a net gain to both fire rate and critical chance.
No hunter munition? Odd build, HM should still work with the incarnon form. Went with HM instead of Hellfire and instead of 2 60/60, I went 1 Malignant and Primed Cryo. I guess that fits my build better on top of Galvanized Scope and Bladed rounds.

Slap on an extra 60% fire rate or something around there in Incarnon, something to the point where it almost feels like a laser from the constant stream of bullets, and it could have really been something special again. It also feels like such a shame to not lean into the Burston's evocative name and just turn it into a full auto machine gun.
