First, your bike is gorgeous. Thanks for this informative video. You performed an operation I was going to have the Harley dealer do on my 2022 tri glide but now I'm wondering if I can do it myself. I traded my 2017 Ultra Limited in for the tri glide and even though I had two fobs for the Ultra they only required one so I kept the second one. My new trike only came with one fob and I am planning to have the second fob from the Ultra mapped to the trike. In you video you map two fobs to the new antenna and I was wondering if I could do the same thing and map the old Ultra fob to the trike. Oh, and I changed my security code which the dealer never told me and it was a string of the same 5 numbers.
The problem with that is each key fob has a 24 digit number used to program it to a bike. So your Ultra key fob is not programmed to the Tri Glide. That’s something that will need to be done at the dealership. In my case both my key fobs were already programmed. I just synced my fobs to the security antenna. Hope this helps and take care✌️

It's been hit or miss for a couple of months. sometimes it works fine and other times it does it after I turn the main switch off and back on. Now it's not working at all. My gut is telling me , maybe the main switch. Anyone have an idea ???
When you say main switch you mean the ignition switch? Also I assume you checked your fob battery and the battery is installed correctly? Can you verify there is no damage to the security antenna?
No a New Key Fob will have to be programmed. Each fob has a code that allows it to be married to the bike. An AVDI tool is used to do the programming. You’ll have to take it to a dealership. I think you can buy the tool but it will be cheaper to take it to the dealership. Hope this helps✌️

How many times do you enter the pin number
One time for the pin.
From Arabia there’s no dealer around ,, lost fob no PIN code
Thanks a lot dude ill try will see 😎
Thanks for watching! Hope it helps. Did you try all 1’s for the code?
Man, thank you, thank you, thank you finally someone who’s not a dumb idiot that I can learn from braaaap
😂😂 I appreciate that! Hope the video helped. Take care and enjoy the ride✌️
definitely not a dumb idiot
I'm having an issue. with mine. The bike isn't picking up my FOB. But the code promp isn't coming up at all either. So , I'm not able to bypass.
Where do you get your pin from?
It was provided to me at the dealership and then I changed it of course. My original code was “12121”. I’ve heard some being 5 “1’s”
Can you use this method to add another fob if you only have one?
No a New Key Fob will have to be programmed. Each fob has a code that allows it to be married to the bike. An AVDI tool is used to do the programming. You’ll have to take it to a dealership. I think you can buy the tool but it will be cheaper to take it to the dealership. Hope this helps✌️
And good info for the fob. Thanks bro
Glad to help. Take care🤙🤘
Welp gotta take my seat back off soon for a battery swap, will take a look at this too
Appreciate you watching ✌️
I think my Harley also starts without keyfob? Bought it from someone who drove it in the water. After that I flushed everything out, and has started and ran several times and about 2 hours in total riding. After I parked it last time it ran great, now it has sat 2 days and will start but will die after about 2 to 3 seconds does someone maybe know what the problem could be?
What year is the Harley? Carbureted? Bad gas? Have you checked the fuel line? Could be a number of things.
@@SinisterClutch It is a 2013 fuel injected, has fresh gas and ran fine when last put away, today went and started it but wont run for more then 3 seconds.
@@sjorshendriks7103 Could be an issue either the fuel pump or fuel filter. How many miles are on it?
@@SinisterClutch it has 30k miles on it, I did read somewere the fuelpressure regulator collapses sometimes? Thanks for your time to reply
@@sjorshendriks7103 It definitely could be. Have you checked for diagnostic codes? Is there a check engine light or perhaps smoke when it does run for a short time?
Would it start when u put the pin in?
The ignition would turn on with the pin as if you were using the fob. At that point you can start the engine
What if you don't know your PIN (from previous owner)?
There is a video by Ryan Urlacher on TH-cam on how to set the pin.
@@SinisterClutch Ive tried resetting the PIN but all instructions say 'With correct Key fob'..
But I am thinking the bike is not recognizing, either key fob.
I've owned this 2011 electraglide for three years.
It went into security shut down yesterday. I assumed key fob battery.
I changed batteries in both key fobs, as well as check all connections to my new main battery, which I also tested.
The fact that BOTH key fobs don't work, is leading me to think 'antenna'.
I've tried to reset code, as well as the bypass alarm protocols.
If I don't know the PIN but buy a new antenna, am I wasting my time?.
@@paultappenden4337 Ok so the key fob needs to be married to the bike with a 24 digit number that has to be programmed. Each key fob has a unique number. That will have to be done at a dealership unless you have the diagnostic tool. It is possible it is the security antenna. Are you getting diagnostic codes?
@@SinisterClutch like an idiot, I didn't know I could get diagnostic codes off the speedometer. I've been watching TH-cam, and will be checking for diagnostic codes off to work.
Sorry to be a pain, but if it's just the antenna, would the Fobs that have worked for three years already be married to the bike?
(Is that a dumb question?)
@@paultappenden4337 No worries I’m happy to help. If the fobs have been working for a while then say all of a sudden asked for a pin then it could be the batteries which sounds like you changed. So with new batteries and still asking for a pin then it’s likely the security antenna.
Thanks bc I was lost in the sauce 😂
😂😂😂 hoped the video helped
Tattoo’ed my code on my hand just in case I lose my fob. 😎👍

what if the pin screen doesn't show up?
So is your fob working now? Are you just trying to change the pin? Make sure the fob is not near the bike
@@SinisterClutch ok , thanks for the reply , we got it working now, works with turn key on and press turn signals once, put in factory default code, 31313, success ! but wasn't kickin fuel pump on, no power at fuel pump fuse, found a bad relay
@@seanclear5251 Ahh ok. Glad you got it fixed 🤙✌️

When your motorcycle has a key fob it's not a motorcycle anymore.
Go back to carburetors and real bikes
@@Rob-d1v I have one of those too
@SinisterClutch modern bikes are junk. Like new cars and trucks.
Over engineered, over priced and over my wants and needs
