it would be funny if devs instead of patching this completely, just made a system that detects if you are doing this and if you did it then it spawns a chest that looks like pacifist chest but instead it just kills you instantly...that would be the most noita thing that can happen
@@ihatehumans666 basically if you drop a wand with no spells in pheremone it spawns invisible ghosts you can farm with the emerald tablet for shit tons of money and it counts as trick kills too so you can make it blood money as well

I would argue that half of the noita experience is screwing the game over because the game has no holds barred in screwing you. however, I completely understand your attitude. I told myself I wanted to get my pacifist and no wands achievement on the same run, and I have to say: it was very satisfying to kick kolmi to death.

Considering how the bug seems to work, you might also be able to continue to heal yourself by polying again. I did't think of it during the game tho, so I didn't test.

One of the possible causes of this could be that the game treats polymorphing similarly to a death, dropping eggs and such. A possible fix would be to simply not treat polymorphing as a death.
I played until NG+ and my game crashed, once I came back to my now corrupted save file, I speedran to the end and found an "under 5 minutes" trophy there.

Anyways I ended up getting the no damage and no wands trophies, and I wound up surviving the midas. All this on my first win. And I didn’t get the victory achievement, even when I exploded myself :(

The only time i used poly was before i went into the portal to the The Work (End) and still got passivist , no damange taken and no wands to show up. TLDL; maybe you only have to do the poly before the final portal.
I want to try this, but I've not even started the game yet. I feel even getting to the point where I'd use the exploit will take me longer than it will take the devs to patch this.
Does the fact that you restart with mods enabled not invalidate the pillars? I thought the only way you could get those achievements is in no mod runs?
I like the game, but in some ways it still feels like it’s in alpha, and needs a fair bit of bug fixing as well as improving QOL and making the game less unfair (not less difficult tho)

can you make a bunch of spoiler-free videos on what to try to access hard-to-find content without showing what it leads to? it always feels so sad to watch videos that just show off secret areas/biomes, because it just feels very cheap, but it's also next to impossible to accidentally find them yourself.

I wouldn't call the pheromone trick "broken." I think that's just a clever use of the game's "physics." This is an actual bug.

@@sliver3703 it can also work with wands with spells that are at 0 charges (Bomb, Magic Missle). It doesn't have to just be a wand with no spells

you didn't turn on any mods, so i think it just restarted the game like it would've did if you hit the save and quit button
Also Pillars unlock with mods as far as I am aware. Steam Achievements and high scores are the only things which don't work with mods.
