Austin Butler was great. He is the only person to get Elvis's moves down to a tea. I wish Elvis would have had the nerve to let Col. Parker go after the 68 comeback special. His career would have been so different. Maybe doing things he wanted to do
Austin won with international voters: Foreign Press Golden Globe, UK BAFTA, Irish IFTA International Category, Catalonia Sant Jordi, Australia AACTA International, South African Online Film Critics Austin was named to the Top 100 Influential People in the World by Time Magazine, again showing Fraser's comeback and "Me Too" story means nothing from an international perspective when considering acting performance. @@MrPjw5 😂 that has absolutely nothing to do with the criteria of the category. Fraser being groped, blacklisted and never being an A list actor doesn't mean he gave the best performance of 2022. People like you are the problem with awards in the first place. No one watches a film and says "I wonder what this person's personal life is like and if it's bad I hope they win awards for it" Everyone knows why Fraser won. That's the BS of it al. austin apparently spent so much time learning elvis’ vocal cadences (ie the way he talks, his inflection, etc) that he talks like him irl now as well 😂
this scene in a way was almost terrifying. As Elvis performs on stage doing what he loves, Colonel Tom Parker's greed once again hurts Elvis in more ways than one by signing his life away to perform on that stage for the next several years
Still it's only a movie....so many important things are missing ... doing such a movie they should tell the truth ..... Parker never said to Elvis 'ARE YOU READY TO FLY?" ... nor did Elvis cry on the stairs of Graceland when Beaulieu left Him.....I wish He could tell us how it really was ❤
It's not a documentary. I'm pretty sure Doja Cat wasn't playing either, they make decisions and change things for dramatic purposes. The real test is that Priscilla and Lis Marie both felt it was true to the spirit of Elvis.
It is a travesty that he did not win an Oscar...especially considering he spent 2 years studying all of " everything Elvis "..moves, expressions, voice, etc.

Take a good long look at Brendan Fraser’s life and you’ll know why he deserved the win.
Just another Oscar narrative based trophy. That's why Austin's wins abroad are so legit vs the states with the Hollywood Foreign Press Golden Globe, UK BAFTA, Catalonia Sant Jordi, Australia AACTA International and Domestic versions, Irish International IFTA, South African Online Film Critics, International Press Academy Satellite, Portugal CinEuphoria
@@80steen44 So your favorite movie is “The Whale”, then?
@@MrPjw5 Nah, not big on films that reinforce stereotypes of the morbidly obese as being disgusting, depressed and stuffing their faces.
This movie was so awesome i loved it
We love you butler thank you for making a movie about Elvis😊
They had the right one to play the role of Elvis love him dearly can watch him all day everyday ❤❤❤❤❤
Yes he deserve the Oscar and the pruducer also Tom Hanes he brings back the king
Since this movie I am unable to listen to this song without tearing up.

I love you elvis ❤
Kocham cię dardzo you Julia lisczyk elvis presley suspension minds live ❤ Julia lisczyk love
Elvis presley suspension minds live
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
1 million times 5 is 5 million, great scene!
Austin was phenomenal! I think Tom Hanks' portrayal of the Colonel gets lost in Austin's shadow tho. He was great also!
I don't think Hanks was that good at all. Butler carried the entire movie
Deserves many oscars!
I love you Elvis
What a great movie ❤
austin apparently spent so much time learning elvis’ vocal cadences (ie the way he talks, his inflection, etc) that he talks like him irl now as well 😂
I think this movie visually beautiful. The cinematography is outstanding ❤
Este hombre nació para este papel!!! 👏🏻👏🏻♥️
Watch the original!!! Amazing performance. How he didnt win an oscar for this scene alone is outrageous
THE KING!!
Elvis forever ❤
Exploitation du king vive Elvis. Un film fabuleux et surtout un plus que realiste ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
God Bless Austin
I Love This Movie 🎬📽️👌👌🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏✌️
Blessed with natural good looks. He has dedicated himself to his talents and wo I don't think even excuses himself could fault tribute. Wow just wow
No man compares
this scene in a way was almost terrifying. As Elvis performs on stage doing what he loves, Colonel Tom Parker's greed once again hurts Elvis in more ways than one by signing his life away to perform on that stage for the next several years
If Elvis had a good manager he would have been twice the magnitude star that he was. Parker held Elvis back and took 1/2 of his money.
It's easy to blame Parker, but Elvis had the power to ditch him. He was manipulated, yes, but it was because he put loyalty over good sense.
@@mark_beastpriest5539 It's easy to blame parker because he was to blame. End of story.
@@mark_beastpriest5539Parker manipulated and groomed Elvis. Straight up.
Yep
@LT1HILLINGHOE you are right. He could have let the lawyers sever their relationship amd give the news. But he did make money from these shows
Mi canción favorita desde pequeña ❤....el REY, sin ninguna duda ❤ excelente película!
Very good cover,hard to beat.
0:42 - 0:55 is my favourite part. The song is a metaphor for what was to come.
I think Austin Butler is the best playing Elvis Presley
Wow makes me cry
Guys like his voice is exactly like elvis presley wow I doubt ❤❤❤
WOW HE WAS GETTING IT SO SMOOTH WITH THE DANCE MOVES HE OUTDID ELVIS WITH THIS ONE GREAT MOVIE ❤❤❤
No he didn’t outdo Elvis, Butler is a actor, you must not know the real Elvis because he would destroy Butler here 😂
One does not outdo Elvis. He is a legend.
No way he came no where at anytime the movie could be played again and ov still won't not touch Elvis tcb forever
Der Film war Bombe!💣👍👍👍💣👍👍👍
2 halb stunden schönes Kino! Für alle Elvis -Fans!👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Couldn't have picked a better actor, austin was made for this film.
the king of music
False he's the king of rock, Michael Jackson is the king of pop, and music GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!
@@fortnite9375 you liked your own comment 😅
Love this movie and the scene!❤❤❤
This an Oscar performance
Butler te adoro
HE IS ELVIS NO DOUBT 🤷♂️ ❤ PERFECT SINGING AUSTIN REALLY YOU WON THE OSCAR AWARDS
FEW ACTORS HAVE BEEN ABLE OF SEEM AS WAS Elvis Presley really
Elvis Presley is a legend
Esta escena merece 2 Oscars
Love this scene❤
I just realised hes singing CALL IT A TRAP" just as his manager is signing a contract and talking about his gains... Had Elvis on a trap. How ironic.
Excellent performance of Austin of Elvis. The outfit, his moves & his voice. Superb. Well done Austin❤❤!!!!
It’s caught in a trap
Please Why Manager Signing contract
He was Elvis. Truly.
The king Elvis!
So good!!!
the slow motion part 1:37 been playing on reapet
I don’t think anyone had as an iconic style unique to his own as Elvis.
Sensationally Movie incredibly well made filmed entirely in Australia! Austin portrayed was absolutely AWESOME AMAZING 💙🙏🙏💙
Australia saved many movies and TV shows during Covid. ❤
Def an Oscar winner
He didn’t win tho😢
He nailed it
Still it's only a movie....so many important things are missing ... doing such a movie they should tell the truth ..... Parker never said to Elvis 'ARE YOU READY TO FLY?" ... nor did Elvis cry on the stairs of Graceland when Beaulieu left Him.....I wish He could tell us how it really was ❤
Apart from the limited time, there are certain things they can’t tell ‘cause it’s not on the convenience of certain people.
@user-golden-rhapsody5915 when Beaulieu is involved you can be sure it's not the truth she changes her stories daily
It's not a documentary. I'm pretty sure Doja Cat wasn't playing either, they make decisions and change things for dramatic purposes. The real test is that Priscilla and Lis Marie both felt it was true to the spirit of Elvis.
It's so amazing 😍
The king
It is a travesty that he did not win an Oscar...especially considering he spent 2 years studying all of " everything Elvis "..moves, expressions, voice, etc.
vi la película ayer y austin merece nominado al scar es increíble
saw Elvis in 1974 and actually caught one of his handkerchiefs wish I still had it
He was "Lamb amongst Wolves" poor sweet darling :(
How this never won a Oscar I don’t know just shows you these people don’t judge it on merit compared to what’s about today
For me, Austin was the real oscar winner ❤❤❤❤
