    Tony Chachere (Sa-shur-ee). I'm from South Louisiana and although we do use it, it isn't a Cajun seasoning. I prefer brands that are local to me, but I do use Tony's whenever I make my pickled eggs sometimes.

      @@MorrisPatchofHeavenhomestead you can order lots of Cajun meats, seasonings, and other Cajun items from there. The prices are good and they ship throughout the lower 48.

    Mark loves pickled eggs! I need to make these for him. About how long will they keep? And do you store in the fridge or leave on the counter? You may have said but my brain is still befuddled from bronchitis 🥺 have a great and blessed day my friend 💚

    How many eggs should I use for a 2qt jar?

    • @MorrisPatchofHeavenhomestead
      @MorrisPatchofHeavenhomestead  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How ever many fit, just put them in until you have a bit of headspace to add liquid and you are good to go, make sure you flip it daily to marinate them. Enjoy!

    I must say, that this is definitely ( not Cajun anything ). That is a ( mess ) in a jar. You really need to be careful about what you post on social media, because you are clearly heading down a path towards anaerobic botulism poisoning indeed.
