Thank you Nicole for all your advice. I look forward to more videos too. My hubby is Spanish and I’m half Spanish and we are considering to move back to Spain once we retire. We miss our family so much. I was considering investing in a property until we are ready to move there in the next 6-10 years. Considering renting it out in the meantime, however my sister-in-law did warn me about squatters and that the law is on the renter’s side if they don’t pay, we cannot evict them. Know anything about that? Eeeks!
Benidorm, Albir, La Cala Finestrat are all year round.
Thanks for being so informative. Many things to think about here.
Thank you for watching! 🙂
19,000 and 5,000 euro. That's absolutely incredible!
Thank you! 😊
Thank you ❤
Thank you for watching! 🙂
My wife is Spanish and we live in the US. I just asked her about the website thing. In Spanish she would say punto S but in English she says dot e s. We are hoping to move to Spain eventually.
Thank you so much for that! I didn't even think about saying dot differently. 😁 Do you know what part of Spain you'd like to move to?
@@traveltomoney Somewhere in the south. She is from the north so we don't know the ares well. But, our online search seems to keep leading us to Mojacar.
Hi Nichole. I am Spanish, living in Brighton UK for 15 years. Soon will be back to Valencia, my hometown. I saw other videos from you, from Pego. I went to Pego since I had to visit customers in Benisa and I thought after I seen your video it would be a good opportunity to visit Pego and to have a look to a few properties. A day was not enough, I think I'll be back soon to check out a few properties. First to rent, then lets see how it goes. Pego looks nice and quiet, which I love. I think it could be a good choice. Thanks for your video and info :)
Hi Antonio, I'm so glad that you liked Pego. Maybe we can meet up for a coffee there one day. 🙂
Hi Nicole. Thanks for answering back. It sounds fine to me as I will have to comeback to Pego. It would be nice to meet up with you, for a coffe to have a chat, as you can give me some advises. I am planing to leave Brighton by the end of July. Will let you know by email ones I am done here in the UK. Thanks Nichole :)
5k-10k is really nice. All this 50k is counting good deal for Americans or similar countries. In Spain, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus for 50k you start dictating where the property is located and how it looks. It's really expensive for us.
Thank you for the great information! I am extremely interested in doing very similar! What is your visa situation? That's what I am worried about most. Also, you renovated, right? Could you tell us more about that in detail when it comes to finding people to do the work, costs, and issues you had?
Hi there! I only stay as a non-resident for three months at a time. 🙂
Hello, thanks fof such a great video. I would love to buy a flat in one of those areas you mention but how do you start looking? Im based in the UK but dont use facebook! Cheers Stu
Great information!...Just curious, do you know much about the Asturias region?
Thank you! No, I've not spent much time in the north of Spain. I hope to visit in the next couple of years. 🙂
Thank you for your reply!@@traveltomoney
Do they have public transit in these smaller twkns
I am an agent and normally charge 5% as do most of my colleagues. I have never heard of a flat rate.
Is there sn email where people can talk to you privately
Hi, would you consider Cullera as a good town to live permanently? Or does it also go into the ghost town category because of properties being only for turism?
I was actually just saying the other day that I want to check out Cullera on this trip. I always see the name of the town on the side of the mountain when I pass it from a distance, but I've never visited there. I'll be visiting in the next couple of weeks so I'll let you know. 🙂
@@traveltomoney i have always stopped there once, the beach is amazing. From what i could gather, local’s impressions are mixed… some say it’s busy only during summer and then it’s just a lot of empty apartments the rest of the year. Looking forward to your video about the area!
@@Tzanti Hi, I am Paul from Holland, I was looking for a place in Cullera a few years ago, I was there in oktober just after the season, there are kind of two parts, the old town and the apartmentblocks near the coast, there it was a complete ghost town, the city itself feel a little if people where tired just after the high season. But still a way better than near the coast.
Can I contact you?
Agents here in Spain are on the whole unprofessional. No floor plans, no annual charges listed, no room sizes. Work on them being reactive, not proactive.
did you say 5 thousand euros for a house?
Yes, I was very fortunate. 😊
5:45 bro why she started crying
My name is Rose reside St Augustine Fl , if u see owner in Spain sale their home please let me know Thanks
Yes don’t buy in Pago
Find me a house. Name your commission.
A perfect storm is brewing in the United States. Inflation, bank collapse, severe drought in the agricultural belt, recession, food shortages, diesel fuel and heating oil shortages, baby formula shortages, available automobile shortages and prices, the price of living place. It's all coming together and it could lead to a real disaster towards the end of this year (or sooner). With inflation currently at about 6%, my primary concern is how to maximize my savings/retirement fund of about $300k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains.
Stop forcing locals out by purchasing property as an investment. A home should be a human right.
Totally disagree with you. Everyone has the chance to buy a property and refurb it, and make a profit. lts up to the locals to get savvy and buy smartly.
@@carolharkness5023 I don't know if you've noticed but fewer and fewer people can afford to purchase any property. The rich have to invest their money somewhere and what better way than in property, which generally gives a very nice return. Eventually there will be no middle class and all the houses will be owned by the rich. How is that good for society?
It's called life.
