"Dad bless him" deserved a much bigger reaction
Calum Sanderson seriously 😂
it was a medium joke at best
i dont think people fully heard and processed it, because otherwise it would have gotten a bigger laugh
I didn't hear the joke. It sounded like "God bless him" which wouldn't be that funny. Thanx for pointing it out.
I thought the same. Think he said it so fast he was on next line before people realized what he said.
Jason Sudeikis is GOLD. Dude is hilarious and a genius with dry humor
Jason is going to hell for playing Jesus in that fashion
brandon smith you must be fun at parties
@@j8342 Brandon does not party..Can't have a stick upp the culo and be reddy to drink the devil juice
@@j8342 Meeeaaaann😷🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tim Tebow was like that tho
“Leave a little room for the Holy Ghost” 😂😂😂😂
Old Skoll!!
Holy Ghost was changed to the Holy Spirit, to not scare kids, back in the 60's.
Cause changing the Word of God is no biggie!
hahaha hahaha hahaha hahaha
@@saint6563 It literally means the same thing. Lol
@@joeydoherty368
Do you have a comprehension problem?
When was it stated it wasn't?
Clearly, for those at are able to read & understand English, only pointed how it was changed.
Never the ghost & the spirit weren't the same.
Maybe you can get someone to explain this to you, your Mommy maybe?
@@saint6563 Very funny. I was responding to how you said it was changing the “word of God.” That’s all.
"I'm sorry, I'm forgiven.". Best Jesus quote ever!!!
Revdrian Invian iiI
Revdrian Invian 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Along with "Dad Bless you"
Jesus wears socks with his sandles! "Im sorry, Im forgiven"
Had me dying 😅😅😅
If I’m the son of god, Tom Brady’s gotta be his nephew.
THE GUYZ NEPHEW
But that Belichick guy(devil horns)😂
That makes even more sense after his latest win
"I dont need that. That was a medium joke at best" lmaoooo
It took an insane amount of effort for Kenan not to lose it there. You can see it all over his face lol
"You're only there in the 4th quarter???"
"Uhh, yeah. Have you watched film of the first half?"
"You know who you should be thanking? Your kicker. Matt Prater I pray to you buddy!" What an amazing line!
"Matt Prater, I pray to you brother!" As a hardcore Broncos fan, this is the best take on the Tebow era!
The Broncos defense should have received as much credit as Prater, if not more so.
@@vamsm Agreed...but the joke wouldn't have been as funny.
@@vamsm Von Miller is the thirteenth apostle.
He played both Jesus and Devil. I just love Jason Sudeikis!
SNL teaches us that Jesus and The Devil are the same person
Lucky Penny I was thinking about that too 😂
Sudekis IS talented. How do you feel about his Creator who gifted him that sense of humor?
That's what I thought...
Greg LaPrade calm down, Greg
"I'm not in everyone's face about it." - ouch
This has GOT to be one of the most consistently hilarious and well-written sketches of all time!
I was going to say the same thing
It’s very tightly written...from start to finish. Sudeikus performance and interaction with players is perfect.
Jason Sudekis' deadpan performance is what really makes it though.
The white socks and Jesus sandles, just hilarious. X
Taran's adoring look at 2:40 hilarious. I was just watching him all the way through, so good!
Taran had commitment, and that was one of the great attributes of this lineup.
"Nah he's doing his best, Dad bless him"😂😂😂
"I gotta catch this cloud" so cute!😂😂😂
"Mormonism - all true, every single word" -- feels like I wanna share this video with the people at my ward... haha
Jason Sudeikis is fantastic, love him!
dad bless him!
"... Read the regular playbook too..."😂😂
Satire always works better when it's close to the truth. Indeed, Tebow would have been more successful if he had spent more time practicing and yes, studying the playbook.
@@saveourrivers I don't follow sports at all, but I'll say "definitely!" to both you and @vmt88 in that there's even a straight-up Biblical Proverb (21.31) saying, "The horse [is] prepared against the day of battle: but safety [is] of the LORD." Trust in Him? Sure, of course. _You still need to do your own work, though,_ yeesh. (Not that some trivial sport needs God's intervention, obviously, as is the hilariously driven-home point of this satire. 👍)
The look on Tebows face after Jesus says “Mormonism - it’s all true, every word. K?” Priceless. This is absolutely the funniest and best work in SNL history. The humor and comedy is off the charts. Genius.
This Mormon loved it.
All true
Thanks to SNL for the shout out. All true!
@@davidfairbourn I am also Mormon!
…and Hitler is in Heaven!
"The Holy Bible is my playbook" sounds like a real thing over the top Christians say
I deed My sister Say that 🙄 sorry god she is a Cowboys fan
Facts
When I played football, I had a coach that said that. We lost a lot so I'm guessing he didn't read the playbook with football plays in it.
And they have.
@esta7763 Maybe alot of Non-believer Athiest were players
"You pray to me? I didn't know that"
"Yeah, yeah, cuz I'm not in everyone's face about it" *looks meaningfully at Tebow*
LOL broke out laughing with the "mormonism" line, dang, caught me by surprise!
“They never say Jesus made me drop the ball.”
- George Carlin
This sketch was done in such good taste.
I love how jason has played both jesus & the devil. and I can't choose which performance was better.
And Zeus
makes ya think...
Yep, Hollywood is influenced by fallen angels so they're pretty clever.
@@fran8926 True! And he makes these characters similar in many ways while not making them lame carbon copies.
He’s just really good at subverting our expectations.
@@Peppersfirst Wrong coast champ.
Jason Sudeikis absolutely nailed this lol, which I am not surprised by he's a master at playing the kinds of roles he does
“Tim’s doing just best, dad bless him” 😂
Interesting to note that while Tebow no longer plays football, Matt Prater holds the record for the longest FG (64 yards) while he was with the Broncos
Hello from the future, Justin Tucker broke this just last week
@@tharinduweerasinghe9007 and in Detroit, not a place that has thinner air like Denver.
How is that interesting?
@@tonymontecino9761 same team
“Who do you play next? The Patriots” oh shit 😂
Always knew that Jesus had a sense of humor when he made Tim Tebow a New York Met, just a few years later.
And now a Jaguar smh
When Jesus sent Peyton to Denver!
Jesus wearing socks is too much for me 😂😂😂😂😂
" Tim's doing his best Dad bless em " 😂😂😂🤣😂😂..
This Jesus clearly needs his own skit!
I KNEW Belichick was related to Satan!!
1:53 "dad bless him"
“That’s because I’m not in everyone’s face about it!” Lol. Truth.
7 years later I'm still laughing 😂
Me too
Sudeikis is a Savior I could embrace!
"Hey, Tim, take it down a notch, okay bro'?"
Jason seems like he's a cool dad who would go skateboarding with you on a mid Sunday instead of going to church
"They'll be coming at you both ways" that line had my dying laughing! I miss this SNL!
This is one of the funniest skits I can remember.
Your sick if yah think that’s funny real sick
brandon smith wtf is wrong with you he was just expressing his thoughts on a comment isn’t that what comments are for without some sorry ass loser talks shit because his life is shit
Underrated skit!! Love this one. Cried laughing to it when I first seen it live 😂😂
Hands down one of the best SNL Sports sketches
This is an all time classic.😂
Tim's doing his best dad bless him 😂
The acting in this skit was so good.
Lol Tim's doing his best, Dad bless him. 😂
There's something else you should probably do, stretch! LMFAO, Sudekis is comedy gold!
*LOVING the Big Lebowski reference omg!!!*
That's a medium joke at best
"Leave some room for the holy ghost" LOLLLL
Highly underrated skit.
Taran Killam might be one of the best actors on SNL ever..and Chris Parnell
Man remember when Tim Tebow was relevant, feels like forever ago
Miss it
cactusjaq XFL lmaoooo
I don't remember him ever being relevant.
Steven Soco she? What are you fucking Arianna Grande
@Steven Soco gods a women now is that why were getting the me too movement😂
Best Jesus impression ever 😂💯
tims helping us win "lol thats cute" hindsight shows the greatness of this sketch
I would bet dollars to donuts that the #1 fan of this skit is none other than Tim Tebow himself!!!
Jesus was unfortunately unavailable that Sunday and couldn’t get to Tim’s call.
The Denver Broncos lost to the New England Patriots *41-23*
Tom Brady, "that God's Nephew"... that's a tall order for Jesus!!!
🤣😆🤪😜😂
I'll forgive Jesus!!!
The Devil wins again!
2:15
When he wanted to choke Jesus, LoLoLoL
I honestly haven't laughed this hard due to a SNL sketch in a long time.
That's not a command .....just a request .... geest sketch..... sportsmen are incredible
Historically great sketch.
I guess this skit will be making a comeback, haha!
how charming tebow looked at jesus...
love it..
Jason is a fantastic Jesus 😂
"Dad bless him" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jesus wears socks with sandals.
give the guy a little credit, at least it's not a crocs
The kicker part 😂😂
Thank You SNL ! Best and most accurate skit ever!
Spoiler alert: The Broncos would loss 23 - 41 to the Pats that next week, and 14 - 40 to the Bills the following one.
A.A. Stormbower
Jesus did say he was going to be busy!
So Did Jesus quit the team for those?
@@-C.S.R He came back for the playoffs after a 3 game losing streak to end the regular season

Jesus needs hemp socks next time. “I’m forgiven.”
"The holy bible is my playbook"
Why did I laugh so hard at this 😭🤣
Mormonism, that's all true haha!
didn't see that one coming
Yeah, but which time?
Every single word
yeah its true
@Jay Caldwell please demonstrate as you said, otherwise I'll assume you to be a not so special kind of idiot
Man I didn’t appreciate Sudeikis until he was gone
don't say that
He still comes back sometimes.
"Not a command just a request" lol
“Dad bless em”😂😂
what's funny is that the Broncos started losing after this skit
Jesus was actually Kenan's complexion in real life.
playaflyJOE27 no he wasn’t he would’ve middle eastern looking
Brendan Adams 😂😂😂😂😂 yeah ok
playaflyJOE27 he was born in the Levant during the time of the Roman Empire, the majority ethnicity there at the time was not black. It’s not even close to any black majority area
Brendan Adams 😂😂😂😂😂😂 ok 😂😂😂😂😂
"Dad bless him," best line ever.
“Dad bless him...” 😂😂😂
that was great haha!!
Now God is going to bail the Jaguars in the fourth quarter.
Jason is just so good in almost any role he's into. Come on, he's JESUS! 😂😂😂
classic material...love it
Tim’s doing his best dad bless him
Great sketch!! LOL!!! When the Pats were at their best!

I think Kevin galifianakis should play a jesus like this is his sandal attire. It'd be hilarious
I don't know why I am keep coming back here😁😂
This was a good one. Missed it first time around.
Jason Sudekis is the best Jesus and also the best Devil
As a Christian I think this is hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
