I really want to see this feature become available for AI opponents as well, for when you're playing by yourself in match race mode. This is definitely neat!

I drove forward to the closest can not realizing I'd only get to choose one, I thought I was just getting to try out swapping between colors. Made me really upset when the others were removed from the room and afterward I unlocked orange which is one of my least favorite colors. Edit: well i didn't know you could find the rest in courses so that's nice? No idea in what sort of places to look or in what modes they spawn though. Are they always somewhere in every course in every mode?
i haven't played in time attack much nor online, so i don't know there, but you can get the spray cans in grand prix and match race and there's exactly one in every course. match race is good for spray can collecting since you can go in with cpus off. there's only 100 player colors, so once you've gotten 100 spray cans, they stop appearing, but there's still one location per course in the game. i'm working on a video guide for where all the spray can locations are, but i can give you a short list of early courses where they're easy to spot, if you haven't gotten them there yet: - northern district (ring cup, 2nd course) has one right at the start. if you look around at the starting line, you might find out how to get it... - panic city (ring cup, 3rd course) has a really obvious one after the first left turn - autumn ring (sneaker cup, 4th course) has a ramp that flings you up into ring capsules above a field of fallen leaves; try turning around when you hit the ground - popcorn workshop (spring cup, 1st course) has a very visible one right when you hit the section where the ground's covered in popcorn - rumble ridge (spring cup, 4th course) has one right after the long curve around the oil rig in the latter half of the course; try looking to your left as the track curves back - emerald hill (emerald cup, 1st course) has it on a ridge to the left of the starting line. can you figure out how to get up there? - azure city (emerald cup, 2nd course) has a split path near the start; take the right path and look around the hedges - sub-zero peak (extra cup, 4th course) has one right out in the open at the start of the course; getting to it should be simple enough if you look around that should be enough to get you all 9 of the starting colors in the spray can room :)

Of course, Miles, being pure, would abhor the idea, but, with... No friends, and, everyone hating him... Well, Eggman being so supportive would lead him down the path.
This type of writing makes me wish there was an rpg made by the ring racers team
2:04 man even he is anoyed by the recurring use of green hill and other hill like stages
Blaze mentioned. That's all I needed.
This is so coooool! ❤
The dialogue is my favorite part of the game.
4:30 this song slaps.
got a bit jumpscared seeing it was you who made this video lol, was just done re-organizing my cassettes when i was thinking about your album i got on cassette
omg... thank you for buying the cassette printing of my album ;u;
Eggman was probably having flashbacks to the ARC after Tails mentioned that, some thoughts about gerald most likely
There's some dialogue in the game that suggests this is an alternate timeline where Shadow didn't survive SA2
Doctor, Sonic is my PICKET FENCE
I don't quite understand why he said that but it struck me as hilarious nonetheless XD
It’s a reference to Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog
The reference also had meaning behind it. Long story short, Sonic is his family.
2:25 THAT ANGERY SPRITE
I love the mad face tails has in these lol
"Ah, the fine hue of megamalatricarbo-sonichloride."
How funny I was just looking for a video doing this exact thing yesterday
2:45 im confused. how do they know blaze if they are the classic versions of themselves?
3:29 same at here... how do they know these stuff?
the classic designs are an aesthetic choice. they don't indicate anything about the timeline of events.
@@CrappyBlue oh well.
"Just thinking about the ARK"
...
"Right."
"Yes. Of course."
I really want to see this feature become available for AI opponents as well, for when you're playing by yourself in match race mode. This is definitely neat!
I had no idea Tails and Dr. Robotnick were on a first name basis!
In seclusion, yeah. Genius recognizes genius.
...is eggman referencing the Chemical Plant "Mega-Muck" (the purple water) for his Violet quote?
I-
What-
*How does this game have so much more personality than most Modern games today?*
people who love and are passionate for Sonic characters decided to spend their free time making a game about them, with no commercial incentive to interfere with that passion
The Icons are so expressive
We'll finally know the answer to the question Sonic asked Tails in Sonic Chronicles.
At least, technically...
What question?
I love ring racers
Surprised to find you out in the wild here.
I can't believe the amount of work that went into this! You don't see racing games get this amount of attention and replayability put into- I'm sorry what did 5:47 say?
"cluckoid" is a weathervane chicken badnik from sonic & knuckles. "retire" is the term the game uses for when a racer's kart blows up.
"Lesser genius"
I mean according to Sonic Battle Tails actually has an IQ of 400 /j
what the fuck do you mean mega mack has a full chemical name
"I use this shade to paint the tornado!"
And then you unlock a little tornado that follows your racer and its default color is a different shade of red to the one you pick here.
FILTHY LIAR.
If this is Tails' first exposure to the idea of Spray Cans, would he know at first glance that there was a closer match..? :P
Eggman looks proud the chemicals are noxious
this is probably because he said "nontoxic" and not "noxious"
I guess I’ll go play the game next time I’m procrastinating!
Imma skip this tutorial so I can go back and get my main cyan spray
Quick correction (dunno who else has commented) you need to get 4th or higher to skip the tutorial with the race, not 1st.
Colorful
"Just think about ARK"
JESUS CHRIST DUDE!!!
Why does Tails' voice sound like that one Alyx pain noise from HL2?
i wonder what happened on the ARK, considering maria's alive?
So I gotta ask: What is your favorite color? Mine is Yellow.
blue, of course :3
Light Or Baby Blue 🔵
mine is green!
Apparently, hedgehog blue.
Are they always somewhere in every course in every mode?
i haven't played in time attack much nor online, so i don't know there, but you can get the spray cans in grand prix and match race and there's exactly one in every course. match race is good for spray can collecting since you can go in with cpus off. there's only 100 player colors, so once you've gotten 100 spray cans, they stop appearing, but there's still one location per course in the game.
i'm working on a video guide for where all the spray can locations are, but i can give you a short list of early courses where they're easy to spot, if you haven't gotten them there yet:
- northern district (ring cup, 2nd course) has one right at the start. if you look around at the starting line, you might find out how to get it...
- panic city (ring cup, 3rd course) has a really obvious one after the first left turn
- autumn ring (sneaker cup, 4th course) has a ramp that flings you up into ring capsules above a field of fallen leaves; try turning around when you hit the ground
- popcorn workshop (spring cup, 1st course) has a very visible one right when you hit the section where the ground's covered in popcorn
- rumble ridge (spring cup, 4th course) has one right after the long curve around the oil rig in the latter half of the course; try looking to your left as the track curves back
- emerald hill (emerald cup, 1st course) has it on a ridge to the left of the starting line. can you figure out how to get up there?
- azure city (emerald cup, 2nd course) has a split path near the start; take the right path and look around the hedges
- sub-zero peak (extra cup, 4th course) has one right out in the open at the start of the course; getting to it should be simple enough if you look around
that should be enough to get you all 9 of the starting colors in the spray can room :)
