I have gotten a great deal of joy and pleasure watching these videos. I want to build a boat of my own and and have gotten a lot of inspiration from your tutorials here. Also I love your shop methods! The way you dry fit all pieces to ensure quality work before epoxy/gluing together, perfect sir perfect! Also really appreciate the explanation you provide in these videos, it's helped me clear up some gray areas. Hope you put together more vids in the future. Thank you!
This has been a great video series. Your teaching style & video details are top-notch. I'd like to build a little boat, but I think a slight V hull would ride smoother & track better than a flat bottom. I realize your design goal is for accessing shallow water, but that's not so important in my area. I'm looking forward to seeing what your next design will be. Have you chosen it yet? I need the exact same thing for my 65 17 foot Boston whaler. I use it to crab and duck hunt. Don't need anything fancy just basic console for steering and control's.

Quick question about you building the center console for the new owner. Does it change the boat planing characteristics due to a shift in weight more toward center ?
Why did you find it necessary to use duct tape to secure the dust collection to the track saw? Is it a defect in the track saw? I ask because I am about to buy one.

I used duct tape not to hold the hose on but to hold it up out-of-the-way from catching on the plywood.
what is the deminsion of the center console?
18” wide 23” deep 38” tall
if you can afford anything from festool Im going to assume youve got the kind of money to just go out and buy a new boat lol.

The new motor going on this boat is a 30 hp four stroke. I feel that that is maximum weight for this boat.
