The CGI in this saga are not bad, they were done that way on purpose, to give a fantasy feel to the movies and take some of the realism out of them because they are aimed at children.
That's the beauty of the first three parts, the fact that Rodriguez played out various childhood fantasies and, in general, as if he himself was some kind of child when shooting films.

The Spy Kids movies is such a classic early 2000s vibe that still leaves so many fond childhood memories watching this with my younger brother and the rest of the family as a kid. While it might be cheesy and on the very corny side, but its the good kind of cheese that's makes it so endearing and such a enjoyable ride of a family movie.

The first SpyKids was the very first movie I was obsessed over. Watching my VHS copy for years. I loved this movie as much as a kid and still have nostalgic memories.
I do like the indication that, even though they're not having anymore kids, Ingrid and Gregorio are implied to have an *active* sex-life and haven't settled or gone stale or fallen out of love. And, just to make things better, despite all their arguments, once they've changed clothes in the shop, at no point does Carmen criticise Juni's outfit, implying she actually likes it.
