Oh, Damn, Almost had me there! I'm a huge fan of wrist watches so the title made me sit up and pay attention! Close Justin, so close! I like the idea, but I won't be a buyer for this. 1) Kinda pricy for a Security Fob Holder. 2) I've seen (somewhere) nice leather Fob Caddies that fit on your belt for much less, and the watch pocket in my jeans are already paid for. 3) Wow, is that thing bulky! It would have more appeal if it were smaller. 4) I've made it a habit to leave my Security Fob at home once in a while. That forces me to remember how to manually override the Security System on my bike. It might take a second or two longer to get rolling but, I'm usually not in a hurry. It's also handy if the battery dies while I'm out on a big ride. 5) I've already got a digital clock on my bike, in the odometer display, besides, it's already paid for. But, that's just me, you do what you wanna do.
Watching this actually got me thinking of a way to integrate t into my helmet. I’m an “every time” helmet wearer so this way I’ll always have it and not have to remember to put it in my pocket.
@@mdgiebel Just keep in mind, you're supposed to replace your helmet every 5 years or so. Will your design accommodate that? How easy will it be to fab your fob to the new helmet? Just wondering. I'd like to see your design when you're done.
With NFC technology that phones, and watches have you would think it would be possible to link them to the bike. I remember a Hyundai commercial that showed a Samsung watch linked to a car.
I'm an Ironworker so I would consider 1 if it was military shock resistant and water resistant. Like a g-shock. I shit shower and shave with my gshock. So a leather band means you can't really shower with it or wet it.
If you’re following this video for the #1 note that this dude puts the battery in upside down, don’t be like him. This watch is one of the cheapest quality watches I’ve ever bought and yet the price reflects that you’re getting a well made piece. The band (if actual genuine leather) is the only quality you’re getting with this piece and even that had little to no research done otherwise they would’ve left room to remove the bands for replacement. This is a good idea executed about as poorly as could be.
That watch is too big, I have a 2006 Dyna, I only use my key fob to turn on security at home when I store it or at rallies, how do you turn it on and off in the watch. They must have put the on and off switch for the bike in the fob?
Producers as of today ask 295.-$ for this really huge piece of plastic with a leather strap and a probably not too expensive quartz movement... although the idea is kind of cool, I personally would not spend that much money for it!
i like the idea, but i wish the watch has a technology so we do not have to take the fob a part, and put it in the watch. i like the style of the watch, but i am going to wait...
hmm ohh look we have made this watch an inch thick. Will it fit under a jacket or gloves ? Ahh it dont matter it for Harley riders, and theyl buy any old shite, cause they bought a Harley. Lexmoto quality
A lot of people wear automatic watch’s. They are more complicated to make than a motorcycle. That’s why I like Harley Davidson‘s and automatic watches. If you’ve ever been involved with machining anything you would appreciate.
It would be awesome if they came out with a way to do this with modern smart watches instead of an old style analog watch.
I'll take old analog all day, has a more classic and refined look to it in my opinion

No...Peter Fonda is at the end of the movie Wild Hogs, as the “old biker”....and says the line I quoted to Tim Allen💯👍

$300.00? I will keep a hold of my fob!!
I saw this in person at Daytona. It’s a nice $50 watch. Too bad they want $300 for it.
My thought too. I'd love the watch, but for $300 I'll keep my fob............
Is that just a HD thing? or do they do make them for other bikes?
does the watch uses the same battery to run.. if so means your battery will last less.
why is everyone out of stock of these? are they discontinued? or just that popular?
How would you turn on the bike alarm on or off
With NFC technology that phones, and watches have you would think it would be possible to link them to the bike. I remember a Hyundai commercial that showed a Samsung watch linked to a car.
They should just implant a chip in your HD tattoo lol
I don't know why, but that's both hilarious, and logical.....
For some reason the size of that watch reminds me of Flavor Flav.
So when you take your bike in for service you would need to remove your watch and leave it with the bike. Use your security code if you lose your fob.
Just give them your security code.

The company has no inventory and the website will not allow emails to process.

Newer model fobs are “proximity” sensed, the older fobs actually had a button to press to turn on/off the security.

Maybe if they came out with a Flavor Flav style necklace.
Genius
I love mine I did a review for it on my channel as well.
I’m sure you put the battery in the wrong way up.

Now, build something similar for the Indian Motorcycles. That would bei great.
I thank its not good idea 🤔
Genius idea, but the watch case is way too big for the average joe. A watch case should be no larger than 40mm.
PLEASE INFORM PEOPLE THAT THE BATTERY IS WRONG WAY ROUND ....
You put the battery upside down....
No mention of the price.
$295...
Cool, but... don’t ware a watch
This is great for techno weenies
Battery wrong way
that's a cool idea, but i've lost more watches than keys.
They need to make the FOBs smaller for women.

I'd rather have something that integrated with my phone. Who wears a watch anymore
Adults?

Love my Casio G-Shock MudMaster Watch!
A lot of military and vets wear watches.
I work in an environment where you can't pull out your phone to see the time. so its more convenient to just look at your watch.
Too bad I have nice watches and would rather wear one of those.
It's Harley, so the watch probably costs a few hundred dollars...
EDIT : It's $295. Gross
It’s a nice $50 watch. If it was $50.
It’s not made by Harley-Davidson
$300 for that cheap watch. $60 should be the retail price for that POS.
