There are two groups of EUC people - those who love lightweight, convenient, affordable small devices - and those who love crippled one-wheeled motorcycles. Sadly, there weren't any new EUCs for the first group for years... Best wheels for them still ks14d, ks16s, ks18l/xl, or V8f/s. Lightweight EUCs are almost dead, and every new overweight model just adds nails to the coffin.
I would like to have a new ks16s... with all that is currently modern. Smart BMS, a little more power and maybe a suspension... all within the size and weight of the KS16s. I use buses, metro and I use stairs. I need a light and small equipment. I agree with you!

@@Stradth “maybe suspension” - that’s the thing which kills reliability. Need maintenance, hard to repair, adds at the very least 5 kg of weight, and god knows how much to the price.
Every wheel has it’s own niche, so there’s no need to take ks16s (for example) and make it 20 kmh faster and 10 kg heavier, it would be totally different niche.
But it could be modernised, with new inner shell and 16x2.5’’ tire. Just like ks14d. 2.125’’ tires should be banned in 2023
I love my s18 for how light and nimble it is. And it is compact enough to not get kicked out of restaurants.
Intended for non-hooligan riders, I think it suffices if it rides well in the mid 20mph/40kph range. Light gear + running errands + meet up for dinner without looking like you're cosplaying Madmax. I like it.
Probably fits 80% of the riders.
But we all think we are the 1% top rider who needs bleeding edge tech
Compared to the S18 -> WEIGHT: its a lot heavier (73lbs vs 48lbs) SPEED: it has the same top speed (31mph), SUSPENSION: Less travel suspension (88mm vs 100mm), MOTOR: stronger motor (2800W vs 2200W), BATTERY: bigger (1480Wh vs 1100Wh), RANGE: better (80 miles vs 50 miles).
So you get better range and a stronger motor at the cost of a much heavier wheel with slightly less suspension travel.
I think the S18 stock shock has a piston travel of 57mm. Is the real suspension travel really 100mm?
The S16 2800 motor with the same top speed should mean that it has more torque then the S18. And with the smaller diameter it will be even more.
So the S16 seems designed to be zippy, have torque and not a high speed racer. That is fine. There are already many wheels for high speeds.
Only thing is I hoped for a higher voltage.
Another epic failure from kingsong. So disappointing
I just wish kingsong made an S16 as a lighter version of the S18.
Ideally, it would be:
- around 18/20 Kg
- top speed of 45 km/h
- range of 40/50 km (98% of my days are below 25km of riding)
- suspended.
- same trolley as the S18 (the best in the market for me)
If so, I would buy an S22 pro for medium distances ( more than 10 km, about 20% of my travels) and an S16 for groceries, going out with friends at the bar next to my place (80% of my travels).
It's so sad that they made this wheel instead.
Ps: I own a S18, a 18XL, and a V5s. I am just waiting for a suspended intermediate between the S18 and the V5 in terms of weight and speed.
84 v means a much longer distance for the same wh.... we do not need 100 or 134 v .... This wheel seems well born. Let us wait tests....

Is the usb-c a usb pd? With 100w, 5a so i can power other items? Since this is basicly a powerbank on wheels you might want to consider more powerbank features
Um, 73lbs? I have an S18 and a Begode Master. Both have their advantages, but when it comes to casual fun riding, I pick the lighter S18 almost every time and have vowed not to buy another wheel over 50lbs again. I'm still waiting for the successor to the S18 that improves on it without adding to the weight. It lacks a bit in range and power, but it's still a damn fun wheel. I'll keep waiting...
A lot of riders’ve said they prefer the balance of the trolley handle in the center, the s16 has it in the front. What thoughts on that?
was there talks of improving the s18? myeWheel made a video about the protoType, but i guess KS doesnt bother with it and released the s19 instead.
Why would a 16” wheel (s16) weigh the same as a 19” wheel (s19)?

In Korea, it is mainly light in weight, such as 16x. I want a good weight for valet work. 30kg is a lot heavy.
The s16 also limits the speed to 50% battery life as is the king song tradition???
Moderate weight like King Song 16x. Put it in the car trunk. It was obvious. If the S16 comes out with a comfortable weight of 29kg, many domestic customers will like it.
in this video did the authors report weight? the comments say 33kg, but it's not clear at what second.

It’s like you guys don’t listen to your customers at all. I haven’t had a wheel go this slow since 2018. It don’t have to go 60mph but cmon. This wheel looks sick too. But that top speed is not enough to comfortably city ride on the street.
The original intention of this euc is not high speed, but comprehensive features, and affordable price (for anyone want to buy a suspension wheel).

where's your mten4 competitor? im not going to buy a new wheel until one comes out that is actually convenient for city riding. make something small, light, thin and maybe with suspension if possible and you'd have a new customer instantly. i get for some people euc are a sport, but i just want something that can get me places public transport cant.

84v wow not 100v at least but be affordable so whats price cheap 1400 id pay in uk pounds with tax included anything more no thanks keep it i cant beleive at xmas i saved up all year for a new s22 for xmas and then a week after xmas into the new year yous announce s22 pro others got new motors and sliders i got shit now and now s19 and s16 wtf feel robbed stuck with a old s22 were its makes bad noises when braking feel like i just give up on eucs that are getting build too fast id should just do a wheel a year and look after your old customers with wheels that are ready to brake or have broken n stuck with a broken wheel if yous send me a s16 to test and send bk or to other utubers in uk id be happy to test it out n show north of uk what these things can do when they looks stylistlike this wheel its deffo eye candy hope its wallet candy too and water proof lets see yous ride it in a river like begode but dont rate it because you will have people try it but alwasy good to know it can do it or if ya in wet uk gunna survive a rain storm lol

@@eucmike yer should be fine for new riders for sure and standard riding be a good wheel especially if price point is going to be one of the cheapest 16” wheels with suspension and rgb and speakers it’s a perfect first wheel or a glamorous wheel to show off on night rights and light off-roading can’t wait to see it getting tested and daily riding see how it holds up as I’m after a 16” suspension wheel and inmotion have the adventure 16” off-roading wheel so I’m stuck between them two for my next winter wheel but had to have best warter rating for me to buy
