The CGI in this saga are not bad, they were done that way on purpose, to give a fantasy feel to the movies and take some of the realism out of them because they are aimed at children.

This movie was made FOR kids so in all the scenes where adults aren’t noticing things, you can see that the kids ARE, bc it’s basically saying, this adventure is for kids’ eyes only lol a lot of the jokes and visual gags were supposed to be for kids too (like the mustaches being fake is bc little kids will actually think you’re a different person if you shave or get a haircut bc no object permanence lmao)

I do like the indication that, even though they're not having anymore kids, Ingrid and Gregorio are implied to have an *active* sex-life and haven't settled or gone stale or fallen out of love.
And, just to make things better, despite all their arguments, once they've changed clothes in the shop, at no point does Carmen criticise Juni's outfit, implying she actually likes it.

This is the definition of "By Latinos, for Latinos"...seriously, Antonio Banderas and Danny Trejo did not have to go hard on the Latino family values in this movie, which is already super ridiculous and cheesy its insane...but they did!

The Spy Kids movies is such a classic early 2000s vibe that still leaves so many fond childhood memories watching this with my younger brother and the rest of the family as a kid. While it might be cheesy and on the very corny side, but its the good kind of cheese that's makes it so endearing and such a enjoyable ride of a family movie.

Ah a childhood gem, but enough chemistry between Gregorio and Ingrid for adults to enjoy too, alongside the solid comedy and general absurdity veering on parodying the spy genre. I liked the second one too, third one in the video game was pretty weak and the fourth one was the shameless reboot attempt
You underestimate though how terrifying CGI was for kids show in the 90s-2000s; Butt-Ugly Martians, Code Lyoko, ReBoot, Transformers: Beast Wars, Jimmy Neutron, Cubix, whatever that plane show was with the human faces, the CGI the stuff of nightmares

And how long before they start to wonder why they if that's the case do they have to be the ones taking orders?

this is such a great childhood classic, loved these movies when I was a kid :D yes they arent very good but they are absolutely perfect for children, so silly, so creative, so much fun, just very accessible for kids xD its funny how the parents story is literally Mr. and Mrs. Smith :D I really like the score as well its very energetic and fun :) its crazy how many big names they got in this franchise :D clear indication of growing up watching this, as a kid I had a big crush on Alexa, now as an adult Im just all over Carla Gugino xD the first 3 movies are definitely worth it, the 4th one is garbage :P

The kid who plays Juni also voices the lead in the cartoon Generator Rex, who is also half Hispanic as it happens. One of my favourite shows growing alongside Ben 10.

I watched the 1st movie after the 2nd one as we got the dvd for this a bit later. I remember my favorite scenes in this movie is when they were in the safe house cause of the cabinets that suddenly got filled with food, the instant food stuff, and the money from different places in one of the drawers. I also like the scene where they were getting gadgets from Machete's. As a kid, those spy gadgets looked like the coolest things ever.

This was my favorite movie when I was a kid. I rewatched it recently and it still holds up well for me. I still hope in the future we get a McDonalds from a popcorn looking bag.

*idk if you'd react to series, but monk is a really good one. It has 8 seasons but it's so worth it.
Tony shalhoub (think that's the right spelling) is the star in it and he was in spy kids as well as pollie.

He does react to series, but I don't know if he reacts to older ones. ItsTotallyCody is doing Big Bang Theory, which is sorta new

Robert Rodriguez' job is weird but who i mine to complain? Althought I love Antonio Banderas and the dinamics between Juni and Carmen's players.

Spy Kids, a.k.a., the CGI better than that in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

13:51 If the kids could get a Big Mac and a large order of fries in that little packet in 2001, for free, no less, surely, there would be an Auntie Annes pretzel with cheese dip in there. In this economy, we need this machine

What other Alan Cumming (Floor) movies should we get on this channel? We can't get Tim to watch the live filmed performance of Cabaret to see his performance of the Emcee, not until he's seen the original movie with Joel Grey (who also originated the role for Broadway), he needs to see how Joel Grey perfected the role in one way so that Alan CUmming did it in a completely different way (and perfected it in that way).
