    Never had food from Uzbekistan before so watching this with high levels of curiosity. I like that there are so many skewers 🤤 dunno about the balls though 😂 mmmm pistachio baklava wow I can imagine the flavors from here! Wow that oven is so coo making that crispy as stuffed breadl! Rice like that is super tasty perfect for winter. The food reminds me of what we had at an uygur restaurant in Auckland 👌😁

      @JamesandKarla 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We couldn’t agree more about the variety of skewers and don’t think we are up for lamb balls though. Greg and Jumi are courageous eaters! We have tried great pistachio baklava in Brooklyn but look forward to now visiting Rego Park!

    • @FoodandFootprints
      @FoodandFootprints  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is really tasty stuff! Love the bold spices like cumin and dill. They do an incredible job on the skewers without needing much spice. After eating spiders, balls should be easy for you. Yen may have a tough time though 😂
      Those samsa were so crispy! And the plov nice and comforting. It is quite similar to Uyghur food - lots of overlap

    Grilled meats and meat in pastry? Yes, please! And I absolutely love sweetbreads. My mother used to coat them in breadcrumbs and fry them in the pan. In fact, the only thing in this video that I would not touch was the green baklava. Sadly, I am deathly allergic to pistachios.

When we were at the moment of booking something to eat they asked dishes or salads without meet, unfortunly they had to eat bread with tea 😂😂😂. Because there were nothing without meet even salads
