    awesome video, very educational. Am considering doing a full titan swap, that is both diffs and engine w/transmission which am hoping the new 9 speed will fit. would like to run 37s and with bumpers and gear I figured I upgrade everything so the added weight doesnt eat up the power or fuel and break my now 10 yr old diffs and axles.

    Very helpful videos! Good thing i saw your channel. Hope you can see this comment. I do have a question in doing a titan swap in an np300 d25 navara... I am currently on fox2.0 coilovers. Are they compatible with the swap or do i need to get radflos? P.s. I am not aiming to increase ride height, just the track width... Thank you and keep it up! This really helps ALOT!

  • @anthonylimjoco5958
    @anthonylimjoco5958 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can get more travel cutting off the coil bucket. It's pretty standard tossing the coil bucket over here in Cali.
    I'm more into the titan's... Did a coilovers and bypass shock on the titan.
    Now gonna do a custom frontier using some of the stock titan stuff.
    Nissan usually sticks to a 2:1 suspension travel. If I had to guess shock travel is 5" giving wheel travel of 10"
    Meaning if you cut off the coil bucket and weld a new mount point with 3" of more LCA... I think you'll be at 14" of travel. That's equal to a stock ford raptor Numbers

    Originally saw the Ry video about changing out the leaf springs. Liking the idea of the extra lift from the BROverland pack and adding a 2" lift. Also like the idea of adding Bilstein's for increased performance on the road in Denver alone. I don't do much off-roading, but there's an incentive to do more right there! Now that I've looked into what a Titan swap actually is, having seen the term on your site, I'm thinking that one may be in order. Even if it is just for S&G's. I'm going to have to do everything in stages, but if I get the original leaf and general suspension work done, throwing in a space on the rear tires, I can then set myself up for the front end work after acquiring all parts, especially since I've been considering doing front end work to my X anyway. Might as well swap.

    Awesome and motivation video.
    Is there a better upgrade than mounting an M205 on the front for the Frontier's?
    From what I read while it is much louder than R180 with stroger CV's , but it is not so durable that it does not break with 35 tires.
    For me who live in Greece is an expensive conversion is it worth it?
    I have one Nissan Navara D40 3.0lt v6 Dci auto with 280hp and 58 kgf·m (419,51 ft·lb) .
    I am run 35's tires and I have 4.10 nitro gears and front ARB locker on R180.

    Don't forget about the axle varieties. Rugged Rocks or Qx56 w/r180 vs Titan w/m205. Only one gear ratio matches m205, Titan big tow + auto off road/p4x =3.36. Also the hub differences with the Titan vs frontier spindles.

And I had no idea a Titan was even a thing until a couple of years ago when they started getting imported here brand new but the looked like Nissan’s answer to a 2500 Silverado but powered with a v8 Cummins. These titans look too big to be bolting componentry straight into a Frontier/Navara

      you need a specific length coilover for this kit. you can add a titan swap to a drop bracket lift but it requires special order suspension to fit.

      it's not ideal. the factory titan uca does not allow for the extended travel of a titan swap. also you can't just swap arms. it has to be an all or none decision.
