As mechanical engineer I loved your presentation. You actually addressed all the issues I have with my current infinity, heavy, somewhat unpredictable trigger response, too big a cup, view on my models, ... I am amazed. I want to get the new 2024 Infinity now!
Some really interesting things have gone into the brush. I expected the kinds of changes to the nozzle and spray pattern but the trigger features are really interesting. Being able to dapple uniform texture with a press is a really cool tool to have at your disposal.
I'm really glad to hear about the rocking feature and hope it works as intended. I have repetitive stress issues and anything that reduces the amount of repetitive motions I have to make is great.
thanks for all the info and a deep dive on the engineering... also for the stats on the feedback you've received. it certainly looks and sounds like a top tier brush so i've put the order in. I've needed an upgrade for a while and hoping this works out...
Nice and glad to hear that they tried to meet the needs of respondents feed back of things they would like in an airbrush. When they designed this airbrush as well as the other 2024 models.
Well that's sold me on it. It pretty hard not to get excited about something that it's creator is so obviously passionate about... and by creator I'm referring to the entire team behind this. I'm very interested to see how it feels compared to my beloved Giraldez version (even though I hated the original trigger on it and replaced it with an evo 24 unit)
@airbrushdungeon I'd have to disagree with you there, I've been airbrushing now for over 50 years and have pretty much used a wide spectrum of airbrushes over that time, I started out (as most did in those days) with Paasche, Thayer and Chandler and Badger gear and particularly liked the Paasche Vjr and AB which I used for decades, like you I had an accident that resulted in serious injury that pushed me out of the custom automotive trade but I kept going just doing small pieces for my own pleasure... I bought an earlier infinity some years back to see if it lived up to the hype and once I'd added the trigger fix pioneered by Rob at Dred FX I found it to be a competent tool but still preferred my Custom Micron for detail work... not because the infinity was a bad brush but I just found it a bit too long in the front and a bit heavy for my tastes. I then had the chance to pick up a second hand Giraldez version for a bargain price and that really went a long way to addressing the things I didn't like so much about the original version. This new one seems at face value to build on what they did with the Giraldez and seems to offer some worthwhile improvements... There will always be an element that will sing the praises of a brand based on nothing more than the prestige they perceive they get from name dropping, but let's be fair here, these guys have put in a lot of work and technology to try to produce a quality product and so far most of the reviews have had favourable things to say about it... is it worth buying just so you can boast that you have one? Clearly not though there will doubtlessly be an element that will do just that... is it worth buying to see if the new technology offers a tangible improvement on what went before? I think so.... that doesn't make it a scam, any more than a car manufacturer bringing out a new model that is an improvement on the previous years model.
@airbrushdungeon I really don't understand why you've had that experience with it to be honest, I've spent many hours working with both of mine and really haven't had anything like that sort of trouble with them and there are a number of guys out there doing awesome work with them with very little criticism other than the issues with the original trigger design. I used Rob's trigger mod on my older infinity using a cut down packing seal from a Paasche VL instead of the H&S seal Rob used as it's made of a more rigid PTFE material which was less prone to wear and that's been working a treat, at least it does for me... the Giraldez trigger is a significant redesign of the whole assembly which solved that whole trigger lag issue. Perhaps you just had the bad luck to draw one that wasn't up to par.
I am so happy to be able to create my own lace with this airbrush! Thank you for the endless inspiration: you are becoming the best leader in the field of airbrushing and life 🫂 incredible ❤️
Very excited by this. Lots of great features, but for myself as a miniatures/scale modelling guy the change to the trigger to allow just the up and down motion is my favourite new feature. If I do pick one up, it may even inspire me to start creating content again (its been many years). I would also be interested in the weight change options. I like to feel a weight in my hand and actually feel disconnected from my work if things are too light. That's not just with airbrushes though, thats everything for me from power tools through to computer mice. Gimmie some heft. Down the line I would love to see you release a blue and gold (yellow) version for Ukraine similar to your pervious releases.
I have to just say thanks so much for explaining that using the second joint in your finger to pull for paint isn't the best way to paint. Man it took maybe a day or two for it to come together but now, incredible, the jump in precision I've had has been pretty sick.
Oh man I'm so glad that helped! I don't know if I explained it well... Actually I think this might be worth a bit of a video in itself... Thanks again! W
I don’t thank you, for I’ve done something I swore I would never do. I preordered something 😅 I’m so looking forward to have the pleasure of testing this marvel 😁😁
This guy is great at selling. I have to old ultra and it’s more than enough for me, super reliable, easy to clean. But I was following the whole video thinking: I need this airbrush!
Hey Marco - honestly, I have no desire to be "good at selling"... my goal is to be great at designing, and then the videos and the content is really only to tell you about what we've done, so that you can decide if it is relevant to you, and if so, then to purchase it and enjoy what we have described. Glad that you're enjoying your old Ultra - it's a great airbrush too! If you're interested in buying something nice for her for accompanying you on your painting journey for so long, then you might enjoy this video too ;-) ... W PS But it's also OK to love her just the way she is! th-cam.com/video/HeFLuYj9LOM/w-d-xo.html
@@harderairbrush I missed that video, thanks for the link! I didn’t want that to come across negatively. I think you have a very authentic love brand. And your videos really get that genuine excitement about H&S airbrushes across. It might not be your intention but I enjoy really well done content marketing as much as the quality product behind it!
The middle component where the tool inserts to loosen it. Could use an arrow to show which way to turn. That small tool can break very easily. Also the quick fix with scale. Notch could be more defined. It can be a little hard to see. Other than that. The Cr plus infinity 2 in 1 I have is unbelievably fantastic.
Very interesting, I'm excited to get my airbrush :) Maybe a suggestion for the future, a closeup camera from above would be very interesting, for when you take these apart and assemble them again
Seems to be a great airbrush and enhanced in so many ways! But even more remarkable is this kind of presentation: clear, concise and very much focused on what all those improvements will result in for the customer/painter. (As beeing in the software business I miss that approach over there) Maybe I've got to add a second Infinity (then the 24) to my stash ;-)
From what I was told, no. The new body has a all new design and why it has its own 0.25mm and 0.44mm setups using the titanium head system. The Evo and Ultra 2024 have 0.28 and 0.45mm setups
Ah man, that little guy. He just wanted get inside that aircap and rub his little legs on that Titanium. I knew he was there, but he didn't want to be any place else :-) !
I can't wait to test it for a review for our magazine. Exactly what was the only thing that bothered me about the previous infinity - slower trigger response, not quite comfortable trigger when working for a long time and the too big cup seems to be gone.... I can't wait...
So I went with the squidmar infinity version (solo) and awesome to hear you get the smaller cup as well .......this airbrush looks freaking amazing , you guys have really gone all out........nice work!!!!
Hey Robert! I was looking forward to hearing from you! All good? Thanks again for being part of it with us buddy. Visit the factory any time you like - standing invitation! Just give us a couple of weeks notice so I can be sure to be there. W
The video we've been holding our breath for! Thanks for the super clear breakdown on features. What does it say about me that I already ordered my brush on Monday before seeing this? 😂😅
What kind of lubricant do you recommend to use on a H&S airbrush? And where to apply it? In particular for the older models not yet having the rifled reservoir feature?
Hi buddy - anywhere you can see the rifling on the new ones is where you would apply lubricant to the equivalent part in any airbrush. Generally, we recommend Iwata Superlube. It's a great product, because it generally does not interfere with paint - quite an unusual property for a lubricant and really rather good for what we use it for! W
We're ready for you when you are buddy. It's not a skill thing. The goal is to make it easier, at whatever your level. Otherwise, what's the point of it... W
I have an Infinity CR Plus, works well. However the new titanium nozzles (AND NEEDLES?) sound very useful. Can they be fitted into my Infinity CR Plus?
Thanks buddy! the Tamiya is easy to use, that's true - you're right. However, with the Vallejo, I actually really like them too, but I would say that you don't want to be using them ever with any less than a 1:1 thinning ratio, with THEIR thinner. I don't bother with the flow improvers and all that fancy stuff. 1:1 works well for general workmanlike stuff, but do experiment up to 5:1 in favour of thinner, depending on what you're looking for. Never be afraid to thin and paint thin coats with finesse and patience. Control over hue is where the beauty is with the airbrush. I believe that the INFINITY 2024 is a big improvement in ease of detailing for anyone, and the people who have beta tested for us bear this out, in every single case. Videos about that will come out soon, I'm sure. Take a look at Dred FX Custom Paint's channel, for example. Hope that helps! W
Thanks for taking the time to answer, Warrick! Just to be clear, when you mentioned that minimum thinning ratio of 1:1, were you referring to Vallejo Model Color, or specifically to Vallejo Model Air (which is already quite a lot thinner)? I'll definitely check out the coming video's! Looking forward to buying and using the Infinity soon!
what componants of this air brush are compatible with the old infinity body? the 3 things Im most interested in for bringing my old brush to be a bit more modern are the trigger, air valve, and the needle nozzle cap set. this will effect which I choose to get. plan is to have the new .25 needle in the new airbrush and if compatible put the .44 in my older infinity.
Will the 2024 FPC valve work with Ultra 2024? I've got quick connector with pressure control ant it makes Ultra 2024 trigger "sticky" (it not always closes on itself).
When the Boss is a designer and an end customer the decisions made by the boss build up on the designing choices to meet the ultimate expectations of the end customer. That is how I see H&S products under the new leadership
Hi Warrick, the new Infinity 2024 look’s absolutely stunning. Bravo 👏 Was there any progress on the replacement Evo body and ‘tool’ to assist me?? Cheers
Hey buddy - my memory is terrible! So sorry - YES - it's finished! Would you mind emailing me again with your address? I'll have it sent out directly on Monday - actually I'm quite excited to share the special tool with you - I think it could help a lot of people! W
I will order mine today Hopefully h&s Will come out with some silent air compressors with a tank for model builders , in mind something to think about in Australia 🇦🇺 we don’t have much choice.
Thanks for the hard work. My INFINITY 2024 CRplus just arrived. I was hoping to find some documentation detailing the functions, parts and maintenance for this airbrush. Nothing came with the tool, is there anything available somewhere on the site or via email?
Do you plan on doing anymore special addition as I missed out on your [Kyiv Infinity Gold Edition] and am wanting something different than the bog standard looking airbrush. My original CRplus is getting old like me and needs replacing after many hours of weathering wagons and locomotives? Thanks in advance.
We have a special edition available now on the site for this month only - this is the Squidmar Special Edition and it has a spectacular look! As for forthcoming Limited Editions - there will be something in the Kyiv line towards the end of the year which will be highly exclusive. Thanks very much for considering us and please keep an eye on the site for that. W
@@harderairbrush Thanks for the reply. I looked on your website to order a Squidmar but there isn't an option for the 2in1 any reason for this? What is the needle in the Squidmar as there is an option to add other needles. I also like the air pressure control feature you have on this too.
Hey buddy - once you reach the checkout you will see an option to add the larger head and cup size to the Squidmar Infinity. Thanks so much for your interest! W
I'm a huge fan, and being here in Japan an hour away from Airtex Osaka, I still order from you guys in Europe. I have 3 Infinity brushes (1 Giraldez), the new Squidmar Evolution and at least 2 or 3 other H&S brushes for basecoats/metallics. I want to order the new 2024, but you guys put out quite a few LIMITED Editions and I am kind of holding out to see what special stuff you've got coming in for the Holiday Season... Any sneak peeks or heads up on what's in the pipeline...?
Hey buddy! Thank you very much for taking the time to write and thanks very much for joining us. We don’t have any specials planned this year. We do have the Squidmar special available right now though - it’s pretty cool - check that out 🤙🏻 but that one is only available through October and then it’s no longer available. Hope that helps! W

What is extraordinary, is the fact that how fluent German people are in speaking English, to the point it feels like they are speaking their native tongue.
Something I've noticed on the Infinity that's on the Evolution 2024 as well is the rubber o-ring at the back remains visible when the handle of the airbrush is tightened. I found this confusing on my Evolution 2024, as the Silverline handle screws right in tight to the mid assembly. But if you do that with the Evolution and tighten the handle over the rubber o-ring, if you don't brace the mid assembly when undoing it, you end up unscrewing the whole mid assembly instead of just the handle because of the friction the o-ring provides which the mid to front assembly doesn't have. And when done up fully tight, the cutouts for the chucking nut sit at an odd angle - neither straight up and down nor side to side. I know that's intentional, but I don't understand it. Should the mid to handle o-ring be exposed when the airbrush is assembled? It seems... a strange choice?
Hey buddy... our videographer missed the last half revolution when tightening up the end piece. You should not see the o-ring... a little oversight on his part, but I didn't want to ask for a reshoot based on that, as I felt that was harsh! My apologies for the small error on that :-) To deal with your specific questions... the Silverline does tighten right up - it's easy as it has no window and therefore can index to any position, and it is acceptable aesthetically. The windows are used by many artists for many reasons, and in my view a must have for a top end unit. But it does mean that you need to have the window index to a correct position... the problem is, some like it 12 and 6 and others like it 9 and 3! So we need to make it so that the window can sit in both positions without a gap. For that reason the 2024 airbrushes went from a thread pitch on the handle of 1.25mm to a pitch of 0.75mm, so that when they are rotated into the other position by a 1/4 turn, the resultant gap is smaller, and much less visible. The thread on the middle piece to the airbrush is a 0.5mm pitch and therefore is more resistant to unscrewing. When the Evo has a good finger tight on the middle piece, it will not unscrew when the end-piece is unscrewed for this reason. So just tighten up your middle piece a touch more on that Evo. The reason why we don't index the end-piece to sit right at 12 o'clock, is because it is a stack up of 4 different thread positions. Now, we can engineer this, as we do control where we start out threads in terms of their circumferential referencing BUT what we cannot control completely precisely is how the chrome will deposit on the ends of the thread starts. Electroplating tends to deposit slightly more on edges and things and therefore when you stack up 4 threads, as these middle pieces do, you can create an error. The worst case error is that the end-piece goes fully tight just short of 12 o'clock. This means that you'd have to unscrew it by almost half a turn in order to create the 12-6 window position on the end-piece, and you'd then have a visible gap, even with the 0.75mm thread pitch there now. So we set that position to around 20 degrees past 12 o'clock, which results in a final position of 10-15 degrees after plating. And THAT is why we use an o-ring as a brake to hold the end-piece position when it is not tightened to the end. So that you can put it in the position that you want with a minimal gap regardless of which position you prefer, and have it stay in the position even through the thread is not bottomed out. Hope that answers your question and gives some insight into the level of consideration that we give to every aspect of our product. Sincerely, Warrick.
@@harderairbrush First, thank you for the incredibly detailed response! I'm not a hardware engineer (but I do write software) so I really appreciate the technical details that explain the thinking and challenges and considerations. It greatly helps to explain why it's like that. Of course, I love the Evo 2024, the feel of it when painting is incredible and it's easily become my go-to after much prior painting with the Silverline and my Iwata. I do wonder, does the fact the o-ring is receiving rotational friction when removing the handle for cleaning and reassembly, mean it's going to wear more quickly than other parts? Or is that not really a concern? Again, thank you for taking the time to respond, I'm really happy with H&S and you do an incredible job of taking care of people, it really shows in the videos and the responses to comments and questions, and of course the products themselves, which are as much hard-working machines as works of art themselves.
PLEASE🙏H&S🙏 Please make it possible to offer this head/nozzle/needle set and the trigger button separately for the "Giraldez"-Infinity. I think I'm not the only one who whish this ! 🙏
Hey Tom - the EVOLUTION 2024 trigger is available now and works really well with the Giraldez if you don't like Angel's trigger system. Search "Harder & Steenbeck 712320" and you'll find them. W
I intended to order with the early email link, but my newborn boy has already out grown one of his bassinets. He’s about to outgrow his Halo bassinet too. He’s not even two months old yet. Anyway, wife says, I gotta order his crib and mattress. I say, that boy better learn to airbrush quick! After I order that, the next order is gonna be the Infinity 2024. Not having anymore kids, lol.
Hi there - that's strange - should not be cancelled - please could you email me personally on wjs@harder-airbrush.de with your order number and I will look into it. Thanks! W
Hi - thanks for asking :-) it really depends on the response to the new airbrush. Of course we will prioritise those who have invested in the new airbrush, so all of our manufacturing of the new parts will go to production to fulfil those orders first, and any spare parts requirements arising from owners of the new airbrush. As soon as we're on top of that demand, we'll release them for owners of the older models. But honestly, I'd be only speculating if I tried to spec that date now. Of course, we will do our very best for you as we always want those who have supported us by owning the older models to never be left out of the progress represented by the new innovations. Hope that answers your question as well as is possible for now. W
@18:30 talking about placing finger at the rear of the trigger and getting just a bit of paint coming out, has there been any noticable speckling? like when I constantly forget to push the trigger forward to cut off paint flow and blow paint out onto my project
No absolutely not. The mechanism prevents this very well. It's unique, and new. Of course, if you PULL it back and just release it, this will happen! But for the small pulses, it is perfect. W

More continuous improvement from a great company, a new Infinity will be on my list - the best just got better 👍💜✌️😊
Thank you Sir! W
Thanks for joining us! Really appreciate it. W
Anzhela to have you paint with our airbrushes is 100% our inspiration. You are incredible... W
@@harderairbrush 🥰🥰🥰

A piece of art, have ordered mine, plan to paint some 1/16 Commonwealth tankers using this airbrush only. No hand brushing.
Great presentation! Titanium air nozzles for evolution would be a welcome option based on what you have conveyed.
Thank you Andrew! They are really amazing to paint with, and even more amazing to drop on the floor - you can just pick it up and get on with it! W

Alles richtig gemacht!Herzlichen Glückwunsch!❤Ich hoffe es gibt genug Teile die ich in meiner alten infinity verbauen kann!
I don’t thank you, for I’ve done something I swore I would never do. I preordered something 😅
I’m so looking forward to have the pleasure of testing this marvel 😁😁
Looks so good 👊
This guy is great at selling.
Really looking forward to getting hold of one of these. Probably won't be until next year, but that's fine
Thank you buddy - awesome - we look forward too! W
I thought that the development of the Airbrush had reached the peak..
Harder n Steenback proves me wrong.
Can't wait to get my hands on it.
I have the new infinity on order can’t wait for it to arrive in Alberta Canada
Thanks so much for joining us Gary! W
Could you do a video demonstrating the oiling process with a nice close up view?
Certainly. Be careful what you wish for!!! ;-) W
I’ve been an Iwata user for decades, this might be the first brush that isn’t Iwata very interesting!
Very interesting, I'm excited to get my airbrush :)
Maybe a suggestion for the future, a closeup camera from above would be very interesting, for when you take these apart and assemble them again
Seems to be a great airbrush and enhanced in so many ways! But even more remarkable is this kind of presentation: clear, concise and very much focused on what all those improvements will result in for the customer/painter. (As beeing in the software business I miss that approach over there)
Maybe I've got to add a second Infinity (then the 24) to my stash ;-)
Thank you buddy. Honestly, it's wonderful to paint with. Thanks for considering. W
Guys, I can't wait any longer. Please ship it.
Ok, for us who purchased the current Infinity CR Plus, can we update ours with the new needles, titanium nozzles, and caps?
From what I was told, no. The new body has a all new design and why it has its own 0.25mm and 0.44mm setups using the titanium head system. The Evo and Ultra 2024 have 0.28 and 0.45mm setups

I wish my artistic creativity and skill was at a level I could justify the expense of one of these beauties.
Very nice explanation! What a beauty.
I often have trouble getting really close (
Thanks buddy! the Tamiya is easy to use, that's true - you're right.
5:1... Warrick, boet, repent and thin no more 🤣
Sorry, bad pun, I couldn't resist... good advice though.🙂
Ah yes, I like Model AIR thinned at 1:1... or more! W
what componants of this air brush are compatible with the old infinity body? the 3 things Im most interested in for bringing my old brush to be a bit more modern are the trigger, air valve, and the needle nozzle cap set. this will effect which I choose to get. plan is to have the new .25 needle in the new airbrush and if compatible put the .44 in my older infinity.
Oh no! I don't have 🔋 in my 📱 & have 12h shift ahead... 😭
Can't wait see Warwick presenting THE thing! Kudos H&S! 🔝
Thanks buddy! W
I can’t wait for mine to arrive. Although I’m now wondering if it’s possible to add an FPC valve to my order
Good things are happening, now that H&S is under the Anest umbrella. Smart idea " stand off detail " with Sharper lines.
Hi Warrick! I ordered the Infinity 2024 CRplus 2in1 yesterday! Do you know the approximate date that the 2024 FPC valve will be available?
It looks like the Squidmar version includes it which is an extra $20 for a really nice looking version. So maybe just grab that!
Will the 2024 FPC valve work with Ultra 2024? I've got quick connector with pressure control ant it makes Ultra 2024 trigger "sticky" (it not always closes on itself).

My apologies for the small error on that :-)
To deal with your specific questions... the Silverline does tighten right up - it's easy as it has no window and therefore can index to any position, and it is acceptable aesthetically.

I ordered one on Oct 19th It still has not shipped. Any idea when these are shipping ?
Do you have an expected timeframe for the release of upgrade parts for current infinity owners?
@@harderairbrush thank you, appreciate the info and will keep my eyes peeled for a future update.
