ahh copy keyframes, thats what I was doing wrong silly me. I always gave up cause it wwasn't working and I couldn't figure out why it was copying the whole timeline

Ive previously tried watching other videos to get an understanding on how to animate. because I coukdnt understand how to animate and didnt really understood what happened so i did it myself. then ended up getting stuck once i created a new file and chose japanese timeline. Did you try left clicking the box first? after that there should be a box that the lines are highlighted. I can't really help you with that since i never encountered that before. Try restarting too, it might be lagging ^^

I don't know if this is a dumb question, but I'm wondering how to turn a sketch animation into a finished, lined animation. I've been working with Krita animation for a lil bit now, but I haven't fully committed to a lined piece until now. Do I group the sketch layers together and then create new layers as well as frames? It just seems a bit confusing, but if anyone can help i'd be grateful. :)
