Love eating finger foods. Except when my dad yells me for eating with hands wrong. Jumi has it down pact. That plate at tue restaurant is huge. The hard boil egg is a great touch in the presentation. I need one of Greg’s sweaters since it was -20 degree with wind chill over here.

Definitely on our list next time we are in NYC. We discovered Ethiopian food in Oakland, CA, which has plenty of Ethiopian restaurants. Really enjoyed it, the spices and sharing aspect of it. Yum!

I inquired about the bread and the server said; it takes three days to make. Seeing you eating in the traditional way, I wondered if there was a proper hand we should only be using, like in Indian tradition? Do you get the table side coffee service at the restaurant?
Wow an Ethiopian lunch buffet sounds great, and dangerous! Not sure about the proper hand for Ethiopian food, but generally we eat with the right hand when eating with hands. Unfortunately not here, but we have seen it done before at other restaurants, including one that even made coffee flavored baklava! So tasty
