This film had such an amazing cast. I loved seeing how the older characters interact w/ the newer ones.
Kayla was definitely an amazing addition to this cast. I can definitely see why ppl are hoping to see DeWanda Wise cast as Storm in the MCU now (& why she was initially cast as Maria Rambeau lol).
It's so refreshing seeing a positive review of this movie when a majority of everyone else are bunch of wet blankets

The cast, action, cinematography, CGI, plot, pacing, etc were all fantastic, and it made for a really enjoyable watch.
Therizinosaurus, that one with giant claws, isn't an apex predator, its just scary looking herbivore

That Dinosaur with the long claws is called Therizinosaurus, it lived in Mongolia about 70 million years. And the Therizinosaurus in this movie is blind and it uses echolocation

The guy that got eaten off the scooter won a raffle fundraiser by Chris Pratt, the winner would get a guaranteed on-screen dinosaur death.
This felt more like a Crichton novel, he hated corporate tycoons so they always get an ironic death. Dodgson gave Nedry the container in the first movie.
The pictures from the past (JP gate and the one of Alan & Ellie) are behind the scenes shots from 1992.
And the guy that died is the new “Newman” now. I’m referring to Wayne Knight’s character in the first Jurassic Park, but called him by his Seinfeld character’s name .
I have a lot of mixed feelings about Dominion. On the one hand it could have been executed better, but on the other I really enjoyed it! I could have done with the dinos getting more personality and screentime, but I feel the human characters were written pretty well. They probably could have pulled a Deathly Hollows and split this movie into two parts, but I never felt the story was dragging. The action sequences were pretty intense and there were a lot of character interactions that I *LOVED!*
All in all, I can tell it has a bunch of flaws, but I really enjoyed watching it. 7/10 stars.
With all the main characters coming together in this movie, it feels like the Infinity War/EndGame of the Jurassic Series.
The only thing i disliked about this movie was the way they treated the giga . He did nothing wrong ,not a single scratch on the main cast ,they killed him just because he acted like an animal defending its teratory and because rexy had to roar at the end of the movie to sell toys 😞
So what fuck that I'm sick of films bringing old characters back just to kill them just like they did in the Star Wars Sequels by bringing the OG trio back and just killed them all I'm just so glad they didn't do that for this movie.
And also how little of a threat Dodgson is. The rest of the trilogy have the villains be military guys why didn't Dodgson hire some mercenaries for security or even trained some Pyroraptors to be like guard dogs? Edit: And also how little death there was, even from side characters

Even though this one got a lot of mixed reviews, I personally loved it.
I'm glad that we learned out more about Massie. Blue's baby, Beta, is so cute! And seeing Sam Neil, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum back in this one was so fantastic. And seeing them in scenes with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard was amazing.

I really 💖 this movie. What really gets me at the end is that the animals, both the ones of today and the prehistoric ones can co-exist together, but we can't. We REALLY need to learn a important lesson from the animals.

The new animals in this movie are Atrociraptor, Quetzalcoatlus (giant eagle), Therizinosaurus ( long finger nails), Moros Intrepidus, Dreadnoughtus, Pyroraptor (red raptor), Dimetrodon which isn’t a dinosaur it’s a mammalian reptile (animal in the cave)
My thought always drifts to the titanboa and how it has the ability to be among the top predators and one I wished had made it into the series but I think was discovered after they were written

The spinosaurus was not the biggest land predator.
Science suggest Spino ate fish not meat and so giga is technically the largest land carnivore.
Moros Intrepidus and Dreadnoughtus ? where were they in Dominion ?
My aunt took me with my mom and my other aunt. There were four groups of four when we went to the theaters to see it. By the time it was over, there was only one of us from each group left. "Too much science, not enough of the violence" like the whole reason I love this series is the science. But great reaction as always ^-^
"Got all the apex predators in here" yeah, long claws boy ISNT a predator. Its a plant eater that is extremely territorial. Also this one is blind and since its blind, it takes everything it hears as a threat which is why it brutally murdered that deer and hunted down Claire, but couldnt SEE her.
Most (if not all) Dinosaurs weren't pack hunters and in the franchise there was nothing mentioned of Dilophosaurus being a pack hunter (it wasn't), it just happend that those were in a group
Fun fact the main villain in this movie is the same guy who had Dennis steel the dinosaur DNA in the first movie
Mosasaurus (the water one) isn't a Dinosaur, it's a marine reptile related to snakes and monitor lizards
Instead, I would like to see a Basilosaurus (despite the fact that he is a predator).
What would have been a cooler ending for Dominion aka the end of the Jurassic Franchise is a mix between the Jurassic World and Jurassic Park.
So the camera goes to a cliff like in Jurassic World, Rexy emerges from the forests onto the cliff along with Buck and Doe on both of her sides and when Rexy does her spin around and roars like in JP, Buck and Doe would roar like the ending in Jurassic World and finally at an age of over 30 years old, Rexy lends out the ferocious original JP roar.

Goodness gracious it is so good to hear somebody complementing this movie rather than just relentlessly bashing on it.
Another fun fact, posting another comment cause idk if you'd see if I edited the previous one, Im surprised you didnt mention it at the end of the movie when we see two more T-Rexes in the valley with Rexy.
Fun fact: That's Buck and Doe, the two parent T-Rexes from The Lost World, they confirmed it.
In canon, by the time of Jurassic Park 1, there were atleast FIVE T-Rexes alive.
Rexy was moved to Isla Nublar to be the main attraction for Jurassic Park while the others were left on Sorna.
Buck and Doe were the next two, who became a mated pair and gave birth to Baby, making the total Rex count to six at the time. (AT LEAST remember, I don't recall if thre are others.) They were the main Rexes in The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Then they confirmed the two Rexes at the end of Dominion who appeared with Rexy was them. We have no word on what's happening with Baby right now.
Then we have Bull, who is dead now. Bull was the T-Rex killed by the Spinosaurus in Jurassic Park 3.
Finally we have the one with the WORST NAME EVER. Big Eatie, who gave birth to Little Eatie, also horrible name. Thus making at least seven different T-Rexes in canon. Big Eatie and Little Eatie were in the final two seasons of Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, which is canon as far as we know right now.
Hey Tim, Loved your reaction and I really love Jurassic World Dominion and I'm so glad I got to see it the day it was released in cinemas. I'm sad that the franchise is over, but I'm so lucky to have grown during the time it came through the years... This film series will always be my favourite dinosaur franchise! Long live Jurassic Park/World!

I loved this movie! I liked how it focus on Maisie cause she's one of my favorites and I saw this movie on my 20th birthday! My mom cried at the end when Blue and Beta reunited!

Also if you didn’t know the guy Lewis todgsyn is the same person that pops up in the beginning of the first movie which pays the computer programmer Dennis nerdy to smuggle dinosaur embryos and sabotage the park he’s the same character in San Jose Costa Rica in the beginning of the movie he weres a red shirt black sun glasses and a hat and gives nerdy a Barbasol embryo cryo can and what’s ironic is he dies the same way nerdy dies he gets killed by the dilophasaurs the ones that spit venom he dies the same death of the person he paid 30 years back

Jurassic World: Dominion was expectedly a great film in my opinion! I like the pacing, the amount of Dino action, suspense, and how the latest characters interacted with the veteran characters.
If there’s one thing that could’ve made this film more satisfying, it was the cut prologue sequence, which ties the things that happens near the end together. In any case, I really enjoy JW: Dominion and thanks for your reaction to it, Tim!

Apart from action and veteran actors, the movie didn’t really do much. The plot was all over the place and just overall felt like a cash grab

Okay to be completely honest this should never have become a series of films. If it had just stayed as one film with nothing else after it would be flawed sure, but still looked back on as a great movie, but with them wanting to continually pump this into a franchise with more stupid characters in each don't even start with me on that girl who let them go free in the last one. There is nothing that resembles what made the original so great left.
Not sure if you caught it but Dodgson is the same guy from the very first JP movie who wanted Ned to sneak out those emrbyos in the shaving can.

Pyroraptor is the most accurate dinosaur in jurassic world ever.
I left a very lengthy comment on the Angry Joe Show review about how most people who say, this movie sucked are pretty nitpicky and hypocritical. I could maybe post it here again, if anyone´s interested. I went into detail about stuff from the first movie, that apparently everyone could accept, but now, when something similar happens again in the sixth movie, everyone´s like "OH NOOO! Please, stop it with this stupidity, these contrivances and this nonsense!".....
Idk, I thought I brought some PRETTY solid arguments there and so far nobody ever replied. Which is VERY weird, whenever I post an opinion, it almost always gets bashed instantly. Or in some rare cases I get at least a few people saying they agree with me. But so far I got nothing there. First time.

@@filippoagostani8896 Ok, I could see if I can copy it over. You have to keep in mind of course, that it's more within context for the Angry Joe Show video, where they kept complaining about plot conveniences and they kept repeating ".... and then it just so happens...."
I think, I brought up a pretty good counter argument there for that.
To me, this movie was exciting, interesting, well acted, well paced. It was overall just a very fun watch to me, nothing particularly great, but definitely better than the second one and probably also better than the first movie, but I mentioned some things about that in my comment. I'm gonna look it up and post it here in this thread later. Just have a little patience. 👍
@@filippoagostani8896 Got it! Of course, I don´t expect to convince anyone. I just hope if you disagree, try to be civil and maybe at least acknowledge the common sense in my arguments. Here it goes:
I think, you´re being inconsistent when you keep complaining about the "it just so happens". Because you all liked the first movie, didn´t you? Well, when they get attacked in the Visitor Center by the raptors, it just so happens, that Ellie is there to help Alan block the door and then it just so happens that Lex knows her stuff with that computer system and then it just so happens that she finds the right file just in time and then when the raptors jump through the window (why didn´t the raptors just try to jump through the window before?? PLOT HOLE!!) it just so happens, that they find a ladder to climb into the vents and then it just so happens that they get up there and kick the ladder down just in time before the raptor can get on it and then when inside the vents, when a raptor jumps up to get them it just so happens that the lid falls down onto the raptor so it gets slowed down and then when it jumps up to get Lex, it just so happens that she can climb back up just in time. That all happens in the span of like 5 minutes! You´re nitpicking about these things! There´s coincidence, convenience and plot contrivances and this movie didn´t go too far on any of those things. The action was FUN! They didn´t book too much on nostalgia, the old cast was GREAT! Only thing, I would complain about was that Bryce Dallas Howard was supposed to be in love with Owen and I didn´t believe her for a second. She can´t act "being in love" to save her life. Everything else was mighty fine. I would give this movie something from a B- to a B+, perfectly okay film, definitely better than the second one (that one DID insult my intelligence as an audience member) and probably better than the first Jurassic World as well, because the first one was very simple and slow by comparison. This film was packed to the brim with exciting action pieces and other than maybe a film like Rise of Skywalker, where I was constantly cringing and like "wtf???", I never questioned the logic of the plot in this one. Well, except for Claire outrunning that raptor. That I agree with, that was pretty stupid and you could see that with every cut, they pushed the dino further away again. Just fix that with some obstacles in between those cuts for the dino to get past and the problem would be solved. But that´s not lazy writing, that´s just lazy filmmaking. I´m getting upset, when the writing gets mind numbingly dumb and this movie didn´t have any of that imo....

So, I definitely agree with you with the "it just so happens" thing: every movie of the franchise had stupid or illogical scenes and plot holes (the T-rex's enclosure ditch that appeared out of nowhere in the first movie, the buck T-rex eating the SS-Venture's crew despite being inside the ship in TLW, the two men being killed in the little boat by wth knows in JP3, all the Indominus escape situation in JW, ...) and I think the ones in this movie are forgivable, just like in the previous ones, especially if they lead to cool dinosaur action scenes (I also found some of them pretty entertaining, accompanied by those cool dinosaur designs). I also forgive some of the cringy dialoges and some of the "mhe acting", since there also were in some of the previous movies (mostly in the two JWs). Some people also said it had a bad CGI but, although it wasn't that great in few scenes, I thought it was ok and I also liked that they brought animatronics back (like they did in JW2).
Now I'll write a second comment where I'll explain what I disliked about the movie, just to not make this comment too long...
What I think the major problems of Dominion are:
1. The fact that it didn't had a "solid villain", in the sense that "those who should have been the villains" (Dodgson as the main villain and Giganotosaurus as the secondary dino one) didn't seem like much of a threat to me, due to the fact that they didn't do much in the film that made them feel "dangerous".
2. The ending feels too much like its beginning, or the ending of its predecessor, with the dinos still free on the planet and, supposedly, still causing incidents and human deaths.
3. My major problem with the film, *the locusts* ... Those things cause the movie to not being about dinosaurs but about damn insects. I made a long ass comment on Rickraptor's Dominion video where I explained to the people who say none of the movies in the franchise is revolved around dinosaurs why they are wrong. I'll leave it here only if someone's interested (just like you did with yours lol).
With that being said, these were my thoughts about Dominion: I had three major problems that ruined my experience but I agree with you about almost all the other aspects.
I watched the movie at the movie theater on opening day with my mom and I enjoyed it.
The Dinosaur of the Giants claws is called Therizinosaurus, it was a herbivore and one of the most lethals.

I really loved this movie. It was my 2nd favourite in the franchise after the OG Jurassic Park

I definitely recommend reading both novels to learn more about Lewis Dodgsen and Biosyn, then watching the short film Battle at Big Rock and the Netflix animated series Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous
I feel like the only genuine issue with the film was the ending, I feel like if the climax is a little more explosive (not literally) and the ending a little more ambitious? People would be less upset about this movie. That said, I still love it.

i liked this movie, although 1. it was to short 2. having the first 5 minutes cut from theatrical hurt the film (can watch the prologue on youtube). at least we get an extended cut with almost 15 extra minutes for home release and new digital. still wish it was like a 3-3.5 hour epic conclusion to the sextology. the hand thing at the start with Owen also is like how to train your dragon
In real life, T-Rex was the biggest land carnivore and Giganotosaurus was 2nd. And also irl T-Rex wasn't even close to being blind, it could see, smell and hear stuff from over 4 miles away and it could even see stuff camouflaged and standing still
Uhm no the giga is larger the trex is heavier and let's not forget about spino who is bigger than both the giga was a few tons lighter compared to the rex but he was a lot faster he had a bite made to cut flesh while the rex had a bite force made to crush bones
Stoltman Jakob in the movie it’s not blind it just can’t see if you don’t move and there’s a logical reason for this because it’s the same T. rex from the first movie and it’s mentioned in the first movie all the dinosaurs have frog dna in the gaps of there genetic code and later in the movie and the Jurassic park novel the T. rex can’t see Alan grant very well because some frogs can’t see you if you don’t move that’s also how they bread in the first movie and novel it mentioned that some west African frogs can change sex from female to male
The spinosaurus from JP3 should’ve joined Rexy in the fight instead of the Therizinosaurus. That would’ve been so much more epic.

The dinosaur with the claws is a theriazinosaurus and the feather dinosaur is called a pyroraptor and there no hybrids in this movie so all of them are not mixed with any dinosaur

Well for me this movie is dumpster fire because of many many things like the undeserving death of Giganatosauros becauseit it genuinely didn't do anything it was just livin his normal life he didn't even atleast hurt one of the cast or something and the old cast o JP felt like they just added them into the movie without anything to do with them like bruh I have more critics but I'll keep it short but I'll do give it a 4/10 though still bad like the other movies but I did enjoy JP1 alot since it's better than all of the other sequels

Jurassic Park is a very likely always will be my favorite film of all time. It is the first movie I ever remember seeing in the theater. I have an entire room in my house that is Jurassic Park and I have seen it well over a thousand times. I legitimately watch it like 50 times a year. I am even enough of a dork that I counted one year and it was 56 times. Now I love the first one obviously I love lost world I absolutely hate Jurassic Park 3 and have not watched it in probably 6 years and if I can help it, I will never watch it again. Jurassic world I enjoyed it was fun but it's nothing like the original first two. And that's okay it's the fourth movie in a franchise as is the next one the 6th and so on. It doesn't have to be a masterpiece. It's a big Blockbuster sequel. So Jurassic world was enjoyable enough. Now I'm definitely in the minority as I enjoyed falling Kingdom more than I enjoyed Jurassic world. I understand people's issues with fallen Kingdom but I enjoyed the horror aspect of it as well as the improved CGI and use of animatronics again. For me it was just better although I respect people who do not agree and I see why they don't. This movie I had a lot of high hopes for. I only watched one trailer because they spoil everything these days but it looked to be something I would really enjoy. I am not picky when it comes to the sequels. Obviously they will never compare but I can still enjoy them for what they are. I will say however I was extremely disappointed in this. I didn't hate it like I did Jurassic Park 3 and the more I watch it it does grow on me a little bit but I just was really let down by this film. I will say overall the CGI is the best I've ever seen. There are some shots that are less than stellar, but a lot of the stuff with the tyrannosaurus Rex and the giganotosaurus are just insanely realistic. I loved the nostalgia of seeing Grant sattler and Malcolm back together again and mixing the two worlds but I just felt like it was a big let down. From things as little as the facility itself that they were at being just really unrealistic, to it being rushed and too much being thrown in, to dachshund being this really weird quirky character. It just didn't land for me. I thought the giganotosaurus was awesome but I think they made a mistake in using it. It was cool as hell but it was just an animal being an animal. I think the right thing to have done would have been to bring back the spinosaurus as the antagonist again. Everyone has a reason to dislike the spinosaurus from the first film from it being basically a murderer haha serial killer type, to everyone being mad that it killed the t-rex. There was such a natural story there. And I understand it would have been doing the same thing over again, but it wouldn't. It would be different. Or it would have been amazing to figure out a way to have the three battle it out. Personally I think it would have been a little bit of a pain to come up with exactly how this would fall into place, but I would have loved to see the spinosaurus and the giganotosaurus about to completely annihilate the T-Rex, when out of nowhere the buck and doe T-Rex that we see at the end of the film, originally from the Lost world, come and the three of them take out the two others. I think the Henry was storyline Arc was a good one but I still would have preferred to see him go out as the bad guy and get eaten haha but it's okay. I loved seeing the dilophosaurus again and I loved how the nedry / Dobson angle came full circle. I almost think the better choice would have been to do what avengers did, and make this into two films. They could have stretched the films out and added a little bit more storyline-wise. But what do I know. Overall it was enjoyable I didn't completely hate it but I was very disappointed. If I had to score the movies, I would say the original is a 10 the lost world is 8.5 and would have been a nine if the last 20 minutes or so had been just a little less sloppy and rushed. The third one I would give a five because unlike some people who see a movie they don't like and automatically give it a one, I'm realistic. The movies still a Hollywood quality movie it's still a decent movie a one is reserved for stuff like the room and really bad straight to TV sci-fi movies. That's not in any way shape or form the same as Jurassic Park 3 level of movie. But it still wouldn't get better than a five for me. Jurassic world I would give a seven fallen Kingdom I would give a 7.5 and then maybe and I would give a 6.5
