I mainly use fingertip grip with 1-3-1 and this mouse is AMAZING!! My hand size is 21cm x 9cm. The XM2WE (69gr) and Gwolves HTX Ace (39gr) were my main mice which I really liked but I always felt the XM was a little too big and the HTX was a little to light for its size. My assumption was correct the OP1 (50gr) which is basically a smaller version of the XM is perfect and feels amazing to use for fingertip grip and the weight is great too being just a little heavier than the HTX. The only thing I had to adjust was bringing in my 3 fingers (1-3-1) a little closer together since the front of the mouse is narrower. I have tried most of the hyped mice the last 5 years and finally found the perfect mouse for me.
My ninjutso sora v2 hasn't arrived yet because of cny but the zowie u2 is actually very similar to the op1 shape with a wide back prominent hump and narrow sides. The difference whether you pick the u2 over the op1 8k is simply whether you think going wireless is more important than the 8k performance. I would wait for more info on the sora v2 first because I have a slight intuition that might also be a really good choice to consider
The xm1 shape is mostly different on the sides. Apart from the op1 being smaller meaning you’ll have to pull in your fingers a little more, the sides are also flatter compared to the tapering on the xm1. Imo the op1 gives a better grip for fingertip. I can’t give you a 100% answer on the 8k wireless situation because the current standards are 4k and not that many companies have gone beyond that. I won’t be surprised if some Chinese company manages to make it happen by the end of 2024 but theres still the battery life problem. I need to charge my mice after a day of 4k use so I can only imagine how power consuming 8k is going to be. Even if you do get 8k wireless, you’re most likely not going to use it regularly or you’re connecting a wire. That being said, the op1 8k wire is quite nice without a bungee. If you got a bungee, it’ll feel wireless
@@cebbax ok u convinced me. but one last question this is gonna make or break my purchase, how is the weight balancing on the mouse? the best weight balancing ive had was on my superlight i went ahead and bought the lamzu mini and it felt off everytime i picked it up to re adjust on the mousepad if the weight balancing is good i will buy the mouse. Thank you for taking the time to reply good luck on youtube ur amazing
@@bsi99 The weight balancing is good. I haven't noticed it being front or back heavy both in real use and from picking it up constantly. Your grip does influence the weight balancing to some degree. Bigger mice tend to feel front heavy for me since my fingers are placed near the back but the op1 shape is compact so you won't have any issues with that. Also thank you for the kind words!
The skates installed on the op1 8k are good enough so you won't need to swap them out. You should realistically only be replacing them when the stock skates are bad (muddy, scratchy etc) or your current ones have worn out. However in the future if you develop a preference, swapping them once you get a mouse is completely fine since skates generally last quite long
I'm not sure what sort of problems you might be referring to. Are you talking about not being able to use the 8k polling rate or just having problems hitting 8k?
@@suuhnn thats completely normal. 8k is the max your mouse can technically get to but in actual use, you need to move your mouse extremely fast to even reach 8k in the first place. Most of the time you'll be sitting on 3-4k and occasionally hit 5k on certain games like battlefield and cod mainly because you do need to flick to another angle very quickly in those
How you dare to show the mouse like that, maybe clean the mouse ? PLEASE. ( that's trigger me all the time ) Anyway the white is much better for that but i have to admit that even if the stock switches are not that good this mouse is pratically perfect for a wired mouse, it's the ONLY mouse that i can use with a cable. For the shape, nothing beat the Pulsar X2-H Mini for me. I've tested the mouse on a Soku Akai / Aqua Control Speed and Equate Kiwami V2, the mouse glide very well on these 3 pads. Anyway FREACKING GREAT explanation about polling rate augmentation VS Refresh Rate, finally someone who have a big brain, very objective review. I absolutely hate "kenzo" guy and i don't want to say more about that so thinking about buying the Kenzo mousepad is literally a no for me but...maybe it's something special ? do you recommend me to test this pad even if i don't like the guy wich make a collab for this pad ?
Ye mb the thought somehow never crossed my mind. I think the switches in terms of just feeling wise, they are very solid only beaten by top modern wireless mice. A lot of people prefer the x2 over the x2h but its an underrated shape imo. In regards to the kenzo shogun pad, its basically an energon surface control pad. Main reason to get it over already great control pads like the saturn or temple of dreams is the 0 texture surface. If you do want to give it a try, they have the control v2 which is the solid colour version of the shogun but its just a little bit slower. Anyways thanks for the advice and kind words !
great, coherent review. if you keep this quality of content up expect your channel to grow man!
Thanks lad 🙏 appreciate the kind words!!
Scroll wheel can feel heavy to scroll and click for anyone who uses the M3 a lot...
which game is the 2nd one after apex? seems amazing, and thanks for that review, i ordered one! seems to be worth to buy
It's Battle Teams 2 on steam and thanks for the kind words! Hope you enjoy the mouse loads 😊
what about the standart 1k hz wired version ?
What's the name of the game you're playing in the video? 1:00
That’s Battle Teams 2

You think it is heavy? and What if we use a bungee?
Heavy as in the mouse or the cable? I had no issues without a bungee but you can use it if you have one
whats the mousepad ?
Will the stock skates work on a glass pad or should I get ptfe skates? Thank you ❤
The stock skates work well on a variety of surfaces including glass. No need to change them!
What game is that at 0:60?
Battle Teams 2, good for killing time!
Should I get this or the ninjutso sora v2 or the zowie u2?

how different is it from the xm1 mouse ? and is the wire a problem ? like should i wait for wireless or is the wire not bad

Pls answer, how precisely you can set DPI on this mouse. Like can you set for example 534dpi?

@@kabetee You can only adjust the dpi by increments of 50. Anything in-between will either get bumped up or down
Hi, complete beginner here, when should I be using the spare mouse skates? Should I be replacing them as soon as I get the mouse?

do you enable motion sync on it?
No
hows called the first game?
apex & battle teams 2
Hey not sure if u will respond, but i've been having some problems with getting 8khz on my op1 8k, did u encounter anything like that

Damn I thought they made it wireless. I’ll pass.
Wireless coming in July!
