This fundamentally changes my understanding of how the voice works. I did not realize that vocal strain is more than and often is outside the voice box.
The way I learned to use my voice was with all the focus in my throat on producing sound because that’s where the sound is actually made. But I had to relearn how use my voice to remove that strain, but it seems I have only moved the strain to my core instead of training to remove the strain entirely.
This video has taught me more than any teacher or tutor has ever taught me about how to produce vocal sounds without hurting myself.
    Thank you

I am a language therapist so having a good sounding voice is essential. I am working with a voice therapist and laryngologist. I had Covid about a year ago and that’s what my voice problem started and then it started getting better this past April and then I got sick again with some sort of upper respiratory problem and went back to having difficulties with the raspiness again when I talk. Would love any pointers to have a speedy recovery and get this problem permanently fixed.

That strain is exactly my problem! I do get pretty decent vocal recordings done when I have enough time between the takes to recover from the most strained parts (=the higher notes), but I really struggle when trying to sing a song in one take…not to talk about multiple tough songs live on stage. Gotta give these exercises a try! 😊

Great music channel! I also support the request of several people and I also suggest making a video about Viki Gabor. I am delighted with her voice. I also encourage you to see her other music videos, such as: "Superhero", "Time", "Ramię w Ramię", etc.

Hey good practice. I feel like I can't stop yawning now. Got my mic yesterday. It's fun. I'm trying to find songs I could sing. Thanks 👍

Oh my gosh!! The tension! For me it's like when my vocal chords go all weird and floppy and I start singing like Baby Yoda or an Elderly Cat!!

@@ramseyvoicestudio Sir, is it right for a woman to sing in the corresponding higher octaves of male register, to master high notes?
