What a beautiful piece of music comes in when tubbs puts on his armani blazer, the music then slowly gets louder to a beautiful sound when sonny tells the man what charges could be brought against him. Jan hammer. Just class.
@greg acosta yes totally agree greg, di marco was a right arrogant ass at the beach club. Tubbs+sonny flipping him was sweet payback. Another good point is the way the Castillo went to cover sonny against shroder in the office at the start. Great eyes from Edward James Olmos. " finished with the files, Get Out" classy.
" What the hell is Jerry doing there? o man this is all coming apart all units move in CODE RED move in!!" and the amazingly beautiful Jan Hammer music to accompany it. Music on this show was always so well timed with the unfolding scene.
The way crocket looks at tubbs at 3.52 is just perfect with the hum of jan hammers tune in the background. And as crocket looks at tubbs as vinny signs, man its the best undercover pair in history at work weaving there net. Just oozes class. Pure genius. To look at this in 1985 and to look whare wee are now in 2022. I know whare i want to be. But i cannot get back thare.
This was Miami Vice at it's peak. I love everything about season 1-2 and if they had stuck with this a couple seasons longer ratings would have remained high for seasons 1-5 and it may have even been extended into a 6th to tie more loose ends.
#Supertron5000.... I agree with you 100%. This little sequence shows so much the character of Miami Vice. When Michael Mann stopped producing MV and Dick Wolf took over the whole show turned into something different.

@TheGatorfan93 The show may have peaked in popularity by the end of season 2 but there were NO bad seasons of the series. It ran exactly as long as it should have and no stupid reunions were held as it should be. And the series stands as one of the best of the 1980's.
