i love how aly gives specifical tips that are usually ignored by beauty gurus since we're usually treated by the beauty industry as if we all looked the same (and it ends up like we do if we try to mask everything that distinguishes us)
You have an incredible eye Aly! I have a fairly pronounced crooked nose and everything you said is 100% accurate, even the "working side" is so true. I've found that subtle, light contouring actually makes a huge difference for me, but heavy contouring looks pretty bad. Just a bit of shadow on the heavier side works so well.
I have a crooked nose and usually one side is more prominent than the other. This side catches more light. So in order to make it more symmetrical I only contour this side and do a little bit of concealer on the other side. So it is more even 😄 makes this sense haha? I hope so 😘
Eye makeup for Crossed eye plz.no one has taught that on net or anywhere else.onky u can teach that Like my comments readers.so Aly will b able to read it .n teach us all🥰
Hi, Aly! Can you PLEASE do a video on noses that have crooks in the middle and with the tip being straight?? My one side has a pretty noticeable indent and it makes my other side look bigger (especially the tip)!
I have a similar situation! On the left side I have a crook? I don't know, like a sharp bump. I have another one on the right but it's smaller and higher. When I turn to the right you can't see the big one because it gets lost in the nose and the silouette is more sleek and the nose overall smaller. When I turn on the left the silouette is suddenly broken by the bump that comes out lol and my nose looks sharper and longer. I probably have an asymmetrical tip as well. I don't know how much other people notice that, though
I have asymmetrical nose but the thing is it's also really wide and big i wanna slim it down as well but i guess if i do this it won't be any smaller :(
Fake lips, bright red lipstick, and super-bleached teeth all bring attention to the mouth, and the end of the nose, which is right above. In the photo of the girl with her eyes played up, you notice eyes and not nose, maybe because the eyes aren't lined up with the nose, but on either side. Incidentally, your teeth should not be bleached whiter than the whites of your eyes. If they're the same or similar, the smile brightens the eyes. If the teeth are super-white, all you see is teeth and the eyes look dull by comparison.
One of my eyes is hooder than the other and is too hard to apply makeup the same on both wat to do Mostly i feel one is deeper than other Or one of my cheeck bones is higher than other One is wider one is outer 🦭🦭🦭🦭🦭🐙
Oof I've got an extreme deviated septum that makes one side of my nose look a little collapsed, hence the nostrils are different shapes. Started making TH-cam videos but only really film myself from one side...I'm afraid to show how asymmetrical my nose is.
I wish you would write a couple of books. You explain things so much better than anyone else and you could illustrate the books too. I think you should email some influencers and try collaborate because it makes no sense to me that you aren't making more money and getting free things. You have more subscribers than many of the ones that do.
Question - when contouring a nose with a crooked tip, do you contour the lines down the nose, highlight part of the center until the bend, and then contour the whole tip like you modeled? Or do you just highlight part of the center until the bend without contouring the sides and then contour the whole tip?
I have an asymmetrical nose and jaw myself, and from my experience, frames with those little silicone nose pads work best, as you can adjust them individually, therefore making frames sit more straight on an otherwise crooked nose. Also, you can try choosing frames that don't have thick plastic on the bottom rim, as a thin, discreet wire frame on the bottom won't draw attention to the nose as much. And finally, after trying probably 50 different frames, a slight cat-eye shape worked best for me as it balanced out the rest of my face (I think that the soft, diagonal shape kind of contrasts my square-ish, angular face structure). Of course, it's all an individual preference, just thought I'd share my tips as we both seem to have similar face qualities. 🤗 Good luck and enjoy finding some awesome frames!✌🏻
You can correct a crooked nose. It's just cartilage. Apply adequate pressure on it daily for months. Our bodies are more malleable than we think: It's all about daily maintenance.

I know it's a long shot but do you have a trick to disguise a longer philtrum?
If you have an asymmetrical anything on your face, avoiding an exact center part of the hair can help alot.
I think no one has a perfectly symmetry. Must people in my opinion look bad with a center part. That what I think🤷
@@Peayou... it depends on the degree of symmetrie of course

When I look in the mirror my nose looks fine but on back camera it is crooked so idk what to do since I can’t even see it when I look in the mirror

I have an asymmetrical nose so this was really useful, thankss aly
I'm very glad! Thank you Victoria!!!
Sharp but wide nose ,, help 😙
I think contouring the nose looks odd in real life. I would rather accept it. Keep the pores clean and use matte powder.
This is amazing - it's like an art class (shadow and light)
I also find that blushing the nose works for me too!
Oh, I got to the point where you're talking about it :D

Can you make a video on makeup tips for Roman noses or noses with bumps? 💕
Embrace yourself 🤗❣❣❣
I don't have this type of nose but I'm still watching just cause is Aly ❤️
I can always tell how much work and thought you put into your videos. Thanks.
I have seen many, many people with one eye higher than the other. One famous is Shannon Dougherty.
Shannon is known as Picasso face. She even talks about it herself. Christy Turlington has a lazy-ish eye.

As someone who has crooked and roman nose because of 2 accidents thank you so much.
My "good side" is the not so long side because my nose is naturaly long, the "imperfect" side just makes it look like i have nose for days
I was waiting for this!!!! My nose is crooked and also is quite thin on the bridge and really wide on the tip. Really difficult to "fix" it.
Your videos always make me feel less insecure ❤️ thank you!
My nose was broken in my younger days! Bugs the crap out of me!
Hello Aly :) Thank you so much. Do you do online personal stylist/hair/makeup session ? I would love to know your prices so I could book mine.
Aly -where do You have all this tricks from? I think, they are from Your own head, bc. You are so skilled and talented. 👍
Yes, I'm flabbergasted how she comes up with such creative advice each time! It's a true revelation each time she gives us tips and I'm like 😱!

Could you make it for bulbous nose too? 😘 😘
Damn Aly u really doing the lord's work here .....

She made videos about that. But it's based on your face shape/body type.

there is nothing to correct about it because there is nothing incorrect about it
Maybe that will work on the cartilage part (the lower one) but not the upper part that's the bone (if that is crooked)
It would have been a much better nose video if you hadn't worn glasses.
Yes. And on top of that she applied make-up with glasses. Seems so unhygienic.
