Did your Royal kludge come with Cherry switches? It lists OEM switches when I search it

Best compact lay compared to a full 104 keys? 98 Keys or 96 Keys? I have no idea😂

My only concern is the F row being next to the numbers. Do you miss press often?
Considering between this one and RK98.

Yes, that's the major problem for recent convert. Tho, I don't use this keyboard, I use KG972W which also 98% form factor.
My muscle memory keep on telling me : if there's no gap, it's not the F rows.

I bought this a few weeks ago. I like it overall but since I use it from my couch in my living room and game on a big screen TV, I have it on my lap or chest while typing, and the keys/switches can be a bit pingy. I'm going to try lubing the springs/switches with a more premium grease to see if that helps. This spring ping is annoying AF but much less noticeable if you have the KB on a solid surface.
Anyone here have additional advice on how to remove spring ping in the RK96? I don't want to use O-rings. I really like the RK96's battery life compared to my old RK68. I get about 2 weeks on a single charge. Wish it was RGB tho.

Try out the Akko CS switches. Many options come pre-lubed, sound great, and are cheaaaaaaaap for pre lubed. Love their stuff

@@keaton1048 I bought the Gateron Pro V2 yellow switches. Pre-lubed and no spring ping. Paid $19 for 110 of them.
