This was the first time in a video game I'd ever seen characters interrupting eachother in a way that sounded completely natural. It makes the scene feel so much more like a real argument. The apology immediately afterwards especially feels true to life.
Roger Craig Smith is such an underrated Batman voice. You really feel like you're watching the same Batman Conroy voices in the other games in this series while he doesn't feel like he's directly copying Conroy.
It sounds like you might be referring to the song "Mirage" by a particular artist, or maybe you're talking about a recurring theme or phrase you're encountering. Could you provide a bit more context?
Mirage, whose real name is Elliott Witt, is one of the most popular characters in Apex Legends. He is known for his witty personality, humorous one-liners, and mastery of deception. His abilities revolve around deploying holographic decoys to confuse enemies, making him a challenging opponent in battle and a valuable asset to his team. Here’s a breakdown of his abilities: Abilities • Passive: Now You See Me Mirage automatically cloaks for five seconds when reviving teammates or while using a Respawn Beacon, helping him stay unnoticed during critical moments. • Tactical: Psyche Out Mirage deploys a holographic decoy that mimics his movements, which can be used to trick enemies into revealing their position or wasting their ammo. • Ultimate: Life of the Party Mirage creates multiple decoys that spread out and mimic his movements, creating chaos and confusion. This allows him to reposition or ambush enemies effectively. Backstory Mirage is the youngest of four brothers and the only one to survive the war. His mother, a brilliant engineer, taught him everything about holographic technology. Elliott used his charm and talent to become the “Holographic Trickster,” eventually joining the Apex Games to showcase his skills and comedic flair. Do you like playing as Mirage, or are you interested in his lore?
@unclelarry8842 okay. So what issue do i need to read that debunks the general idea, "batman is a spoiled rich kid with too much anger"? He's batman, he's rich and was entrusted the Wayne fortune as a child and you look at me and tell me that's not an angry man.
That is fear. That is what I am. That is why they hired assassins, because I am the reason criminals breathe easier when the sun rises. So no Alfred, I am not over my head. But tonight will not be my end, but it will be theirs". This quote alone, embodies all of what Batman is.
I love seeing a younger and more brutal Batman. One who doesn’t fight to bring Gotham hope and save people but to take his anger out for what was taken from him
I like that too, but only if he has character development and realizes he can be a symbol of hope for the innocent, instead of vengeance. That's why I liked The Batman so much, it was the only live action Batman movie to show Bruces true struggles, and how at the end he realised helping innocents would go a lot farther than just beating up random criminals in an alley.
I pity Alfred. Bruce was trained to never show fear, never hesitate and never back down from a confrontation. The boy who left never returned. In all the years Bruce was Batman, night after night this was Alfred's mindset. Put aside by the thought that Mr and Mrs Wayne would be proud.
Always loved this scene because it shows Alfred see’s Bruce as his own Child and after what happened to his Parents in his childhood he’s afraid he’ll lose him to crime.
@@aaronkenyon7112in the movie flash “take it from a old guy who made a lot of mistake” saying pride anger and many other things will be your downfall not the world

There's one scene that's a little like this. When Bruce says "If i can't changes things here, if I can't have an effect, then I don't care what happens to me"
What i loved so much about this is Alfred questioning who Bruce thinks he is. To which, in complete Batman fashion, Bruce has unwavering belief in his own cause and what he is doing. That mixed with his portrayal of anger just establishes this character and his conviction in such a powerful way that avoids exposition
What I actually love about this scene is that both are right, and both are wrong in their own ways. Bruce ISN’T a hardened vigilante, right now he’s in the early years of his career and is getting too big for his britches. He IS the reason why a lot of criminals are becoming too scared to do anything, he’s is vengeance, he is the one who will punish those who hurt the innocent. But ultimately, he IS way over his head. He almost DIES that night from being poisoned cause he thought he was so much better than anything the assassins could be. And of course, Bane figures out who he is, and almost destroys the one thing he has left. Alfred. This game is so underrated. Having Bruce be right and wrong, allowing him to fail and learn from it, adds so much to this take on him.
It's not stated or shown, but I bet Bruce took steps to not be so easily overcome by the likes of Bane or Copperhead in the future. In Asylum, Batman had to be boxed in tight places multiple times to be caught in Scarecrow's fear toxin, plus in Arkham Knight he was infected with the Joker disease. And also Joker cleverly fooled Batman by using the same old fake Joker gag that he's seen so many times he wasn't expecting to see again in Arkham City with everything going on. And in City, only Hugo Strange managed to figure out Batman's identity after making probably quite a big psychological profiling against many, many individuals, who could possibly have the funding for Batman's gear. As I recall, Bane has Batman's tracker in his lair, which he probably used to deduct that Batman and Bruce Wayne are the same, so Bruce probably made steps that all the tech can be lead to nowhere and certainly can't have Coleman Reese sniffing around in the WayneTech archives for Batmobile's schematics. Hell, Batman's not even intimidated by Bane in City, he tells Bane to piss off or he's gonna beat his ass to the ground.
People can say whatever they want about this game but this is an example of good writing Batman and Alfred’s relationship isn’t really good it’s only after Bane nearly kills Alfred that Batman and Alfred’s relationship gets more closer
