This is why you don't mess with people. Just looking at him, I never would have guessed he could defend himself like that. I need to learn this. Great video!!
Emil Martirossian like your videos but to be honest you need more training no offense I train in wushu krav magna and tai chi black belts in all 3 your punches are nice just the kicks aren't very accurate and slow but don't hate my comment I love your videos😎😎
@@camerononeil9339 krav maga is ineffective, Hollywood film set nonsense, and tai chi is just an internal health exercise. Way to make a Wally of yourself kid.
Those were very good techniques and is definitely a form I would love to practice. You demonstrated the use of quick hands and I can tell you have practiced this martial art for years. Again good job brother and may God bless you.
This is quite amazing. I'm a security guard and I train in boxing, muay thai, taekwondo, wrestling, and a bit wing chun. I got to say that the Security Academy should teach this kind of stuff to their securities. Nice video, keep them coming :D
Wow this guy is impressively fast.! But it seems to me that he's doing to much blocking and moving his arms all over the place, remember jeet kune do is all about simplicity, not about blocking a punch, but stopping it before a fist is even made.
This guy is very good martial artist. My comment or observation is just that 90% of this is wing chun kuen. The 10% flashy kicks and jujitsu are only used as finishing moves after the wing chun has pummeled the opponent. Which kind of makes them seem redundant.
INCREDIBLE, I HAVE LEARNED A LOT JUST WATCHING HIM, FANTASTIC, THIS MUST HAVE BEEN HOW BRUCE LEE WAS IN PERSON,,I DONT KNOW IF HE HAS A TRAINING COURSE ON DVD BUT HE SHOULD,,THIS IS NO BULLSHIT FIGHTING THAT WORKS,,
Such an impressive combination of speed, strength and precision. At the moment I practice pukulan betawi (a rare form of silat) and I've always wanted to learn jeet kune do. If I get a chance to visit the UK again I'd really like to at least attend a seminar or maybe even train for a while. My compliments sir!
Im more impressed every time i see your trapping skills!! Im not a high kicker any more, more low line kicks for me but i've got to give you props on your kicking skill also. A perfect combination of hands and feet. Like 50/50
This reminds me of early ufc, when videos of fighters were shown at opening and what style they represent .Theres had been a ninjas and Bruce lee enthusiasts demostrate stuff like this, and when fight starts they get bucherd so hard that becomes sad to watch.
This looks nice, but personally i Would not step into the cage with this thing, wich some actor developed . Bruce lee was movie icon, just like rocky and thats fine.
those are really nice and impressive in a controlled environment... but i'd like to see how those moves hold up during actual encounters... i'm not by any means calling you out... i just would like to see how they hold up against actually brawlers and unpredictable fighters... nice vid btw
I love chinese martial arts, i love wing chun and jeet kune do. i have learn it about 2 years. But i see something difference when the Sifu moving attack. The Video Editor is using speed up between 1.15 and 1.35 ... And i see the sifu acceleration is get cut a little before he's hitting the opponent. I know because have i learn Video editing 4 Year... So, in this video the Sifu movement is real BUT the speed is fake a little :)
as a jkd practitioner of three years, I must commemorate him on his speed. Like others have said before, although you seem very proficient at high kicks, I would keep everything lower to maintain your speed.. your trapping skills are phenom
I only know self taught boxing not very good at it a bit of tae kwon doe and also again self taught muay thai I only do this to defend my self but I really want o learn this for protecting not only myself but to protect others. Also nice video this is really educational I like the speed you give. If only I can be as good as you in the future my friend. :)
I'd love to do JKD. That instructor looks super fast and efficient. He has enough experience to where he can actually use it in a real situation. There are too many people on TH-cam that think that a fight will occur like a Matrix scene. Fast and accurate.
not bad, i do wing chun and most of the times i'm not a real big fan of Jeet Kune Do, except when i see Dan Inosanto or Tommy Carruthers doing it, but i must say u do it well ^^
Have you got on vids of you actually intercepting? You seem to be starting in trapping range witch means you can't intercept witch is what jkd is about cheers
Where did u learn this? Your speed is amazing, not to mention your timing and precision, you remind me of the late Bruce Lee. Are you teaching this stuff?
You would be surprised at how much easier it is for little guys to manipulate bigger opponents as long as you see that you have all the advantages in your favor, as well as being fearless. But in reality, bigger guys have to throw much more weight around so locking their arms up and whatnot is much easier than fighting someone smaller than you. That is my opinion, but in battle, the more advantages you think you have, the better chance you have at winning. Aside from chance talk, there us such thing as controlling victory by knowing both yourself and the enemy, you can basically act as the enemy's master of fate. Although, to be defeated means that you are defeated mentally, so in reality, a challenge or sparring match is essentially a test of an individual's mental resolve. Physical is important but mental attitude is far more.
I am interested in learning jeet kune do, but not sure if there are any schools nearby where i can go to learn jeet kune do, i trained in jiu jitsu for 8 month, but would'nt mind giving jeet kune do a try. any feedback would be good.
I love how he doesn't go into long drawn out diatribes about how 'this and that will or won't work' like that asshole from rogue warriors I love Emil I would be his lifelong student if he lived on the west coast!
remember guys its just a demo he wont do half this in a real fight but its repitious so it starts to Flow more ever time he practice with his students he wont get half those off but the ones he does will be Deadly trust me this cat is lethal
Poor kid was just standing there get punches. Dude, in the real street fight, nobody gonna stand there doing nothing. When you were doing ur massage style, just one punch on ur cheek would make you fall asleep. Be real.
guy is pretty sick. well rounded, fast and powerfull for his size. xhexagon must not be a fan of athleticism, innovation, intelligence and great fighters if hes not a fan of bruce lee. Why does he bring up hongkong. bruce lee was born in san francisco actually. he mastered wing chun but was smart enough to realize that most all martial arts are limited or have wholes in them if you are fighting for your life and he teamed up with inosanto and incorporated a lot of elements of kali and more
This is why you don't mess with people. Just looking at him, I never would have guessed he could defend himself like that. I need to learn this. Great video!!
Thank you my friend, years of hard training and dedication.

Avoid this JKD scammer. This is not JKD.
AMAZING JKD! I know how long it takes to get this good. Very nice man.

Do you have any videos on steps to do trapping with hands ?

Thanks matey training very hard :)
I would really love to see this in an UFC fight. Really fantastic!!
Tommy Carruthers and Emil Martirossian. Two of the greatest JKD teachers and they both come from the UK.
Im more impressed every time i see your trapping skills!! Im not a high kicker any more, more low line kicks for me but i've got to give you props on your kicking skill also. A perfect combination of hands and feet. Like 50/50
this guy is an excellent teacher !
