When John tells him to disrobe and Will's embarrassed and says "I'm so intimidated. Look at your body." There's some really good acting there, which also seems to be coming from a real part of him. That might be why Will never made it bigger than SNL. Show business is brutal. Execs care more about Money than People. Will seems like the total opposite of that. Some people just aren't thick skinned enough for all the pain, rejection, and Douchebaggery that the Hollywood elite subject on artists. @@melissasaint3283 Very interesting. Thanks for the info! Btw you have a wonderful name. I always like to put Saint in front of people's names when they're actually good people and they have names from the Bible. I'm not religious. But in many cases, I've found people named after saints sort of become good people in order to live up to their name.
Brave actors? You gotta be kidding. This is low-hanging fruit at best. Imagine sitting in the writers' room.... "hey I have an idea.... how about something gay".... this is weak.
This is my favorite line delivery of all time on SNL. I randomly remembered « the crawl stroke » this morning and it took me a few minutes to figure out where the sentence came from. Reilly is a genius.
Look at your body! I wanted to laugh, but he does have nice legs...so I just nod along... And Will Forte is amazing, dude almost never broke character...
@@Daniel_Delayne I've seen him broke several times, but most of them just very slightly. I've only witness him seriously broke maybe once or twice. He is AWESOME!!!
For some reason, John has always turned me on. It must be because he's so comfortable in his own skin, and that I love Dad Bods. Will is pretty sexy, too
I love the fact that Greta Andersen, Doug's wife, is not a fictional character. She is a retired Danish swimmer who won a gold medal in the 100 m freestyle event at the 1948 London Summer Olympics. Born in 1927, she is now 88 years and resides in California :0) .

What's strange is that this could easily have been a Gordon Ramsey's HELL'S KITCHEN NIGHTMARES skit where he straps on chef newbies and demonstrates stuffing a turkey, inserting a cooking thermometer, tossing a salad, etc............
Wrong. From an interview by Pam Grady: At Acalanes High School, he was the freshman class president. He was on the football and swim teams. “I was not a great swimmer,” he says with a laugh. (I could not find any information about him being a champion or swimming at UCLA but he did work on the show Adult Swim.)
I loved the premise but I was taken out by the incorrect strokes. Before coming at me realize that I know this is comedy, not actual swim lessons, and thus all mistakes are forgiven.
Word of advice don’t start watching skits you’ll end up staying up all night
Aaah too late
IKR
last time i started it was 6 days ago. i need to sleep zzz
Yup (´⊙ω⊙`)
Nicole Majlat too late for me
Will Forte is so gentle here...so fragile...like a little bird...
He has a more nuanced and sweet masculinity, for sure

and he’s a good singer too.
OMG - two brave actors showing how it's done. Whoever wrote this is a friggin' genius. Wonder how many cast members put their hands up for this role?
How they pulled it of without cracking up was hilarious, no puns intended

Tonight the role of Will Farrell will be played by John C. Reilly
I think they prefer to be called Dragon and Nighthawk.

The characters were too wholesome for this to even feel weird or sexual. He just wants him to succeed
despite adjusting his penis w/the other guy's hand. They were bound, so it's just convenient.
John C Reilly is soooo talented!!!!
Somebody needs to sync up Wreck-It Ralph footage to this dialogue!
Him and Mark Walburg in Boogie Nights ...talented and hilarious
He could be Gordon Ramsey in this.
He has the face.
True
The hair yes
The face form yes
A mustage no
Omg lol
I clicked because i thought ramsay was on snl
I love seeing shirtless SNL guys. I don´t care about their weight. Love 'um.
And tbh Will Forte looks really handsome here.

Will looks genuinely uncomfortable in this sketch, and making him uncomfortable is a feat of its own.
Anyone in his place (literally) would be uncomfortable

No he’s just a pro. He’s the master at making peoples uncomfortable but in a funny way.

im pretty sure they were referring to her on purpose
Danes winning something! Woo!
Would have been so funny if 69 had been her age at time this aired?
They are not married though
Gosh, Will is underratedly handsome.
I like to dry dock it.
I laugh EVERY time I see this skit!

You know it's gonna be a good skit when you start laughing hysterically at the TH-cam thumbnail of the video!
Thank you to TH-cam and SNL for funny clips like these. It's made this pandemic a little more tolerable.

"SHUT THAT car trunk!" lmao
John C Reilly looks like he would be 5'7" and yet he's huge.
John is 6' 2".
"This stroke's gonna be your best friend" got no reaction and it's the best line in this sketch
John C is filming a swimming movie with Denzel Washington in Iceland, due out in February 2021. I wonder if this paved the way for that.

Will Forte was actually a swimming champion in school/ University.

John Johnson dude, why
