Ariens! Comparing the two best snow blowers ever made! 1971 model 10000 and the 1979 model 924042.

Sure, challenge me on this claim. Perhaps you are a Toro, Craftsman, Cub Cadet, or a Troy-Bilt fan. And yes... there are many other really cool, more powerful, farther throwing, commercial, & odd old snow blowers out there (Motomower Snow Shark, Snowbird, etc.). But these two machines are BUILT SOLID and still everywhere. Nothing seems to have the staying power and multi-generational sustainability of these two residential Ariens models going into their 40's and 50's age-wise. Here, once again, I pull out two dump rescues and push some deep snow around!!!! Let's walk around them first.

Both were in terrible shape when found abused, and the 79' was victim to an engine fire I think. Still. despite the surging you still hear...the 79' does good work with that original toasted carb ( I later replaced it....It's worth the investment)!!
