Bruce Lee was my kind of idol growing up. I was attracted to Wing Chun from the Chinese movies after years of practice over 40 years ago realised what I saw Bruce playing with was almost similar. On further experience I knew Bruce was a talented and very researched man. When I became an instructor myself and teaching many students I later understood Bruce felt limited in Wing Chun Kung Fu as he reached only so far in his comprehension and diversified looking at everything he could further develop his personal fighting system. Not all Wing Chun Kung Fu is the same as it depends on a persons ability. Today I stick to the classic system of Ving Tsun as I believe and know it is very adaptable and that is why it was designed that way.

Thank you for this!

@@ohanatei

very interesting, thanks to explain in a such a clear way
E = mc2で技を出すが特にわかりませんでした、、、
E = mc2は質量とエネルギーの等価性のことですね
Velocity is squared implying speed is more important than mass.
E=mc^2は エネルギー=質量x(光の速度)^2, この理論が打撃に変更すれば、打撃の力 (エネルギー) = 体重(質量) x (打撃の速さ)^2 、要するに打撃の力を増やしたいなら、体重を増やすよりも打撃の速さを増やすほうが圧倒的に効果が出るってこと。これももともとブルーズ・リーの格闘技理論の一つです。
