You're funny and entertaining! I also have this set and play it as my primary kit. I agree with your assessment.
Cheers David sounds good and easy to carry
Gotta love them Breakbeats by Questlove ✌🏼❤️
I love this video. Thanks for the demo. Like and subscribed
Ah thanks Greg!
Love this little kit. Picked one up used locally for 300 bucks and it's my first real matching drum kit. Its a perfect funky apartment kit for me, and I have no doubt that it would do great with a band as well. I was playing a converted floor tom kick previously and this is much much more of a "real" bass drum imo. Sturdy shell and the mount handles the rack Tom and a cymbal arm with no problems. Good video btw.
Sounding beautiful
Thx Karen
Nice video....I agree you can't leave the beater on the head.
SUBSCRIBED!
Thx for the sub. Old habits are hard to break!
man it's great, mm should the rings be wooden or metal?
it'd be nice to have a comparison of the Break Beats 2022 versus the original Pocket Kit
Yes. I’ve not seen the pocket kit I imagined it was really small, not sure why.
Great sound!! How did you get that perfect tuning on the snare?
It’s really just out of the box with a some tape on the top head !
Would this be decent for a beginner first kit? Seems quite portable and build quality I’ll take your word for it.. plus Ringo played Ludwig’s. This kit will fit in my car trunk, um..boot too
I think it would be an ideal starter kit. I’ve ended up using the kit so much, for practice and gigs around town and recording. Yamaha do some really lightweight stands. I can’t fault this kit so far.
i didnt know Jonney ROTTEN played drums
😂
It's all about the smell, really.
I was told the lugs on the Breakbeats are Chinese junk !!!...And that tuning property was a nightmare to go with Gretsch Catalinas !!!
I haven't had that problem and I've never played the Gretsch, I have heard that they're good though.
