No it’s not bro, so ur homework and research. A foldable phone is 1600 dollers and an ok tablet is around 700(ther used in a lot of commercial situations ie hospitals check ins automotive etc) 300 is relative to specs your getting. Not bad for a mediated with the amount of cores and rom/ram
I picked up one last month, and I've been quite pleased with it. I haven't really stretched out gaming-wise...I've mostly used it for Plex viewing and comic reading, so I'm glad to see it getting an emulation review. I've noticed a few instances of slowdown here and there, and I hate how the case keyboard (nice board, crummy case) puts it into desktop mode automatically, but overall I've been pretty pleased with it.
@@Droogie128 I picked up the keyboard pack on the Lenovo website (as well as the Precision Pen 3) when I bought the tablet. It's specifically for the Gen 2 model. PSA/TLDR: Do not buy the Chinese ROM Lenovo. Last year, I bought the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 which I think is the Chinese ROM version of the P11 Pro 1st Gen. It has touch issues when you're not actually holding it, meaning it's quite hard using it when it's on a desk. Even the pause/play button on TH-cam and skip intro in Netflix requires you to grab the sides of the tablet just to be able to click them. Palm rejection of the stylus is terrible, and the stylus just loses power when on standby, but if you remove the battery then re-insert it, it suddenly works again (had to buy a digital multimeter to check that it weren't the batteries fault). But I didn't return it because the tablet was still a great value compared to the Samsung S7 for the things I needed it to do, though I did have to buy a 2nd hand Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lite to use as a digital notepad because of the aforementioned stylus issues. But what sucked the most was when the tablet updated to ZUI 14, PC mode (productivity mode) and the Google playstore were no longer there. After a couple of days of research, I was able to install an APK of the playstore, but PC mode is just no longer there. I no longer use the keyboard because of that. So again, do not buy a Chinese ROM Lenovo Tablet, unless you're comfortable downloading and installing APKs, spending time researching forums for niche products, and generally tinkering around with the settings of your tablet.
Looks like the $229 deal was a one time thing, now it is $100 more.. around $330, i'll probably pick one up if there is another sale. Thanks for the awesome detailed review!! 👍
i was eyeing this for the past few days. unfortunately, the sale is over and the p11 pro (2nd gen) is back up to around $300 for the base model. the P11 plus was at around $170 but it's up to $190. at the sale price, the lenovos are a deal and a half, but where they are currently, it's probably better to wait for samsung to have a sale, as you can get some screaming deals with samsung as well. i picked up a s7 fe 128gb, with the 6gb ram for $250, and i feel that it is solidly better than the p11 pro 2nd gen.
Desktop Mode through video output on 4:35 completely seals the deal for me. I don't see any new sub-$400 Android tablet with such capability. Even the Tab S6 Lite 2022 don't have it.
One issue I haven't seen anyone mention is the the video "enhancement" the do on low resolution videos, if you watch a video at 480p you can look at how oversharpened it makes the image with no way to disable it.
the fact this is on ebay and I can use pay-in-4 is kinda dope lol this tablet might replace my chromebook tablet if I can get my USI pen to work with it
If I remember correctly from the P11 Pro gen 1 the speakers were JBL branded and Samsung uses AKG, but Samsung owns both companies, so not surprising that they sound near identical in quality.
this tab is going for 550$ in my country right now, lenevo is importing fully assembled units from china so they are paying 80% import duty + 28% gst for this device. samsung tab s8 goes for the same price
I have the CN rom SD870 variant. Only gripe I have is that the CN rom does not suppprt productivity mode unless you connect it to an external monitor. On the global rom you can turn it on/off in the settings regardless if its connected to a monitor or not. Another issue is the late notifications.
@@Matthew_MBG i still get ota updates although it is seldom. Only downside is the notifications, they dont push through, you need to open the app to receive all notifications. Its a minor thing but i got so annoyed with it i just got myself a tab s8+ and gave my lenovo tab to my daughter. Im not sure about the global MTK version if it also has that issue
Pretty sure I'm going to be grabbing one of these now that Amazon seems to have abandoned the Fire HD 10 Plus in regards to major upgrades. I'll probably never buy a Kindle Fire tablet again for myself.
I got this for $230 as a laptop replacement. I love it so much. It runs so much better than a laptop around this price range and having the pen and the keyboard case is awesome for class.
O have a question, the tablet is compatible with a proyector through HDMI cable i want This tablet to make presentation in PowerPoint because the computer is to bigger and the tablet are more portable
Nice performance/specs under $300. My listings are coming up for $294 currently so this would be in direct competition with Cheaper Ryzen APU laptops around $300-350, Something like the AYN odin (I think is $250+), and a little ways off the steamdeck & razer handheld. If you are getting it around $199-220 I suspect that's an excellent price and really beats out something like an RP3+ in the power department. And if you are looking for MORE of a tablet and LESS of a dedicated handheld with built in controls this seems like an amazing device for that purpose.
I've been waiting on the new Pixel Tablet, I really needed a Tablet this winter, but bought a Lenovo IdeaPad instead to get by. I'm probably going to hold off now until the Pixel tablet but would not mind using this as a Drawing Tablet for Inkscape, Krita or GIMP
This looked fantastic until I saw that they hiked the price quite a lot but was completely and utterly put off when I saw the UK price where only the 8Gb model is available, £439.99 ($529).
I have a China model Gen 1 I got it at a bargain price and it's WAAAAY better than an iPad for web browsing and TH-cam. Only problem is Netflix doesn't work on it no matter what method I use.
In my (relatively) poor eastern-Europe country this tablet cost between 430$(4-6 GB RAM) and 530$(8GB RAM), just as much as Xbox Series X or PS5. Fucking hell!
Mine died after just two weeks of almost no usage, died while charging which is a known issue and apparently still not fixed, so I gave up on lenovo doubled up the momey and got a tab s8 ultra on sale, best decision ever. However, for the price, this tablet was absolutely amazing. Shame that reliability is bad.
Yeah, so since your video they upped the price to $399.99 for the 4gb and $429.99 for the 6gb, there is no 8gb or 256gb, oh well i will still keep a look out. Love your videos and have been watching you since 2018. thanks
Just bought one of these last week to replace a Galaxy Tab S5e and I'm pretty happy with it. A couple of Android version updates would be nice but I'm not holding my breath. Still an upgrade as I was already using a tablet that stopped getting Android version updates over a year ago.
Hi I also have a Samsung Tab 5se and fancy this Lenovo can you please tell me exactly what you find better I use mine mainly for video content and music with the odd cod game
@@ipaddy Mainly it's just smoother and faster overall. I starts MUCH faster from cold boot, restarts MUCH faster, apps launch faster, app switching is way smoother. Plus the screen is a little larger which is nice. It is a little heavier and I really miss the fingerprint sensor on the power button, but I'm fine with that given how much faster/smoother it is.
Bought the 2 chinese version named Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022. Here the specs : - OLED 120Hz 6Gb Mediatek 1300t : 249€ - OLED 120Hz 8Gb Snapdragon 870 : 269€ And i can say, the mediatek does everything the Snapdragon does. Like at the very same performance on games (that meant for ARM). On emulation tho, you can say 870 is a bit better. The main point is : i was so impressed to get a 120hz oled with good specs that i bought the two variant in case i broke one. 😅
Nice review! I just ordered the P11 Pro :-) btw. can you tell me where to get that live background with the sharks and the girl? (during the "overview" part) Thanks!
The main selling point of this tablet is the Oled screen it offers for its price and nothing more. But performance and price wise.. So many tablet can outperform it on its price range..
This one in the 4gb memory size was 298 cdn last week. Now it 519 cdn this week at the web site. eBay has it 383 and bestbuy here in Canada has it 383. All are the 128gb storage.
I returned this for a tab 8 ultra. The screen has washed out blacks (search HDR ISSUES), poor viewing angles and slow WiFi compared to the Samsung. Tab 8 blows this away.
Wish this model was available last black friday... I returned home with a Tab S7FE and that tablet is just a lagfest compared to this Lenovo one, or a similarly priced iPad 9. Samsung should up its hardware game with their more budget oriented models
Lenovo needs to do a better job keeping up with Android security patches (at least) if they're not going to keep the core OS updated. March 2022 is the last security update I've had on mine (which is stuck on Andoird 10).

Thank you sir, learning many things from you :)
I am interested to watch Desktop Mode video with this tablet.
This thing costs $200 less than my HP laptop, but is just as powerful. Dang.
Picked this up for my wife based on your review - thanks!
Thank you for making this video! Love these budget devices!!
I bought one a week ago, what a deal, really awesome tablet!
Excellent deal from Lenovo, thx for highlighting it👍
desktop mode is game changing. Kompanio 1300T Mediatek is promising, and 8000mAh could last long
I just bought a tab S6 for $200. Deals are out there!
Wish I had waited. I have the P11 plus with the keyboard attachment. I love productivity mode. I may still get the pro.
I love how Lenovo ships out the tablet with it powered on. That's one hell of an unboxing experience. 0:28
@@jponz85 Really you couldn't tell? Shame on you.
Ordered one of these just a few days ago for 200 usd. Should be here in a few days.
Would love 2 know what u do with some of the devices that you don't use much anymore. Been a fan 4 a long time, keep up the content!
ETA PRIME. we need a Galaxy A9+ w8th 8gb ram review, please!
this tab is going for 550$ in my country right now, lenevo is importing fully assembled units from china so they are paying 80% import duty + 28% gst for this device. samsung tab s8 goes for the same price
I have the CN rom SD870 variant. Only gripe I have is that the CN rom does not suppprt productivity mode unless you connect it to an external monitor. On the global rom you can turn it on/off in the settings regardless if its connected to a monitor or not. Another issue is the late notifications.
would it be possible to get a global rom on one?
@@Matthew_MBG no, the SD870 variant doesn't have a global version. Only the MTK variant has a global version
@@serge0251 alright, how does the china rom work, do you notice any bugs or disadvantages (ota updates, pc mode, etc)?
@@Matthew_MBG i still get ota updates although it is seldom. Only downside is the notifications, they dont push through, you need to open the app to receive all notifications. Its a minor thing but i got so annoyed with it i just got myself a tab s8+ and gave my lenovo tab to my daughter. Im not sure about the global MTK version if it also has that issue
@@Matthew_MBG btw, i just got an ota update, productivity/pc mode is back on the toggles which is good
Pretty sure I'm going to be grabbing one of these now that Amazon seems to have abandoned the Fire HD 10 Plus in regards to major upgrades. I'll probably never buy a Kindle Fire tablet again for myself.
$208 right now on ebay 6gb model , mine arrives today ❤
I got the 8GB/256GB model for 220$.
I got this for $230 as a laptop replacement. I love it so much. It runs so much better than a laptop around this price range and having the pen and the keyboard case is awesome for class.
rooting it make it way more versitile
O have a question, the tablet is compatible with a proyector through HDMI cable i want This tablet to make presentation in PowerPoint because the computer is to bigger and the tablet are more portable
Would have loved a stress test to see how stable performance remains. If it down clocks up and down it's not great for such a large device
Hello. I am thinking of buying it . Can you tell me can it show deep black or just showing greyish black . And quality of oled?
The Chinese version is better with 8GB RAM and snapdragon 870
I've been eyeballing that one on GizTop for the past few weeks.
I thought the chinese one was kompanio damn Chinese keep the best variants in house like dual sim iphones
@@dinozaurpickupline4221it's both. You can choose, the companio 1300t is about £230 the 870 is about £320
@@CragScrambler only found 730G, i think u meant P12 Pro
NVM i found it
Does the chinese version have Widevine L1?
Always a great video! Thank you!
I have a China model Gen 1 I got it at a bargain price and it's WAAAAY better than an iPad for web browsing and TH-cam. Only problem is Netflix doesn't work on it no matter what method I use.
looking forward to your desktop mode video to see DeX alternatives in this space
Shame that reliability is bad.
where the hell did you get this wonderful animated fish background????
@@vinyfiny thanks for getting back to me so fast just the info I needed to hear 👂
Is it working fine since then ?
@@osamaaftab99 Yep, no issues.
Bought the 2 chinese version named Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022. Here the specs :
- OLED 120Hz 6Gb Mediatek 1300t : 249€
- OLED 120Hz 8Gb Snapdragon 870 : 269€
And i can say, the mediatek does everything the Snapdragon does. Like at the very same performance on games (that meant for ARM).
On emulation tho, you can say 870 is a bit better.
The main point is : i was so impressed to get a 120hz oled with good specs that i bought the two variant in case i broke one. 😅
Awesome review seems like a great tablet
I still have my first gen p11 and still love it.
One day I plan to buy a tablet or mobile with desktop mode, I think it's about time.
Nice review! I just ordered the P11 Pro :-) btw. can you tell me where to get that live background with the sharks and the girl? (during the "overview" part)
Thanks!
The main selling point of this tablet is the Oled screen it offers for its price and nothing more. But performance and price wise.. So many tablet can outperform it on its price range..
Great video!
This one in the 4gb memory size was 298 cdn last week. Now it 519 cdn this week at the web site. eBay has it 383 and bestbuy here in Canada has it 383. All are the 128gb storage.
Cheaper bigger than the new razer handheld and it can do desktop. That is a really good value. Even if you only ever kept it docked to a tv.
I have this tablet and I love it. It's an amazing device
Where did you get those live wallpapers I want lol
Wall paper engine, it’s an app on android and PC
@ETA PRIME bro thanx so much this is the coolest app ever I've always loved your wallpapers now I got em my tab s7 plus it's amazing
Please do a detailed video on the desktop mode.
Nice vid! I wonder if the usb-c interface support video-in. So that I could be used as a wired second monitor?
I bought a couple Tab S8's for my house back in December. I think if this was available back then I would've bought a couple of these instead
I returned this for a tab 8 ultra. The screen has washed out blacks (search HDR ISSUES), poor viewing angles and slow WiFi compared to the Samsung. Tab 8 blows this away.
A video on the lenovo pad pro 2022 ? 👏👏
It’s $399 at the link given.
where is it at $229? Can't see it on their site like you showed. I only see it at $399
it is 400$. ETA scamming as always
@@serhiiway It clearly shows in his screenshot that it was on sale. What do you mean "as always"?
@@OHCAM5 That's the point, he always shows one price, when you open it it's always bigger. You will NEVER find the price in the link according to his videos. Been following this channel for too long. People will buy with higher price anyway and money goes to this scam youtuber.
@@BlobBlobkins But he puts the price he sees when making the video. He posted the screenshot it's not like he lied.
If the product is too cheap, you are the product.
Only top tier brands like Apple and Samsung can sell you expansive items and still keep you as product.
Man I miss 7” nexus tablets, they were only $200 back then
Great video
Awesome 👌
You always my legend
Hey man great video, could you please let me know about the max resolution and refresh rate on the display out.
