I was stressed out and stranded because I hit that stupid button today. It took me 2 1/2 hours to find this video and a dead battery to finally get back on the road. Thank you for making this video it saved me!
same exact thing bro...bought an 05 dyna custom, got it home and hit the fob button in my pocket... saw this video and unlocked it and went for a ride... thanks no more sea rev.
This video saved my ass today like it has many others apparently in the past. Was trying to leave a rent house and not see the landlord since him and I hate each other and an hour before he was supposed to show, my bike arms itself with a dead key fob. Got out of there just in time though after walking to get a battery. Thanks to you though I knew how to unlock it once it got back to the bike. Thanks brotha 🤘🏼
if you are worried about your fork lock and ignition lock. you can buy a tubular lock picking kit. super simple to use and basically destroy the notion that these locks are even worth having on your bike. as for the security pin entry to find your personal pin you need to check it when you have your key fob. so double click your keyfob to disarm the bike. then, iginition on off, on off on. left turn switch twice . now you should see both indicator lights on the dash flashing together like hazards. at this point you press the key fob twice. the personal pin will now be shown on the dash. you can use the inidicator buttons to change and then just turn ign off to save. i suggest "11111" to test. To enter the pin if the bike is not disarmed. (i.e. no key fob).. you wont see the "0----" on some bikes so you have to enter blind. run switch to off. turn ign to accessory. press both indicators at the same time. the security red key will flash fast on the dash. now you have to enter the code blind. for "11111" its left , right, left right, left right, left right, left right. you will get the red security light to go solid and you can turn the ignition to on and start the bike. if you have "21111" its going to be left left right, left right, left right, left right, left right. hope this works for you.
Lol the is video was awesome, super informative and I could sense the frustration with the whole code entering BS. I felt you did a great job holding back, much better than I could have if I couldn’t figure it out.
Puuuuufff!!! What a videotip men!!! You save my ass, really, really thanks to you, gracias desde Mexico City, by the way, my lady is a Sportster XL883C 2005 😅
Don't know if I'm late for this but to use ur code you turn ur switch then you wait for the security to turn off then hold down ur hazards then from there u can put in the code with ur turn signals
If you still need to know how to do this, 05-06 is On off on off on. Push left blinker twice ( not 3 ) and then fob twice. This will give you the 5 digit code. 31313 is default. Turn off ignition to exit if no changes made. To bypass fob, ignition on then push left and right blinker to enter 5 digit code...start bike. Verified on my 06 road king
@@WVhillDweller how did you make out did it work. I have been searching for answers as well. I bought a 2005 electra glide standard a month ago and when I start it the red key light stays on. I have tried to get into change the security code but have had no luck. I also found a video that says if you change out the original headlight and side driving lights to LEDs this can happen and there's some part you need to get to make the light go out. Hopefully you got the answers you needed.
Turn the bike on and off 3times the last time leave it in the on position. The code can be entered Ware ur mileage is located. U enter the code by using ur turn signals. Hope that helps. Also I would change the code that Hayley gave you it's the same for a lot of bikes.
I'm having the same problem figuring out how to enter the PIN on my 2001 Dyna. So far no luck with any of the instructions and I've tried several different methods. I'll let you know if I Figure it out (Same system I believe). Also, I wouldn't be mad if you found out and let me know first ;)
@@WVhillDweller Just curious, have you tried moving the ignition switch to the ACCESSORY position as opposed to the IGNITION position before trying the PIN entry procedure?

My 02 Road King is like this. I went thru the procedure to set up the fob and now it won't start. All lights are on but no start. Totally baffled. I just want to take the fob out of the system and just use the ignition and fork locks. Any help would be appreciated.
All I know is one long press, to turn on the alarm. And two press short presses to turn the alarm off. If the battery is good, the red key light should flash when activated, also the four way flashers should flash. If this doesn't work check your battery connection. And make sure you have at least 12 volts.
Ok I have a 2005 Dyna UK model with the ignition by the battery and this works on mine to find your code 👍 so double click your keyfob to disarm the bike. then, iginition on off, on off on. left turn switch twice. now you should see both indicator lights on the dash flashing together like hazards. at this point you press the key fob twice. the personal pin will now be shown on the dash. you can use the inidicator buttons to change and then just turn ign off to save. i suggest "11111" to test.
Well, if you wish, you may do so. But if you disconnect your battery for any reason, you might need the fob to restart your bike. At least, that's how my bike is.

Thank you sooooo much. This is the first video out of a million we’ve watched to get this to work! It was so simple!
You are welcome. It's also in the front of the owner's manual if you can get one for your bike.
Thank you so mutch! Now after the winter I had the same issue, and thanks to this video I got it sorted out. 👍

Thanks dude for the information. My nerves are calm now 😂. So the next step is to override the security system 😎💪🏼
Saved my ass. I had no idea how to use the remote. Somehow got turned into arm system at the gas station. 😂

I tried that! My bike wont let me enter a different code. I pressed the turn signals and nothing happens.
To enter the pin code you need to switch ignition on then immediately press both blinker switches simultaneously
And then the left turn signal is to change the number and right side is basically enter
It doesn’t work for my 08 Fat Bob😢

I got the same problem with the security code
Same problem cost 600 for dealer to replace the TSM...how do you buy one ?
I don't know 😕
You can buy them on line and set the codes with a scan tool. Hope that helps you
THANK YOU!!!!!
Damn thank you man...and to everyone who replied.
Your welcome. go check out my other videos.
I can't start mine 2015 breakout I didn't get key fob brand new now can't get it started
Can you change the battery in the fob?
Did you get it sorted out? ...
I can't even get the PIN to show on my used 08 Dyna
You dont have right sequence. There are other sequences. The bicycle lock key you can buy replacements.
What I just added was how to start the bike WITHOUT the keyfob or change the code
Unfortunately I bought a 2004 Sporty last week and discovered it has this garbage on it.
How about just lock it with the key and don't ever use the key fob. Then you don't need the code.
Well, if you wish, you may do so. But if you disconnect your battery for any reason, you might need the fob to restart your bike. At least, that's how my bike is.
So sick of all the Bull Shit on my overpriced CVO keeps shouting off, ECU needs reset for no reason. Last one I purchase. Not in the mood for games.
