    Chad is the man, and your tshirts are one of the more comfortable that ive worn but for some reason the midsection got tight lol. I have the 2"kit you guys sell and i dig it. Ive started doing more wheeling with my frontier since i got a commuter car for work and realistically a 4" kit would be perfect if you guys could come up with it. I dig the idea of the titan swap the big killer to me is the wheel track. Wide front narrow rear.

    I've got a semi stock 2012 pro 4x and I love it offroad only issue I've had was the transmissions. I've had 3 in mine, warranty covered the 3rd one due to faulty install from mechanic on the 2nd, when they installed the 2nd tranny there was a pressure plate or something misaligned so when I put it into drive it took up to 10 seconds for the transmission to build enough pressure to actually engage drive which would lead to a huge spike in pressure like a cavitation on a boat causing the truck to almost do a wheelie from the force, needless to say the shop replaced the 2nd transmission and got another new transmission. 2 years later no problems at all this truck is one of my favorite vehicles I've owned its fast light and nimble on these AZ roads with tons of switchbacks and gravel roads, never been stuck once other than burning out the transmission that 1 time, but i was pulling my 19 foot trailer into an area id never been and shouldnt have taken a traiker too!! but since that incident I installed a trans cooler and haven't had a single problem. Brakes are something to upgrade because their brakes are terrible. Great trucks if you can get one that hasn't been beat up. Mines beat up but it's because I use it like it should be used, I won't sell it!!

    Interesting to see... Out west we cut off the the coil buckets and weld on brackets so we can install any coil overs.
    Spring weights make a big difference and valving. Out here custom one are 150.00 for a set. We're either rock crawling or high speed pre runner builds out here.

    I'd suggest extended rear brake lines because having a little slack in the line will allow a log to pass your line by rather than hit it and have no slack or movement to pivot/deform. Because I've done just that. Log popped my brake line right off.

    Thank you very much for the information. The information is invaluable. I do have a few questions I hope you'll be able to help me with. So i'm from Trinidad and Tobago and the Nissan Frontier is a common truck here. I myself have the 4x4 version. I've never heard about anyone here doing a Titan swap here. Is the swap recommended for someone who doesn't mainly off-road? What upgrades would you recommend that would improve on road for the vehicle as it's primary function but functional on the off road? The information you gave I extremely appreciate. Thanks

    Hmmm. I really enjoyed this overview. I’m about to start sourcing my own titan swap parts myself to get the ball rolling.i have a 2nd gen ‘11 Xterra and I know Frontier and X’s share almost the exact same chassis and the biggest difference between them is the leaf packs, but I was curious about your part in the rear extended brake lines. Since we have similar chassis, do you think I’d need extended rear brake lines when I want the lift to stay within 3”-3.5” of lift in the front or rear? My X is entirely road use right now as it’s my daily until I get me a lil 4 banger to daily but I just wanted to get your opinion on maybe leaving rear extended brake lines stock for an Xterra vs just getting 18’s or 20. Great video again man! Really love the companies connection and interaction in the community! Super helpful!

    heres an interesting question... with just the titan swap, how much has your fuel economy decreased? im wondering if the potentially heavier components and somewhat change in aerodynamics (because of the lift), has the fuel economy decreased a ton.

    • @AlldogsOffroadCoop
      @AlldogsOffroadCoop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it really depends on your tire choice. tires effect your mileage more than a lift will. Chad's 3rd gen only lost a couple MPG's with his titan swap, whereas Kyle's 2nd gen has lost 3-4 because of tire choice
