Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do done right before my eyes. Blown away badly. I live in Houston,Texas. If there is anyone here than can train me to be like this then please contact me. Thank You & God Bless

      Bro I trained with this guy in Brighton for few months I genuinely tried to punch him in the face at least 20 times through that period 😂😂 as he said I could ... try lol was countered and twisted up like a pretzel every time 🤷🏾‍♂️ Emil is legitimate

      @@R20-c4p That's because he has some years of practise in the bank and you don't. I'm sure the guys from the greenville academy would smoke his ass. That's practical usefull jkd.. this is movie stuff. It looks good and fast, but most punches are without sting.. just to look good and fast to lure new students.. with a dude somewhat looking like Bruce. It's marketing.

    Nice, but real fight application is nedeed here.During early ufc era many fighters from kung fu and wing chun looked nice in their opening presentation , but inside the cage they were helpless . Jkd may be effective against some street thug, but personally i wouldn't got the confidence to fight some top class muay thai fighter with this what you have demostrated, cuz its just an eye candy

    • @This_Man90
      @This_Man90 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly. Actually, when you slow down the chi-sao engagements, he's doing nothing but fancy stuff, and the only real good move is the ending move. Also, he tries too much to look like Bruce Lee, in looks and in movement. The thing with that is: i get it.. it lures in students.. but it's also very useless on the streets. It doesn't need to look good.. it needs to work.. and for that, people need to train practical.. not like this.

    I have seen many masters training like this while practicing JKD, nothing special... you are simpling applying principles of Wing Chun (or Kung Fu in general) to more direct techniques based on boxing-like footwork.... exactly what did Bruce Lee as you can see from the few videos you can find in the web... and exactly what always taught Ted Wong e.g.
    p.s. when I say boxing footwork I don't mean Ring Boxing but Street Boxing, or better War Boxing
