Part it out i say. Those wheels cleaned up would look good on the 81 Truck you just painted if you want a more stock look. Swapping out the old tires of course.

I worked at a Chevy dealership in the 80s and explorer was a top of the line conversion. We sold them for close to 40k. Great find.

I love vans. Been restoring a 73 Dodge shorty and gave it a custom paint job. Vans are becoming more popular because they are affordable rear wheel drive V8s. But they aren’t your cup of tea, so I would probably part that one out and keep the 350 around for a future project. The interior needs a lot of work. Sounds like the 350 will run just fine. The middle buckets look nice and they are worth $100 each where I live. They would go great in my van but it’s too far to drive to get them. I would advertise it and part it out if you can’t sell it for more than $650. There is some money to be made there.
I like that the codes is easy to tell what size engine in TBI . Driver side says 5.0L or 5.7L
The most common issue was an easy fix. The connection between the fuse box and engine harness would corrode. The engine will crank but won't run. Check that first.
New to your channel… grew up in Norman.. have my 81 SWB 250 3 speed Silverado unicorn I bought new at 16…. Love to see all the 81 content plus the rest!

I like those day vans and that looks rust free so if it runs and drives and the transmission is good it's worth doing up I think.
Good morning from Cape Cod 🦈 those vans are worth good money here in New England, there are none because they rust to hell. I personally hate hate hate hate vans with a passion, pain in the freaking ass to work on. In that condition is worth two to three thousand without even touching it here. You know what you're doing, you'll make money one way or the other. Keep up the good work Lee 👍✌️🇺🇲

at least big vans are better than minivans aka soccer mom wagon because the full size oldies vans were like a bedroom on wheels that people put in waterbeds in the back a table in the center with a mini fridge and a closet and a sink on the side and those vans had a graphic mural on the side panel with bubble windows and shaggy carpet on the floor and they went to the show call VanStock a car show like woodstock for big custom vans.

The other day I was seeing how a bunch of TH-camrs are going to a car show in Texas and I realized that I don't know what your name is. You might do a little better on here if you promoted yourself more. I like that you aren't constantly selling merchandise and begging people to like and subscribe, but these other guys do it because it works. I know it costs money to go to those car shows but there's a lot of cross promotion going on. I discovered a few new people to watch that way.
I went to Hot Rod Power Tour the last 2 years, didn't help much subscriber wise.
The van looks pretty much rust free to bad it's not worth it for you.I'm driving an 84 right now what a pig but I get all kinds of thumbs up and people wanting to talk about it.Remember back in the day if you had that with a sick mural you where it.

If it runs and drives theirs a market for these kids who like to convert them to live and travel in . Get 15/16 hundred running and driving and let them worry about the title .

20 series is a heavy duty chassis. A G10 is light duty
true g10 is a modern day 1500/half ton..g 20 is a modern day 25003/4 ton and g30 is a modern day 3500 one tone..

Unfortunately guys, it's not worth the time and effort or money for Lee to spend on this van. He's not gonna make the money on TH-cam to cover his expenses. Sadly the channels that are bullshitters and never finish anything are the the ones that make big money. For whatever reason the majority must like rust and junk, enjoy bullshit. I enjoy this this channel because Lee seems to be a straight shooter which is rare today and he's showing people you can have nice painted vehicles for a reasonable amount of money and work! Just my opinion though!!

That what that guy was doing camping from it fish for dinner work on it sell it to a camper person and do a retro paint job 3 color paint better yet call some race car guy will buy to transport every one to track for weekend there some idea do custom paint to match trailer

Looks like you junked a bunch of cars. I would be shocked if the transmission is good in the Nissan. You are correct about the van, no one wants to pay shit, it's a shame that's a good one, not worth the effort!

unless it a rebuild not able not rust or gum up i do a removeable till get one or have one thats cheap plus un body undercoat cheap i used roof tar coatings plus get hold for beer money they write bill sale exauter of the estate sign and notirized usally law office so its cheap just postage unless you work with tow company they can do it fr you

If the interior cleans up it could be worth a few grand. Or two grand as a work van. Some young guy starting a business might need something like that. I'm here for the classics more than the clunkers, but if you can get it running and yard driving in one day for no money... Otherwise you'd make more money at a fast food place. No point spending a month fixing it and painting it to make 800 dollars.

Those transmissions are junk. Check on google they've had many of lawsuits against nissan for their c v t transmissions. I guarantee that's why they parked it because of the transmission.You're better off to sell the parts as you probably already know
