When you've run a channel on TH-cam for a decent period of time, you soon learn that trends come & go, people come & go, and other channels come & go. The key is to simply focus on what it is that interests you, and make it as entertaining as possible for the audience. As always I enjoyed watching this mate, I agree about to many trying to be U tubers, I as you know never script anything, for me it's about the good company the bonding and time spent with trusted friends, OOh did i forget to mention I like capturing the " Geezer Banter ". Well apart from my main role in later life of smelling of stale cabbage and piddle i like to think of myself as a tightwad and wild camper.... Love making my own kit, saving a goodly few bob and getting things just how i like it gear wise.. I was recently asked by Welsh Ian, what did i value the most in Bushcrafting the answer was easy and quickly given. For me it's the good and trusted friends I have made along my way.. I 100 % agree with so many so called experts, they have done a course with someone no one has even heard of and suddenly they know it all and start telling you "you are doing that wrong "..I can't type my reply to such persons on here but lets just say it's in a Solider like manner.. I know it includes the words "#Foxtrot Oscar " and would most likely end with the words " Dicky Head "..In my reply ! ( grins) Take care mate and all the best for the new year !
I am with you on your thoughts. I don't get into people's business, and i expect them to stay out of mine. In any case people can have opinions but life is too short. Live and let live
Hello Dave, the Swedish people do their coffee in their kettles. They love their coffee. About "bushcraft"; I have seen loads of videos over the years and I much prefer your style. I do like kit but as long as you are warm and dry etc. that is the main thing. It's about enjoying being outside without a massive rucksack.
Hi Chris, I appreciate the nice comment on my videos thanks, totally agree on being warm and dry especially in the winter months i alway have extra cloths with me and i do see people take a large rucksack with gear and don't use the kit they have took out with them if you got it use it. Hi Rob, over the years i have stopped and started drinking, I not a heavy drinker but it was more of a bad habit and now I don't need it in my life and the good thing is I do not enjoy it anymore which is great. All The Best David

I guess being a pipe smoker myself the pipe smoking algorithm suggested your video. I love the outdoors, but I'm more of a daytime rambler and flask man though. I enjoy Dunhill now Peterson dark flake from time to time✌
Hi Mate, I enjoy a pipe the most when i am relaxing and in nature somewhere it just the best time, i have not tried the Dark flake yet the normal flake is one of my go to tobacco which I really enjoy. All The Best David
Good honest video Dave, yes there are far too many ' Bushcrafters ' out there that want to be a Ray Mears, I find it's sometimes quite annoying, they know no more than the average book reader of that subject yet they try to come across as a teacher of that subject, quite pityful really. Anyway mate, pouch is used a lot cheer's and have a good 2023 mate.

I do TH-cam as a way of passing things on and I am not a numbers chaser. We are producing a lot of firewood at the moment from trees that we fell. ATB Clive.
