I have the same snowblower. Would it be possible to have you take a picture of the carburetor and the springs attached? Mine will not stay started and the spring that goes from the carb to the idle control is missing and I cannot find which part it is.
I have posted a short video, let me know if it works for you. There are two springs you need. Extension spring on the left and another which is more like a linkage and is attached to the extension spring.
A nice work! I have a same model working like a charm for a decade. Now I have to clean the Carburetor given the startup problem.
