    Tips that help a little:
    - warm ur voice with a piano (select notes in order and if the note is higher so make ur voice, when the pianokey gets lower so ur voice), do this for 5-10 minutes, u can choose
    - U NEED to relax those shoulders (i know at first its hard, but not impossible) , also breath deeply before singing relax, sit straight, and when singing ONLY move mouth, u dont need to move all ur body ( when u get better u can move more) finally find a comfortable position.
-DO NOT restrain yourself if u try to sing low it wont work (im not saying u need to scream), but u get it. ( I KNOW UR FAMILY MAY BE THERE) so close ur door thats all, if u have siblings get them out the room.
-also very important, find ur type of voice, sing with normal tone, so u find what works for u (if u do find, it will be easier)
    - DO NOT IMITATE THE VOICE OF UR FAVORITE SINGER, i know because i went threw the same thing, it gets easier when u sing WITH UR VOICE
    - once u think ur ready, try doing karaoke to easy songs u know
it took a couple of days but i got better, i hope u too

I can afford to join an expensive vocal lessons but I don't have the time out of my days due to heavy academic pressure but some angels like you actually help to teach us how to get the best out of our vocals. Obviously everybody can sing but there is a range and limit to which you can use your vocals. Honestly these short videos in my break helps out a lot.

If you fear the judgement of others, don´t start anything, it will bring you suffering only. Grow the fuck up and love yourself. If you do; everything is gonna come to it´s right place at the right time. Work on yourself. Don´t be lazy. You are worth it. Lots of love to ya buddy!

My mum is always sad that she cannot sing due to a surgery . As she was talking about it again yesterday, she mentioned how i have a better voice compared to her's but I never sang.
It really got me to try singing (actually to "sing") while I can and give it a try since no one else in my family plays any music.
Your video helped a lot and is such an encouragement to make me believe that learning to sing (with 0 talent) is possible! Im sure I can perform for my mum soon haha

I really love that you left in your bloopers while talking instead of relentlessly cutting and mixing to make yourself sound perfect and scripted like so many other TH-cam channels. You come across so much more personable that way & it makes this video feel like a conversation, not a lecture, which is so awesome for learning. I work on a lot of videos pre and post production so I just wanted to say that, it's amazing to hear someone talk naturally and imperfectly to their audience and be so down to earth and willing to teach as you are. I learned so much! Thank you for the video

My biggest issue is the intimidation and fear, I absolutely love performing and singing, and I do have the talent for it, but I literally have severe anxiety over singing in front of others and i literally have severe breakdowns because the anxiety screws me up when i try to perform,.. I auditioned for my school’s musical, i had to perform 3 workshops and each it got worse each time,.. it just kept on building up.. my teacher had spent so many hours on trying to help me get over it, but it just keeps getting worse and worse every time i have to get up in stage.. Sing healthy everyday, Singing healthy especially while singing songs that you like using the tips that was said in these videos will actually help a lot. I accidentally kinda got a bit better at singing just because they told me to relax my throat and sing with my diaphragm and I applied that and would put on music and try to use that method and sing as much as I Can to songs I like and now im starting to hear Vibrato in my voice when singing. It is also mentally healthy because it gives you more courage to sing around your siblings and other people because to yourself you don't sound as horrible anymore. Having these small improvements in my singing voice is actually inspiring me take practicing singing seriously.

This is amazing! What I now know is called "chest voice", I learned by accident like 2 decades ago trying to sing along to Alice in Chains while trying to teach myself guitar (Jar of Flies). Only when I had a cold was I able to reach Layne's range comfortably and it really is a feeling because I was able to find them still after my "flu voice" was gone.
So my "not really a tip but a sort of tip" for the girls/ladies out there trying to reach those lower notes: try to sing even if you're sick! Ofc take it slow, don't have to project and definitely not if you have a sore throat. But try to sing if you're a bit hoarse and see what happens :) The goal is to feel the note so you can return to it and then build strength.
    Edit: new sub! Meow 😸

I normally speak with a more deeper country voice not nearly as deep as some but I don’t have to force an accent is what I’m trying to say. I’m trying to get into singing country music. In fact I already wrote a few songs. My wife and my mother in law know but they’ve never heard me sing or read any of the songs I’ve wrote. I just got back from a 9 month military deployment overseas and spent a lot of nights where I had shifts singing songs that I like. Almost all of them being country.

You don‘t need to scream or anything like that just one powerful note and everything is fine. (Works too when you‘re nervous)

Just found you. I feel like I can sing but then I start thinking self consciously 'you sound good in your head but you are off pitch', 'don't sing too loud or others will hear you', 'you're actually flat and straining your neck to hit those notes'.
But I feel like I've been doing the right things and needed fine tuning, which you help here!

I wanted to record myself singing a Christmas song and playing my ukelele for him and his family. All I can say is the ukelele is definitely hitting the right notes... 😅

Since the beginning of quarantine/self isolation I've just been imagining and picturing myself and how'd I be as a singer. It's kind of a big aspiration of mine.
All though, I am kind of self conscious about my voice, I have quite a soft voice and my voice cracks easily so I'm not sure if my big dreams will ever come true.

As a kid and a teenager, I couldn't sing a note. Over my lifetime, I have gone through two phases of improvement, one fifty years ago and one right now thanks to
karaoke and group vocal classes at the local senior center. At this point, I am good enough to make a lead track in a studio. What I mean by this is that I generally cannot sing a number from front to back without some major mistakes and bad notes, but that by doing takes of different parts of a song, I could get the whole thing right in not too long.
Long ago, plinking around on piano and guitar, I made some discoveries on my own. A salient one is that singing the pentatonic scale (black keys on the piano) might be good way for someone can't sing a note to learn how to tune their voice to a note, get their voice moving up and down in pitch and find out what their vocal range is. I still do pentatonic up and down as a vocal exercise, and because, dagnabit, I think it sounds kind of nice too.
However, when I mention the pentatonic scale to anyone trained in music, either vocal or instrumental, they act like I am asking them if they want to meet my pet cobra. What's this about? As far as I am concerned, any port in a storm. Anything that helps someone who can't do a note of vocal music get started, it's for the good. I have even considered the idea that Western music and maybe most of world music got started with the pentatonic scale, not the major scale. If anything, the minor follows naturally from the pentatonic, not the major. Only then can the major be discovered.
