Can we see things from open stances, too? Even just one out of every four.
Feels like there are a lot more bistansual fighters than before.
Even when the things you show aren't new to me, I still pick up subtle game changing details.

Do all of these have the same effectiveness against a southpaw? 🤔

I thought I understood the question until I saw your response... Could you please explain your meaning to me, like I'm a middle-aged parent suffering from low-level exhaustion?

The most important thing in the open stance is dominating their jab. The most common theme will be lead hand control. You can parry with the lead arm, you can use your lead wedge to defend the jab as they close distance. The lead wedge blocj/deflect can defend either of their straight punches. When coach joe talks about about slipping and throwing the body, instead the slip your head to the outside and split his jab with your 2. He is in a closed stance ortho vs ortho and he his head inside and jabs. This will change your head slot into the lane for their 2.

Great! I have a question, why do you block his jab with your lead elbow? Seems like you open up your body to their power side, or is it better to have your cross ready? How do you reason?

This content is free, people. Seems like a set of skills that, if mastered, would catapult you into expert status. Compare that to the random "i saw this one time" type of instruction.
Also BJV is a big guy himself. Training partner here must be huge because he makes BJV look small.
