Hahaha I was trying to change my bulb earlier and was touching the ring on the igniter didn’t know it had 30000 volts could of been toast 😂but man I was hoping for just a simple bulb change 🤦🏽♂️
i have a328i headlight is not working on the passenger side but I have running lights on both side have headlight on driver side but not passenger side replace the whole headlight fixture and module still not getting lights on the passenger side were should I start
I have the same trouble but wires are broken just near the connector, so its difficult to repair them. You now if its possible to open the connector and put new wires? i have seen the connector has a pair of lockings but im afraid of open them. Thank you for the video.
Dude exactly what happened to me. I bought new bulbs (brighter xenons). Went to change my bulb and when i opened the housing... the black and brown wire were spliced. Only problem... i barley have any black wire to work with cut it split so close to the switch that plugs into the ignitor. One presumed to be small problem turned into a big problem. I sokdered it but still got nothing
I hit a really bad one and my right lamp went out and I discovered breakages in the wires he described but that didn't solve my problem so I'm going to have to dig deeper. But the gist is bmw used wires that were not very resistant to heat-cycling so they break inside the unit. Ah, the promise of graphene!
Donald when you low beam light do not work. you cannot have the high beam on permanently the low beam has to work in order for the high beam to work. best thing todo get a heath gun pull a part and fix all the wires or new light assembly 1500 Dollars.
River Aug not necessarily. Every circuit has capacitance. It will hold its charge for some amount of time, from microseconds to minutes, depending on the capacitance. Nevertheless, a charge without a power source probably won’t kill you because there isn’t enough energy stored in the circuit. However, it would probably hurt very bad.

good video same damb problem u saved me $2000
down here in South Florida most of the wires shred inside of the headlights, so the only thing that you can do is change the entire headlights

I have to hold my brights on with they work. If I let go they go out. The lights closet to center of hood? Any ideas
Is anything else messing up inside your car? i.e cruise control, light switch? Dos your car status diagram show anything?
push the light switch arm.. pulling is for car passing indication..
