American and Canadian TV personalities are much worse in terms of depth of thought. But it's because of the cultural difference - on US or Canadian TV, the most important factor, ultimately, is time. So the selection and training of TV personalities, and their goals, are different; there is no time to explore anything in depth, it's all about getting the most interesting points (preferably scandalous ones) out before the time break.
To be clear, I am not saying that the Brits are smarter, or more likely to be factually and/or logically correct. They may be - and from what I can see, quite often are - just as wrong, but their position is still more elaborate and sophisticated.

I've noticed that ever since the Cathy Newman interview, the media in the UK will no longer have Jordan Peterson interviewed by one person. It is now always two-on-one or three-on-one. Therefore they can't make themselves look like an idiot anymore. Because now there will always be someone to immediately jump in and change the subject to cover for the other persons argument being destroyed by Peterson.

They have been subtly gradually implementing idiotic ideals in people as something normal in daily life and he's fighting as if he never got behind any of them in the first place, which I extremelly respect, and that's why he won't change the way he talks to suit anyone that has already been manipulated with pretty words and pretty ideals and doesn't even know, if we were 20 years ago he wouln't be controversial at all, but because pf that gradual and subtle implementation of unquestionable ideals on society, he comes as "controversial" when he, you know, questions...and even more so when the answers to the questions aren't as beautiful as they want them to be

Cathy is not a victim she was just outclassed in by Jordan at one point he had to slow his pace down to let her catch up. It was a brilliant lesson in thinking for yourself rather than just falling back on the generic cliches.

He questions the feminist orthodoxy: he says that we have equality of opportunity (which we do) but that attempting to control equality of outcome is never going to work, because we are individuals and will decide for ourselves. If I, as a woman, want to be an engineer; nothing stops me, nothing prevents me except myself and the fact I am not good enough at maths. Should they lower the criteria for me? No, I'd rather we had engineers who were properly qualified than have equality of gender at the risk of lowering expectations. Would I like more women in stem? Yes, if they choose to be. The reverence I have for this man is infinite. Jordan Peterson is a genius with such a deep care in his soul...He is so beautifully gracefully powerful. I just get everything he shares...he actually teaches every time he speaks.. The world should listen.

There was a strong implication during this interview that Jordan Peterson was somehow responsible for Cathy Newman receiving death threats for HER behaviour during this interview. This is a prime example of the importance of Jordan's points on individual responsibility
You're right but bear in mind, these alleged death threats were only claimed, no evidence was produced to verify her claims. As is usual in these cases, when the left leaning person loses an argument, as Cathy Newman clearly did, they try to frame themselves as the victim in some way, thus undermining the opponents comments or beliefs.
She immediately jumps to ad hominem - ('why are you so popular with the Alt-Right?). This tactic is always used by a person who does not have a convincing argument to hand.
But the thing is, the alt right does like him, most conservatives like him, and I have noticed that people, usually conservatives, who are racist, sexist, homophobic, etc., absolutely love him. Now, why is that?

Look at it this way - the 'humanities' subjects where Peterson encounters all these "Maoist" intellectuals - what proportion of the universities do they make up? Not very much. Is Peterson really saying that the freaky left-wing Postmodernists have also taken over all the other faculties, like civil engineering, computer science, medicine, law, mathematics, physics, geology, accounting, aeronautical engineering, architecture, business and management, chemistry, dentistry, German, and town planning?
