Catman you need to pull that wood floor out and put a aluminum sheet floor in with foam under it for extra floatation and sound dampening. Then you'll never have to replace it again and it will be lighter. Can wait to see the rest of the build.

Great idea but foam under it is just sound dampening no extra floatation

Best advice I can give you after 27 years of bowfishing boat building is, keep it simple and easy to work on. If it can break, it will. Your flooring, go with some simple foam insulation with a rubber mat over it, no wood or expensive aluminum. There is plenty of videos on how to do this. Light rail, keep it low and out of the way, I've rebuilt plenty that people in the past either hit while shooting by limb slap or the arrow. And I hope, your main fishing lights are 110v and you'll be getting and generator, then you'll also need a converter for your trolling motor to run it off of the generator (powermax) is a very dependable converter. If you have any questions feel free to contact me, or you can haul it to my fab shop for some work

I like how you just casually have turkeys strutting around you as you go about your day lol

Really like the boat, looking forward to more build videos. I have a 1760 xpress with a 70 yam tiller. That's a great size multipurpose boat. Make sure you read up on pressure treated wood being in direct contact with aluminum. It has been known to cause corrosion. Cypress works well for bunks....

Boat builds can be fun I’ve repainted mine twice, added strip lights marker lights, added flooring and storage out of the benches, casting decks… don’t know if I will ever run out of mods.. good job on yours..

The copper in pressure treated wood reacts with aluminum when it gets wet. It will corrode and eat through the hull of the boat over time
