kibbe petite isn't the same as being short. it means "precise." amy adams is 5'4" and a verified flamboyant natural. I think you need to accomodate curve.

Hi! I don't think you are a Soft Gamine. I feel you are more on the Romantic category. I don't see angularity in your overall body type. The Yang part is missing. I see more curves, softness and roundness. Sometimes, we can borrow from other body types to balance the overall look. But, Soft Gamine is a very particular type. I say this because I'm a Soft Gamine. My height is 5'2" tall! You look like my best friend lost sister! And she is a Romantic. Sometimes, the Essence is what makes the difference.

I’d been confused by all the kibbe information, but thanks to your clear key points on romantic vs soft gamine, I finally can see that I’m a romantic! Thanks !✨ I just subbed, so I’d love your thoughts on styling the romantic type.

#2 & #3 look so good on you! I like those softer, warm colors for your skin & hair. It looks like your face has a little ingenue essence in it (Kitchener Essence ID), so playing up that soft, doll-like youthfulness looks so harmonizing. ❤

Wow. As someone who does kibbe + essence analysis, I can tell you have great intuition and objectivity, considering ppl can get stuck in the “wrong” kibbe ID for years. Yes, it is hard to be objective about your body but you also need an artistic eye to make out your proportions in a geometric way. One of the most common methods for self-diagnose is to take your photo from chest level w 90• and then to line the silhouette of your body to see which characteristic is the most prominent: the vertical, the width, balance, petitenes (instead of a one seooping line, your body looks like it’s a collage of different geometric shapes, which is why they look better w color blocking), or the curve (this one is an inconsistent term bc ppl w no visible hips or tits can also have curve. It just means your body has a visual divide around the waist and your limb arent the prominent part of your body).
So congrats on getting your spot on. In addition, you can also barrow silhouettes from FG and R and even SC.

Absolutely! It can be difficult to be objective when it comes to your body. Thanks for watching :)

I kind of wonder if the outfit you were saying looks great in you for some reason (which it does!!!), might be because of the colors. The contrasting colors in it really complemented your face!

For bottoms gamines need to have preciseness at the edges so it's better to see the ankles or to be tapered at the ankles

I'm not sure what body type you are, but you look like you walked out of a, 1800s painting- specifically reminded of Romanticism, Academic paintings, Pre-raphaelite girls. So just wear loose pastel robes and I'm sure you'll look just perfect :DD

omg this makes sense, I always wear high rise and it makes me look really long and lanky, like all leg. I need to try a midrise !!
