From what I can tell the very thing meant to balance it breaks it(the averaging of the status effects) as an average of one stack is that stack now to find weapons to optimize this. A heat based secondary with a mele designed to hit big toxin or electric as slash is covered with the buff?
I was wondering why Fangs of Raksh just nuked an entire group of people sometimes, but it was so inconsistent I though my game glitched. It’s crazy that it does so much, I thought it was just gas damage being really strong
gas damage isn't that strong nor has it ever really been strong even when it dealt toxin years ago it was still pretty overrated lol that said I can say her 2 is inconsistent and it only covers a short range which combats the room bombing nonsense that the crybabies of reddit now hate for some unknown reason
Voruna just needs for her 2 and 4 to count as melee kills for her 1 and 3. DE made her 4 count now, but her 2 still needs that change so that she can actually sustain her 3 against squishier enemies.
I think a 175% efficiency (rank 4 fleeting and streamline) build will do for now to get around the 2 to let DE count it as a melee hit in the future. (Probably, haven't tried it myself, but a 12.5 energy per cast surely will make the spam 2 route better by a huge margin)
@@sunfeatherX3 personally I've been replacing her 4 and using her as a melee platform. Her 1 setting crit and status to 100 makes for some interesting melee builds.
TLDR- the 5 stacks spread from "Fangs of Rash" only works once per enemy, so hit multiple weak mobs then kill, don't use it twice on the same one ... Something I didn't hear mentioned is that if you use fangs on a target multiple times you'll only spread the first 5 stacks, BUT if you hit multiple enemies, say 2 enemies, then kill both- the surrounding enemies will take all the stacks from both and all will have over 5 stacks. So if you hit some extra fodder enemies in rapid succession, then kill the 3rd you can get a pretty nasty chain reaction. Just try it out in the simulacrum.
Helminthing over her 4 with Breach Surge does silly damage when paired with her 2. Also Archon Stretch can proc off her 2 which makes it useful for some extra energy regen.
I will say the death-saving passive is nice in Archon Hunts, just because of how much of a pain it is to go down when you're off chasing vales in smaller groups. Niche, but the number of times Amar's flame wheel has snagged me zoning into the fight for a cheep death in the knockdown has made it at least worth keeping in mind in a panic.
honestly i found her more effective as a shield gate frame that uses augur mods to replenish her shield than pure health. you literally spam her abilities all the time which in turn always keeps her shields up. it's pretty alright on steel path.
Voruna feels like one of those Warframes who's going to get a small update somewhere down the line that improves QoL so much that we wonder how we lived without it. Right now she's weirdly janky.
If they made Voruna's 4th ability count as a melee attack, and strip armor when it hits an enemy with 5 status i would use it, but as it stands right now iv subsumed it for terrify. i know that giving her an armor strip kinda sounds op...but an unmodded grendel can strip 100% armor in a 5-15m radius by turning into a ball and jumping twice.
I just realized. While I saw the crit stats on 4 to be a bit of a bandaid. It is clever in how it synergizes with 1. Not enough to truly save it, but clever
maybe the idea is to use fangs of rekesh, and then a heavy attack with ya meele which would also explain why her signature melle weapon pulls enemys in, so more enemys are in range for the death aoe spread from her 2
@@danteyr1 Try out Relentless Combination, her 100% slash chance makes your combo counter skyrocket as soon as you touch a crowd. Or you can build combo normally and then use her 3rd passive to maintain your combo during heavy slams.

3:08 I've made good use of her cheat death passive. Granted, yes, you don't want to just sit on it. But if you know you're about to go down and if you have time, it's an excellent "pull this out of your pocket" ability. I imagine it's excellent for Archon Hunts.
As a melee enthusiast, I have loved playing with Voruna, although I'm saving the standing to get the energy conversion mod (I'm doing fine in SP Conjunction survival, until an acolyte or thrax spwns, then it's insta-death). If I could change anything, I'd make it so that ability kills (from her 4, and 2 in lower level missions)work to extend the duration of her three. And make the aim of her two more lenient (target obstructed? No it's not, I see it!)
This is gonna get mad interesting when I use the Hirudo. Every attack giving me heals with a high status chance. the only real bummer is the lack of damage that I can only hope the other abilities can keep in check.
Fun fact. If 2 people in a squad both use combat discipline then everyone loses the ability to lose health on kill. Functionally turning off the reason we actual use it.
I don't remember the name of the Arcane but there was one that increased your Max Health with every health orb picked up (up to X times) which means that it can outscale Vitality and open up another mod-slot for more Strength for example
I've so far really enjoyed Voruna. This video was very helpful as well! Some interactions I wasn't aware of for sure (Like the arcane avenger and combat discipline was a new one for me). I mainly use Voruna as a max range frame (with 280%, I think I can get higher with one of the archon mods but they give like 5%). Power strength as the secondary focus. Her 2 with this and condition overload becomes insane. Everything melts like butter, and if they don't then you use your 1 to follow up even harder. I've been replacing her 4 with terror (grineer) and breach surge (anything else) to really make those numbers pop. I've been budget shield gating with augur mods on my secondary + blind rage. In place of brief respite, I use growing power since her 1 lets her instantly status proc. If you're using it frequently, or have any form of status chance, you're essentially permanently buffing the crit damage on her 1. Pair her with the one undying companion and you have a way to infinitely pick up health orbs too. She's so much fun, I've seen so many different builds on her with various reasonings. I feel like when a frame can succeed in a wide spectrum of builds, they are a smashing success. Tanky? She can. Melee? She can. Caster? She can (when not grineer). Speed? Amazing.
I'm a tad surprised you didn't consider using _[Arcane Blessing]_ as an arcane, for that sweet _[+1200 health capacity],_ due to the fact that Voruna can build it up relatively quickly. If you're getting extra _[+1350 armour from Health Conversion],_ the _[+1200 from Arcane Blessing]_ would be really nice, and allow for further modding wiggle room through the removal of Vitality. In my case, I went for _[Arcane Blessing + Arcane Strike]_ to get extra mod wiggle room on my melee, although I've also used _[Molt Augmented: +60% Ability Strength]_ to beef up the crit damage modifier from Voruna's 1.
Better to use augmented yeah , blessing is nice but it’s ok at best on Voruna too niche I have a tanky HC build but prefer invis build focusing on the CD makes her 4 kit like a fucking truck if you set it up right shah

It'll work. The trick as ever is finding the enemy with the mark before it expires and becomes a fake mark - especially if you rely on the set for your armor.
I was imagining the AOE spread from her 2 would hit and kill the mark target (which would then cause another AOE nuke), so don't have to find the mark target.
For the high range build, I feel like slotting Blind Rage over Primed Continuity is a better choice. For positives, you more than triple your ability strength, which heavily boosts your slash procs from melee attacks. As far as negatives go, you really only care about ability duration for her 3, which will get lots of extra duration from kills anyways. If it runs out, just recast it, no problem. Energy efficiency means nothing to Voruna as well.
honestly I can confirm that you can fit both Blind Rage and Primed Continuity on her with the right build but it's down to the player at the end of the day
I always noticed that sometimes, using Fangs and Ulfrun in tandem, I'd suddenly do millions upon millions of damage, but after the Fangs bit I understand why now. A Year on and this guide still helps.
Think beyond the obvious of making her 4 count as a melee, the one buff I would want for Voruna is to make her 2 count as 10 instances rather than 1 for archon mods
as you were saying if the 4 isisnt the focus of the build subsuming fireblast would strip enemies of any armor they had left at 175% power strength so that would do wonders with unairu strip if its using 2 and dynar for weapon enhancement
Also needs an animation when active where she runs on all fours. I love how it functions and the idle animation, but the lack of being able to bound around and stalk like a wolf is sorely disappointing.
just something I noticed about Ulfrun's descent since it is refundable you can use it with shield gating cancel it and don't need anything more than brief respite. It has its own problems since you are still spending time casting and cancelling the ability instead of doing damage but it and be a nice way to get into shield gating for anyone who is new to it.
You can use the Arcane Blessing and get it shockingly quickly maxed out too, oddly, you didn't mention pull could be used on place of Ulfrun's Descent. A great amassing ability along with the Coil and Larva. I personally use the Pull.
Hold on, so considering all of this, Lavos got massively power crept, right? His passive is conditional on picking up energy orbs. Voruna can have permanent immunity for no conditions, other than not being able to use another passive. Applying and spreading status effects. Voruna can apply slash procs and spread them around, while Lavos can only apply elemental statuses, and has no way of spreading them. The only advantage I see for Lavos would be his long range for abilities, while Voruna is melee and close combat focused. Am I missing something? Or has Lavos become "we got Voruna at home"?
I use Voruna when I want to play braindead whithout using any Weapons at all. Using a build without Ulfrun's Descent kinda defeats the purpose of her design. Max Efficiency, with Good Range and Strength, tanking Duration. Press 1, 2, 4 and gg.
I run Rejuvination, all three Gladiator mods for Warframes, Flow, Primed Continuity, Health Conversion, Adaptation, Constitution, and Arcanes Reaper & Blessing. Make sure your melee has Melee Fortification, and armor caps out at 2500 (presuming my math is correct), and this is steel path ready with no forma required. If I add forma to the mix; I'd replace the aura to swap in Steel Charge, replace Constitution with stretch as I'd be adding three crimson archon shards for duration.
from a developer standpoint for me, i would have programmed her 2 to spread at a divided amount of 26 and some change so that all the status effects can attach to the target and gives that 1-2second window for other enemies to get in range so it can then spread to new targets when paired with her 4. make her 4 stronger by mulipliers rather than just power str. so the focus would be more on duration and range for her than power str.

A bit off topic, about Arcane Avenger, I think they reworked it to proc from not only health damage, but from taking any damage at all, be it shield or health.
Going with the MECHA build on a kurbrow while running voruna is satisfying to watch it nuke a room I also run Masters summons replacing my 4th so you can just insta res it when it goes down
Running Master on 4 sounds like a good idea tbh, I might steal that since my Kubrow has a weird mangetic field around his head that causes him to go down every 10 seconds with full tank build lmao
I installed warframe just because I got an ad that showed the bundle Voruna came with, safe to say I am out of mind and have no clue what to do with this information on builds considering im completely new to waframe
Interesting builds, going to try this out! I would make one suggestion though, as for the weapon of choice for creating your nuke, sporthrix has the greatest status chance, combined with massive DPS, personally I'd reap that benefit over a high Crit weapon like Rubicon.
She feels like an specialist generalist, like, what you normally think is volt helping with tank, atk, def, and buffs. But voruna is more of a general of specialist, like if you put lavos, kullervo, harrow and citrine. Of course not as effective as each of them but having even a fraction of each is very helpful
I left the game for a while and completely forget about health conversation. Now pair with gloom(replacing 4), she's not dying anytime soon. I was struggling to get her standing for a while ,so thanks a lot for the info. Also since her 3's passive give heavy attack efficiency, comboing her 1->2 into a 12X heavy attack can cause some gross overkill.
tbh I got rid of her 4 for Gloom and only ever really use the status immunity passive because I find all the other passives useless and so that I can eliminate adaptation for health conversion since her 3 drops loads of health orbs and paired with her 2 and a panzer vulpaphyla I never run out of energy and gain a load of armor along with life steal and slowing of enemies that said I believe everything was intended with this frame and don't feel as though anything needs to be changed aside from her 4 having a condition overload effect to go with her and count towards her 3 for kills and maybe better options for passives on her 1,3,and 4 as I personally find them 100% useless but other than that I say she serves her purpose as a melee frame and they shouldn't change that
Ah, that's what I assumed as well, either subsume 3 or 4 depending on weapon or skill damage build :) Good video nonetheless. The tooltips are insane by just reading them: 100% buffs or increasing to 100% or immunities or indefinitely longlasting buffs are totally overpowered in my opinion, seeing the numbers in play increase into the millions is just wow. I've played Voruna a few times now with an Ulfron build that's not even optimized like yours and no additional strength and she is still fit for high level. I play frames mainly as casters and only switch to weapons as needed, that's why I knew I had to keep her fourth ability, but it's just a shame that even though she can keep up her 3, she doesn't benefit at all from it (at least right now). For energy management I picked maximum efficiency and Zenurik, although Sahasa Kubrows (I believe it's them) can help, too, even if they provide energy a bit slowly when Voruna blitzes through the missions :D Moas with snaring mines or Nautilus are cool, maybe even Mag's pull or Nidus' larvae to stack enemies for nice status spread :D I think I need to test her more for an optimal build. Optimal as in all around usefulness :D
He talks about a new build at 24:54.... This is what I've been running since I got her, So. Remove Lycath's hunt replace with Vauban's tesla balls, put Archon Stretch on. Archon stretch will activate with Vaubans ability even while invis giving you constant energy regen as long as you keep it running.
Not 100% sure I'm right on this, but I THINK that there's another very niche oddity with Varuna's second ability, namely that if you kill the enemy with the initial hit of 250 slash damage, then the status conditions aren't applied before the mob dies and so won't trigger either the spread effect or the buff duration increase of her 3. Noticed this while running low level excavation missions. It's not gonna matter most of the time, but I thought it was interesting.
So with how the buff from her 1st works would it be possible to build her melee weapons for base and elemental damage as well as more quality of life mods while it picks up the slack with the status and crit, then combining it with her 3rd passive for heavy attack efficiency and say warcry or roar over her 4th? Like...would this work?? Edit: Could you double stack with marked for death or the mecha set???
From what I've seen and tested, the Mech set does work with her 2 allowing for suuuuuper nutty status AoE, not sure if it’s a bug or not (would be sad if it was since it justifies me running my space doggo) but I haven’t tested MfD
I think you can deactivate her 4 before using up all the charges to regain energy, could that open up some more freedom in building around it ? Also, does the slash from her 4 work with the nuke tech on her 2 ?
While deactivating her 4 refunds the energy, its her later attacks that are the most potent. As for the nuke tech, it can work just like any slash proc if the 2 hits slash.
I run Voruna with 0 survival and max range + duration, leaving str at 40%. And I don't have issues in SP +1h survivals, I just find a good place to spawn kill enemies, just pop invisible, fang an enemy and heavy slam with Praedeos and repeat ad nauseam. The constant procs, shield gating from abilities + invulnerable from Fangs' leap is more than enough to stay alive, and thankfully, Primed Flow gives enough energy to not have to worry about my Panzer's revive time. However I find the spread of her dots extremely inconsistent, as in obstacles between the enemies stopping the dots from spreading.
Reminds me of the Sith Sorcerer Lighrning build in SWTOR. Pure destruction if you get the rotation right, but easy to miss a proc and throw the whole rotation
The fangs of raksh would literally clear an entire ship of it's crew and probably spread like a virus to the entire planet you might be orbiting depending on range
I am just coming back to warframe (just before the newest cinamatic quest with mom) and I don't know anything and I am so lost. Plus systems have changed so much I don't know what I am doing. I'm slowly getting to the Helminth system upgrade to replace her ultimate with Gloom. Her ultimate, while feeling and look awesome, just is way too weak and demanding for her kit.
So, a max range build, using her 1, then using her 2 on an enemy to finally kill with with a condition overload heavy attack forced slash melee like the glaive prime or maybe reaper prime would nuke the area?
what happens when you apply her (2) to two enemies at the same time? Does the status effect spread by the first one dying bump up the proc on the second one?
So her ult just isnt worth running most of the time. Unfortunate, it's a cool concept too and the only real part of her kit that makes me think wolf frame.
they should make her 1 work with snipers has well (she has a sniper come on i get not letting aoe and rifles but snipers! snipers fit the theme of a hunter (maybe non aoe bows too like a hunter but thats not the same imo like how ivara is bows and voruna seams like a melee/sniper with a heavy axe and sniper signatures but still cool) like let us get the damage buffs on her signature weapon (like yes its overkill but memes!)
I just think the 4 should've had some kind of scaling with melee mods. Voruna's a really good warframe but her 4 falls very short with her passive and active.
No the archon mods are not worth it Continuity just press her 2 more Vitality same as the first Stretch nice but you have her 3 Flow not killing with cold dmg useless And last one just does trigger unless u use helmith
i build max range so i can group enemies with air burst, apply a slash/toxin with my weapon then nuke with my 2. I survive with quick thinking, equilibrium, health conversion and adaptation i dont even use her 1 cuz i have no duration:)

I noticed when the second passive is active (status inmunity) she cant block with melee, is that a bug or is it intended?
I hate that your Ult can't target capture targets, I have to disable my 4 to hit them. then after I can reactivate.

yeah its really annoying when my 3 just randomly does stupid amounts of dots and kill the enemy before i can heavy attack

Pair her with the one undying companion and you have a way to infinitely pick up health orbs too.
She's so much fun, I've seen so many different builds on her with various reasonings. I feel like when a frame can succeed in a wide spectrum of builds, they are a smashing success. Tanky? She can. Melee? She can. Caster? She can (when not grineer). Speed? Amazing.
Great to see step by step explanation into the minutia of each ability.
I'm a tad surprised you didn't consider using _[Arcane Blessing]_ as an arcane, for that sweet _[+1200 health capacity],_ due to the fact that Voruna can build it up relatively quickly. If you're getting extra _[+1350 armour from Health Conversion],_ the _[+1200 from Arcane Blessing]_ would be really nice, and allow for further modding wiggle room through the removal of Vitality. In my case, I went for _[Arcane Blessing + Arcane Strike]_ to get extra mod wiggle room on my melee, although I've also used _[Molt Augmented: +60% Ability Strength]_ to beef up the crit damage modifier from Voruna's 1.
Better to use augmented yeah , blessing is nice but it’s ok at best on Voruna too niche I have a tanky HC build but prefer invis build focusing on the CD makes her 4 kit like a fucking truck if you set it up right shah

It'll work. The trick as ever is finding the enemy with the mark before it expires and becomes a fake mark - especially if you rely on the set for your armor.
I was imagining the AOE spread from her 2 would hit and kill the mark target (which would then cause another AOE nuke), so don't have to find the mark target.
@@EienKai That's a good shout, so should be a bit more reliable than just the mecha set on most frames. Give it a whirl :)
For the high range build, I feel like slotting Blind Rage over Primed Continuity is a better choice.
For positives, you more than triple your ability strength, which heavily boosts your slash procs from melee attacks.
As far as negatives go, you really only care about ability duration for her 3, which will get lots of extra duration from kills anyways. If it runs out, just recast it, no problem.
Energy efficiency means nothing to Voruna as well.
honestly I can confirm that you can fit both Blind Rage and Primed Continuity on her with the right build but it's down to the player at the end of the day

Arcane Blessing is wonderful on Voruna when using Synth Fiber on your companion
I always noticed that sometimes, using Fangs and Ulfrun in tandem, I'd suddenly do millions upon millions of damage, but after the Fangs bit I understand why now. A Year on and this guide still helps.
Think beyond the obvious of making her 4 count as a melee, the one buff I would want for Voruna is to make her 2 count as 10 instances rather than 1 for archon mods
as you were saying if the 4 isisnt the focus of the build subsuming fireblast would strip enemies of any armor they had left at 175% power strength so that would do wonders with unairu strip if its using 2 and dynar for weapon enhancement
as if my Kuva Chakkuhr wasn't strong enough in Steel Path already, now I got Fangs of Raksh to abuse too
Voruna’s kit is perfect, please don’t change anything DE (except the 4 is kinda meh, it should count as a melee kill for her 3)
Also needs an animation when active where she runs on all fours. I love how it functions and the idle animation, but the lack of being able to bound around and stalk like a wolf is sorely disappointing.
honestly if they just make the procs build up the multiplier, and count as melee kills for her 3, she has a complete kit.
just something I noticed about Ulfrun's descent since it is refundable you can use it with shield gating cancel it and don't need anything more than brief respite. It has its own problems since you are still spending time casting and cancelling the ability instead of doing damage but it and be a nice way to get into shield gating for anyone who is new to it.
You can use the Arcane Blessing and get it shockingly quickly maxed out too, oddly, you didn't mention pull could be used on place of Ulfrun's Descent. A great amassing ability along with the Coil and Larva. I personally use the Pull.

Hold on, so considering all of this, Lavos got massively power crept, right?
His passive is conditional on picking up energy orbs. Voruna can have permanent immunity for no conditions, other than not being able to use another passive.
Applying and spreading status effects. Voruna can apply slash procs and spread them around, while Lavos can only apply elemental statuses, and has no way of spreading them.
The only advantage I see for Lavos would be his long range for abilities, while Voruna is melee and close combat focused.
Am I missing something? Or has Lavos become "we got Voruna at home"?
I use Voruna when I want to play braindead whithout using any Weapons at all.
Using a build without Ulfrun's Descent kinda defeats the purpose of her design.
Max Efficiency, with Good Range and Strength, tanking Duration. Press 1, 2, 4 and gg.
I run Rejuvination, all three Gladiator mods for Warframes, Flow, Primed Continuity, Health Conversion, Adaptation, Constitution, and Arcanes Reaper & Blessing. Make sure your melee has Melee Fortification, and armor caps out at 2500 (presuming my math is correct), and this is steel path ready with no forma required.
If I add forma to the mix; I'd replace the aura to swap in Steel Charge, replace Constitution with stretch as I'd be adding three crimson archon shards for duration.

from a developer standpoint for me, i would have programmed her 2 to spread at a divided amount of 26 and some change so that all the status effects can attach to the target and gives that 1-2second window for other enemies to get in range so it can then spread to new targets when paired with her 4. make her 4 stronger by mulipliers rather than just power str. so the focus would be more on duration and range for her than power str.

Going with the MECHA build on a kurbrow while running voruna is satisfying to watch it nuke a room I also run Masters summons replacing my 4th so you can just insta res it when it goes down
Running Master on 4 sounds like a good idea tbh, I might steal that since my Kubrow has a weird mangetic field around his head that causes him to go down every 10 seconds with full tank build lmao
I installed warframe just because I got an ad that showed the bundle Voruna came with, safe to say I am out of mind and have no clue what to do with this information on builds considering im completely new to waframe
been using her these days , and i have to say she's extremely demanding to play , people looking for a different challenge would enjoy
Interesting builds, going to try this out! I would make one suggestion though, as for the weapon of choice for creating your nuke, sporthrix has the greatest status chance, combined with massive DPS, personally I'd reap that benefit over a high Crit weapon like Rubicon.
She feels like an specialist generalist, like, what you normally think is volt helping with tank, atk, def, and buffs. But voruna is more of a general of specialist, like if you put lavos, kullervo, harrow and citrine. Of course not as effective as each of them but having even a fraction of each is very helpful

I left the game for a while and completely forget about health conversation. Now pair with gloom(replacing 4), she's not dying anytime soon.

Also since her 3's passive give heavy attack efficiency, comboing her 1->2 into a 12X heavy attack can cause some gross overkill.
i am thinking about putting gloom on her 4th power unless the change it more as i never use it and gloom gives me more safety thanks to the slow
tbh I got rid of her 4 for Gloom and only ever really use the status immunity passive because I find all the other passives useless and so that I can eliminate adaptation for health conversion since her 3 drops loads of health orbs and paired with her 2 and a panzer vulpaphyla I never run out of energy and gain a load of armor along with life steal and slowing of enemies
that said I believe everything was intended with this frame and don't feel as though anything needs to be changed aside from her 4 having a condition overload effect to go with her and count towards her 3 for kills and maybe better options for passives on her 1,3,and 4 as I personally find them 100% useless but other than that I say she serves her purpose as a melee frame and they shouldn't change that

Ah, that's what I assumed as well, either subsume 3 or 4 depending on weapon or skill damage build :) Good video nonetheless. The tooltips are insane by just reading them: 100% buffs or increasing to 100% or immunities or indefinitely longlasting buffs are totally overpowered in my opinion, seeing the numbers in play increase into the millions is just wow. I've played Voruna a few times now with an Ulfron build that's not even optimized like yours and no additional strength and she is still fit for high level. I play frames mainly as casters and only switch to weapons as needed, that's why I knew I had to keep her fourth ability, but it's just a shame that even though she can keep up her 3, she doesn't benefit at all from it (at least right now). For energy management I picked maximum efficiency and Zenurik, although Sahasa Kubrows (I believe it's them) can help, too, even if they provide energy a bit slowly when Voruna blitzes through the missions :D Moas with snaring mines or Nautilus are cool, maybe even Mag's pull or Nidus' larvae to stack enemies for nice status spread :D
I think I need to test her more for an optimal build. Optimal as in all around usefulness :D
I would recommend khoras ensnare over niduses larva. It leaves the enemy open to headshots, and has a better usability in my personal testing.

Remove Lycath's hunt replace with Vauban's tesla balls, put Archon Stretch on.
Archon stretch will activate with Vaubans ability even while invis giving you constant energy regen as long as you keep it running.
Not 100% sure I'm right on this, but I THINK that there's another very niche oddity with Varuna's second ability, namely that if you kill the enemy with the initial hit of 250 slash damage, then the status conditions aren't applied before the mob dies and so won't trigger either the spread effect or the buff duration increase of her 3.
Noticed this while running low level excavation missions. It's not gonna matter most of the time, but I thought it was interesting.

So with how the buff from her 1st works would it be possible to build her melee weapons for base and elemental damage as well as more quality of life mods while it picks up the slack with the status and crit, then combining it with her 3rd passive for heavy attack efficiency and say warcry or roar over her 4th? Like...would this work??

From what I've seen and tested, the Mech set does work with her 2 allowing for suuuuuper nutty status AoE, not sure if it’s a bug or not (would be sad if it was since it justifies me running my space doggo) but I haven’t tested MfD
I think you can deactivate her 4 before using up all the charges to regain energy, could that open up some more freedom in building around it ? Also, does the slash from her 4 work with the nuke tech on her 2 ?
While deactivating her 4 refunds the energy, its her later attacks that are the most potent.
As for the nuke tech, it can work just like any slash proc if the 2 hits slash.
I use the stealth finisher kill with the fangs of rasch for a nuke in a small area.

Fangs of Raksh + Cedo is a very nice combo.
I run Voruna with 0 survival and max range + duration, leaving str at 40%. And I don't have issues in SP +1h survivals, I just find a good place to spawn kill enemies, just pop invisible, fang an enemy and heavy slam with Praedeos and repeat ad nauseam. The constant procs, shield gating from abilities + invulnerable from Fangs' leap is more than enough to stay alive, and thankfully, Primed Flow gives enough energy to not have to worry about my Panzer's revive time.
However I find the spread of her dots extremely inconsistent, as in obstacles between the enemies stopping the dots from spreading.
with updated blast procs does this mean the blast status immediately goes off with voruna?

Reminds me of the Sith Sorcerer Lighrning build in SWTOR. Pure destruction if you get the rotation right, but easy to miss a proc and throw the whole rotation

I'm slowly getting to the Helminth system upgrade to replace her ultimate with Gloom. Her ultimate, while feeling and look awesome, just is way too weak and demanding for her kit.
So, a max range build, using her 1, then using her 2 on an enemy to finally kill with with a condition overload heavy attack forced slash melee like the glaive prime or maybe reaper prime would nuke the area?

what happens when you apply her (2) to two enemies at the same time? Does the status effect spread by the first one dying bump up the proc on the second one?

they should make her 1 work with snipers has well (she has a sniper come on i get not letting aoe and rifles but snipers! snipers fit the theme of a hunter (maybe non aoe bows too like a hunter but thats not the same imo like how ivara is bows and voruna seams like a melee/sniper with a heavy axe and sniper signatures but still cool)
like let us get the damage buffs on her signature weapon (like yes its overkill but memes!)
I just think the 4 should've had some kind of scaling with melee mods. Voruna's a really good warframe but her 4 falls very short with her passive and active.

Archon vitality not really worth it since if you proc heat it’s 10 but the mod only gives you one extra

i build max range so i can group enemies with air burst, apply a slash/toxin with my weapon then nuke with my 2. I survive with quick thinking, equilibrium, health conversion and adaptation i dont even use her 1 cuz i have no duration:)
