The “I’ll be back” never fails 🤣
Lot of work for one guy, Then the footage work, We all should give him as many 👍 up as possible. Shows how to repair on a budget to get our old rides going again without going bankrupt
A ton of work! It’s great!
Thanks
I like how you explain exactly what steps you're going to take to accomplish what. The El caminos are coming along nicely. Keep up the great work and the awesome videos 👍✌️🇺🇲
Never miss one look forward to them your the reel feel good video. Lee
Thanks
Great job on the El Camino beds
Thanks
Doing it nice good job love how you doing it as cheap and still doing things the way a lot of people has to do not all people can just go buy this and that and that keep doing it
Project Farm has 2 videos on bedliner comparisons if that might help you for next time you need some. Enjoy what you do.
Love your videos, great work saving tons of money. If someone wants a showroom car, be prepared to spend a lot of money on it. I would love to have a mint condition El Camino, inside and out, but I prefer a vehicle the way that Lee does it, cost effective and reasonable!
Thanks
Good video,I like how you split the work up with the other El Camino and even buying future projects...It's a neat break from the long hard work of the white SS and now its actually great to watch you back on the SS...Hope it all goes well..
Thanks
Awesome.!!!! 🔩🔧🔩🔧🔩🔧🔩🔧🔩🔧🔩🔧🔩🔧🔩🔧🔩🔧
Lee is a f'ing legend.... 👍🇺🇸
That rust away is exactly like corroseal and it works really well. I buy corroseal by the gallon
Back in the late 70's and 80's Chevrolet and Ford was powder Coating the hoods, roofs, inside the beds with zinc oxide before painting and that's why most of the paint pills off
These white 'rust converter' paints have been around for about 20 years and they're available under a lot of different names, all with the same basic formula. IIRC they're not technically paints at all, but chemicals that react with the rust and 'neutralize' it, rather than just paint a layer over the top. I've always had good results from it.
Sweet!!!❤❤❤❤
Great video Lee, keep em coming, Love what you do mate! top Job
Thanks
Permatex makes a rust converter product just like the one you used. Same white liquid that turns a rusty surface black. A small bottle runs $15 for 8 Oz jar. Also comes in 16oz size. You can get it in a white liquid or a gel. I buy it at NAPA. A 8 oz jar of liquid lasts quite a while if i don’t get sloppy with it. Covers and reacts just like the product you got for free and were using. I sand the treated areas down and finish or apply a paintable product like Eastwood rust encapsulator. You like the pricey POR product I know. I like Eastwood which I buy in a quart size and apply with a paint gun after I cut it with a cheap reducer.
lots of products out there
for spray in bedliner i love using raptor liner kits 140 and u get 4 bottles the attivator and the spray gun turns out great
Nice work! Looking forward to better lighting and the door pin fix. Thanks Lee
Thanks
On my 80 elcamino i filled both the windshield channel and the rear window channel with silicone before I reinstall the trims so dirt and moisture doesn't collect and rust again
Outstanding work. I love it👍💯they are looking great💯
Thanks
rustoleum turbo doing great
Great video also thanks for the info on the carburetor
Thanks
dont be mean to the cats please do love your work
I would lightly tint the windows on the black car once its repainted ! Keep up the good work , really enjoying watching the cars come along. My friend that painted cars used Rust Mort i think it was on the rust.
I think I will eventually tint the windows
You might give SEM a try. Their VOC LINE has a multitude of rust neutralizers & sealers. Part #s 39304, 39308 & 69504 come to mind. Amazon & O'Reilly's carry SEM. Rust-Oleum Flat Black Rust Reformer is an aerosol spray that works great IMHO. If you have a Menards, they carry it for less $$ than Home Depot or Wally World.
U-pol Raptor liner is really good bedliner. It is a 2 part system with a hardener you add when ready to spray. You can also buy a tintable version that you just add some of your base coat to. I sprayed it in my work truck several years ago and it has held up great. It also goes on really even and thick and covers up alot of imperfections. It is a litlle pricey though, but one kit will do both of those cars with 2 coats.
pricey is the problem
If you had the extra money another carport infront of your third garage door and you could park that camper on one side of it for a make shift wall and get all that crap that on the floor of your garage put up . That old camper gutted would have made a perfect storage unit .
I have 2 mobile homes for storage
Hood scoop could reduce the value on the white SS
Not sure if you already answered and I missed it....would any of the Malibu hoods work on that and are any of them in a usable condition?
no
Does the spray bed liner work better than the roll on type?
The roll on stuff is better, spray goes too fast
Amazon sells the rust away
If. You could. Just. Touch up. The. Dical those. New. One. S. Look. Like. D.og. Asp
chinese sellers are ok generally
😢 Stupid color makes 41 similar to it's called dupe color rest fixed it doesn't stop it completely but it darned to slow it down to a slowcal at least
To this day I still don’t understand why you order crap from evil bay when rock auto exists??
ebay is cheapest due to competition from a number of sellers selling the same thing
Old smoke
Lot of rambling an smoking on all your videos bla bla bla
