So I’m back and to finish up the Jurassic Park Franchise! And this is the 3rd Installment from the latest Trilogy. This is titled JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION. From 2022. Four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, dinosaurs now live and hunt alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history's most fearsome creatures. Now this is one of my favorites I think I still like the first one but this brought back the battle at the end with the T. rex moments like are what made me a fan of this franchise and the rabbit hole of dna and genetics with Dinosaurs was dope as hell

GLAD THE ORIGINAL OG CAST CAME BACK!
Not as bad as people say it is. Great bring the old trio back and they didn't die. How I rank this trilogy. #1 Fallen Kingdom, #2 Dominion and #3 Jurassic World.
You should watch the extended edition of the movie, as it's a much better improvement, with 15 minutes of never before seen footage.
If you notice carefully. Giga, the villain of Dominion, has a similar appearance to Indominus Rex (the villain of the first Jurassic World). Giga has a design that is exaggerated from real life. Because they intentionally made Giga and Indominus similar. Because Giga is one of the ingredients of Indominus Rex. Including Therizinosaurus (Long Claw) is also one of the ingredients of Indominus.
Another reason why the movie designed the Giga too exaggeratedly. Because they wanted to be able to distinguish between Giga and T.rex during nighttime battles. Because in real life the two had many similarities (except for the arms and head), and ordinary people would refer to the larger Theropod as a T. rex. So they designed the Giga to have exaggerated spines to make it noticeable.
My mama & me watched this in theaters. And she was nervous at 33:41. She leaned over & whispered to me that they were probably gonna kill off Jeff Goldblum. When he got away but slipped on the ladder, she literally grabbed on to me. Lmao

Fireworks, he has that shaving cream canister because he is the guy that originally gave Nedry that can in Puerto Rico in the first movie. That's the guy Nedry was all like "Dodgson, Dodson, we've got Dodson here!" when he told him not to use his name. He was stealing those embryos for Dodgson & BioSyn back in 1993. They recast the role because the OG actor got into trouble with the law for some pretty bad stuff, but this is that same character.. It's also very fitting & a great call-back IMO that the very dinosaurs who took out Nedry in the original, the Dilophosaurus, are the exact same ones who kill Dodgson in this potentially last movie. Call it irony. Lol. Keep killin it, brother..
San Jose where Dodgson met Nedry, and are you saying the exact same animals or the same species? If the former, where is the evidence for that?

Sorry, I should have been a little clearer on that & in retrospect, not used the word 'exact.' I see where that was misleading..
@@chrisbell9075 ah, fair enough, I just thought if they were some of the ones in the original park it might have been more known, like how it is the same T-Rex etc.
@@j.m.marshall669 good point. Idk tbh. It very well COULD be some of the same ones based on that fact & the fact we never seen any of them get killed on screen or haven't so much as saw them again in a movie up until this one. I may have to do some research on that & see what I can find out! I highly doubt it, but as you mentioned the Rex & then like the Brachiasaurus from FK, etc., anything is possible..
@@chrisbell9075 well, it's not impossible no, if a bit unlikely. Ramsay did say most of the Nublar dinosaurs were there too, but we have no idea whether any Dilophosaurus were saved from the eruption in Fallen Kingdom as they weren't listed on the Arcadia's cargo manifest (can be found online). It's genome was seen in that briefcase though at the end of FK, so maybe the ones in BioSyn Sanctuary were a lot younger and created by BioSyn.
The Mosasaurus was the marine reptile, and felt criminally underused again. The Therizinosaurus that had the long claws was a herbivore too, not sure if you already knew that since that scene didn't make this reaction. Also, the two T-rexes that are seen approaching Rexy towards the end are the Buck and Doe Rexes from the Lost World.
I ENJOYED THIS MOVIE!
I know the plot of the giant locusts made many people turn away from Jurassic World: Dominion, but I still liked it. Of course, as with the previous films of this franchise, they made the carnivores the "bad" dinosaurs yet again. Even Blue became much more aggressive than she was in Fallen Kingdom. Beta, Blue's daughter, was really adorable here. The ending left something to be desired, as with the other five films. After returning Beta to Blue, I was hoping that Blue would run up to Owen and give him a big hug and kiss to thank him for her daughter's return. Sadly, this did not happen in the film.
We saw how the water dinosaur ended up, he was happy coexisting with the whales.
Yeah, but I'm calling BS on that happy result. It's surely gonna mess up the ecosystem? We saw the Mosasaurus eat a Great White Shark for an appetiser in the first Jurassic World... :-s

I know it was critically panned and many hated it but I actually liked it. Could have been better bc I think they pushed the nostalgia factor too much tho that's what drew me, since I saw the original in the theaters with parents when it first came out. But there was many plot points that went nowhere or thrown together, but it's still my favorite after the first. If for no other reason than the message left at the end. Put that in today's parlance and it's a lesson everyone should learn. Coexistence.
