OTF Switchblade Motorcycle Key😤

Switchblade Key? Springloaded Key? Automatic Key? idk man that all sounds bad. I'll just call it Jeffrey or sumn
It is a Motorcycle key, it comes OTF and it works like a switchblade and it has a spring, so i guess it's a success.

You can copper plate the aluminium as another option for brass. Thin layer will do just fine and then clear spray it.

Is there anywhere on the internet where you sell/share files for things like the STLs for this project? I know you didn’t like version 3 but I would love to adapt it for my own application if you found that amenable. I have access to CNC myself, but what I’d be interested to do is cnc the parts themselves- like you said, the plastic can’t always provide the kind of strength that this could benefit from. I’d also be interested to adapt the cavity to use the metal piece of the original key, or widen one side to insert a house key!
