Oh my goodness. That is so sweet. 🩷 this has made my day! I did use to be a teacher, I do miss it at times! We created a manager for baby Jesus. We wrote something we were thankful for on each piece of "straw" aka paper. I didn't look back at the video to be sure lol but I'm pretty sure that's what we were doing. Every day we added another piece of "straw" to the manager.
My Mom-in-love gave me a great perspective on why Peter started to sink in the water when he was walking towards Jesus. Peter took his eyes off Jesus! I’m trying to keep my eyes on Him this year.
I truly appreciated this video. This is something I have deeply struggled with and still am. It gave me encouragement and conviction to further my trudt and purging of idols to keep me from Him. So praise God he has allowed you to share this because I felt the Lord directly lead me to this.
I’m new to your channel. Was doing my usual scroll through TH-cam and this video popped up. Your words, your prayer spoke to me. In 2018 I went through a series of deeply traumatic events. No one in my circle could connect or relate to what had happened, which left me feeling even more isolated and alone. I thought God was harshly punishing me for sins of my past. My faith was shaken. But I knew I would either have to trust what He said in His word or trust what my emotions were telling me. I decided to trust what He said and let Him put the pieces of my shattered life back together. Your message in this video speaks to that place. When everything is broken. Every memory. Every relationship is impacted by trauma. God healed me. He even lifted the trauma and the excruciating emotional pain. He healed broken relationships, healed finances and created a future that was beyond my dreams. He really is good. He does his best work when we are broken and surrendered. Your message is so important. Thank you for your vulnerability. I pray that you experience the release of pain and trauma by abiding in Him. What an encouragement you are! He really is our strong tower.

The Lord has said "No" to so many things I thought I desperately wanted. I got to this afternoon feeling completely and utterly inadequate as a wife, mother, daughter, writer. I cannot do anything about the situation. We are waiting for a home. I heard the Lord say, "I need you available to follow through with the work I have for you in the future." I don't know how much longer the waiting will be. I feel so close to breaking. Hope is so hard. I know the Truth. I know He will never leave or forsake me. I know His power is made perfect in my weakness. Thank you for this eternal perspective. Thank you for speaking encouragement and life to this weary soul of mine. (Proverbs 11:25)
Amen! Our family word for the year is Faith (over fear). Trust has been a journey for me also and I see the similarities in both of our lives. I had 4 kids very close together also. I remember also clinging to scripture to help me through those challenging times and the anxieties that would come up. And some insecurties from past pain that needed healing. Now, my kids are just about all teenagers and those were the easy years when they were so small. I have new challenges and my God is still faithful. He will bring me through this too. I am so glad you are meditating on truth. Your kids will see the peace and joy that comes with believing God. This will create an atmosphere where they will thrive. Keep hanging on. I had struggled in 2023 with my faith and my relationship with God. I listened to this working on homeschool and I realized He has never left me despite not leaning on Him when I should've. I pray I can get my faith deep again and start leaning on Him more. Proverbs 1:24 is the Bible verse I was working on for my kids to study. Take care and have a blessed day ❤

Oh Kelsey, these are some incredibly moving words full of love from God through you. ❤ Truly amazing. He works in such mysterious ways that we cannot understand, but must trust in Him because there’s always a reason behind it. I’ve always believed that everything happens for a reason we may not know about till much later. We are all on this incredible and beautiful and hard journey called life. There are so many wonderful things in life, I think He wants us to focus on the positive and not dwell in the negative that causes pain. Yes we might be in the pain for a bit to learn and grow ourselves so that we can enjoy all the good and beautiful things He sends our way afterwards ❤

I’m sorry that you have been going through this dark valley. Thank you for being vulnerable and honestly sharing from your heart. This is desperately needed and will help many, many women who are deep in their own valleys with the Lord. I have learned to be still and recognize His quiet voice. I put a note in my phone right away with the date and what He has said. I can look back at it and be reminded of His truthful word to me. He gives me His peace. Not necessarily a resolve in the problem but much comfort and peace from His Presence. I love it when He calls me,”Daughter” ❤️ Often for me it usually comes down to- “Do you trust me? Am I enough?”

I hope you had a merry Christmas and I want to wish you and your family a belated happy new year!🥰🙏 We started our year with a horrible flu, but thank God, both my husband and I are now doing better and today is the first day in many that I came to TH-cam. Whatever happened that you mention on the video, I pray it is solved or if it isn't still, that God may bless you in everything you need Him to answer you.🙏 In Jeremiah 1:5 God says “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you", so He Is ALWAYS with you and no matter how hard someone or something wants to make you believe otherwise, His Word is ALWAYS true. Your life is not wasted in anything you do, because you do everything to Him and His Glory. Unfortunatelly I didn't have a very normal childhood and was mistreated both verbally and phisically many times, by those that were supposed to protect me. So at one time, it was hard for me to believe that sooner or later, people wouldn't disapoint me and I either would do everything to please them, so they wouldn't go away or I would walk away first from friendships or family, because I didn't want them to break my heart. It was hard to change and sometimes I still need to be reminded by God that He is ALWAYS with me and that He will never leave me. That He put a wonderful husband in my life and that althought he is human and thus, isn't perfect, He is a Godly man and will be with me until the day God decides to take one of us Home. I wish I could give you a giant hug rigt now, but even if I can't do it physically because of the distance, I'm sending you a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge hug right now, friend! Did you get it?❤ I hope so!😊 Sometimes it's hard to trust, because we can't see God with our physical eyes, but we know in our hearts that He is with us and that He will do what is best for us spiritually, like you said; for our salvation, but He Is also a Father and He only wants what is best for us. In Luke 10:40-42, says "But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!” “Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed-or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” WOW! This can be compared to our lives today, can't it? We are always so worried about our day to day lives, and I don't say this in a bad way. No. It can be in a good way, like taking care of our families, our homes, paying bills, thinking about what to do for lunch or dinner, school, work... Or it can be because of health issues, fights in the family, unemployment, money issues, other people wanting to tell us how they think we should live our lives, etc... It can be about valid things, but in the midst of all this, many times we don't pause and think about seating at the feet of Jesus and just listen to what He has to say. Or we only do that when we have problems, instead of being like Mary and doing it spontaneously, even when everything seems to be calm and going well in our lives. I say this and I do the same thing over and over again. But God... But God is ALWAYS there, isn't He? And He will never disappoint us and He will never leave us, so I pray that God may comfort your heart and hug it in an eternal and warm hug, like only He can do.🫂 I'll end for now, or TH-cam may fine me for making extra long comments!😅 Just wanted to finish by saying that one of my goals for this year is to dress more feminine and you and your beautiful and modest dresses are an inspiration to me. Thank you so much for testimony... 3 years ago my.children and I went through a horrible time... since then many bad and intentional things have happened and we have been left wondering if God is still there if he even still cares... We have been in a situation where we want to move can't... we are finding it hard to be content... neighbors have made things hard for us. Want to believe but it's been 3 years with no answer and no relief.
Keep the faith. Every hard day, every struggle is a trial to strengthen your trust and faith. I will be praying for you! ❤️ It's hard to feel like He cares when changes don't happen. His timing is everything. May God bless your family and help you through your hard times.

I am really glad I found this channel recently! This is a great video. What you say is so true, some of the hardest storms I have weathered have healed my woundedness and brought me so much closer to God and so much deepened my faith. Especially going through the cancer death of my dad, some scary times with my daughter and my husband I am truly able to detach now in the way the Lord calls us to. Hard to explain but it's so true! Cancer and death isn't good but He brings so much good from ALL things!! 🙌

Amen, Thank you for sharing and allowing vulnerability to shine through, we do relate as well...I'm needing to stop and ask the Lord "Lord, what lie am I believing rn?" as that is something he's convicted me to ask him, and that has been a game changer, I, then, am open to hear his truth and destroy and cancel all lies of the enemy!! The direction for Praise and Worship has been specifically given to me to press into this season, 2024 is bringing forth huge divine promises from the Lord that have been given to me years ago so I can't get in the way, and def do Not want to!!!

Don't forget you're setting an example for her. When she sees you reading the Bible, it impacts her more than you know. Even bringing her next to you, or reading aloud can provide her comfort while still being able to read. If there isn't a "real need" at the time, just keep reading! No guilt 🙃 (easier said than done). I wake up early before my children so I can read uninterrupted. Don't feel bad reading with her around. You're doing great things! 🥰

Oh Kelsey, these are some incredibly moving words full of love from God through you. ❤ Truly amazing. He works in such mysterious ways that we cannot understand, but must trust in Him because there’s always a reason behind it. I’ve always believed that everything happens for a reason we may not know about till much later. We are all on this incredible and beautiful and hard journey called life. There are so many wonderful things in life, I think He wants us to focus on the positive and not dwell in the negative that causes pain. Yes we might be in the pain for a bit to learn and grow ourselves so that we can enjoy all the good and beautiful things He sends our way afterwards ❤

I have learned to be still and recognize His quiet voice. I put a note in my phone right away with the date and what He has said. I can look back at it and be reminded of His truthful word to me. He gives me His peace.
Not necessarily a resolve in the problem but much comfort and peace from His Presence.

I hope you had a merry Christmas and I want to wish you and your family a belated happy new year!🥰🙏 We started our year with a horrible flu, but thank God, both my husband and I are now doing better and today is the first day in many that I came to TH-cam.
Whatever happened that you mention on the video, I pray it is solved or if it isn't still, that God may bless you in everything you need Him to answer you.🙏 In Jeremiah 1:5 God says “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you", so He Is ALWAYS with you and no matter how hard someone or something wants to make you believe otherwise, His Word is ALWAYS true. Your life is not wasted in anything you do, because you do everything to Him and His Glory.
Unfortunatelly I didn't have a very normal childhood and was mistreated both verbally and phisically many times, by those that were supposed to protect me. So at one time, it was hard for me to believe that sooner or later, people wouldn't disapoint me and I either would do everything to please them, so they wouldn't go away or I would walk away first from friendships or family, because I didn't want them to break my heart.
It was hard to change and sometimes I still need to be reminded by God that He is ALWAYS with me and that He will never leave me. That He put a wonderful husband in my life and that althought he is human and thus, isn't perfect, He is a Godly man and will be with me until the day God decides to take one of us Home.
I wish I could give you a giant hug rigt now, but even if I can't do it physically because of the distance, I'm sending you a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge hug right now, friend!

Sometimes it's hard to trust, because we can't see God with our physical eyes, but we know in our hearts that He is with us and that He will do what is best for us spiritually, like you said; for our salvation, but He Is also a Father and He only wants what is best for us.
In Luke 10:40-42, says "But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed-or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
WOW! This can be compared to our lives today, can't it? We are always so worried about our day to day lives, and I don't say this in a bad way. No.
It can be in a good way, like taking care of our families, our homes, paying bills, thinking about what to do for lunch or dinner, school, work... Or it can be because of health issues, fights in the family, unemployment, money issues, other people wanting to tell us how they think we should live our lives, etc... It can be about valid things, but in the midst of all this, many times we don't pause and think about seating at the feet of Jesus and just listen to what He has to say.
Or we only do that when we have problems, instead of being like Mary and doing it spontaneously, even when everything seems to be calm and going well in our lives. I say this and I do the same thing over and over again. But God...
But God is ALWAYS there, isn't He? And He will never disappoint us and He will never leave us, so I pray that God may comfort your heart and hug it in an eternal and warm hug, like only He can do.🫂
I'll end for now, or TH-cam may fine me for making extra long comments!😅 Just wanted to finish by saying that one of my goals for this year is to dress more feminine and you and your beautiful and modest dresses are an inspiration to me. And that your kids look so cute, "helping" you wrap their baby brother's gift, wich turnout very pretty with the dried orange and the green ribbon.🥰

Thank you so much for testimony... 3 years ago my.children and I went through a horrible time... since then many bad and intentional things have happened and we have been left wondering if God is still there if he even still cares... We have been in a situation where we want to move can't... we are finding it hard to be content... neighbors have made things hard for us. Want to believe but it's been 3 years with no answer and no relief.
Keep the faith. Every hard day, every struggle is a trial to strengthen your trust and faith. I will be praying for you! ❤️ It's hard to feel like He cares when changes don't happen. His timing is everything. May God bless your family and help you through your hard times.

I am really glad I found this channel recently! This is a great video. What you say is so true, some of the hardest storms I have weathered have healed my woundedness and brought me so much closer to God and so much deepened my faith. Especially going through the cancer death of my dad, some scary times with my daughter and my husband I am truly able to detach now in the way the Lord calls us to. Hard to explain but it's so true! Cancer and death isn't good but He brings so much good from ALL things!! 🙌

Amen, Thank you for sharing and allowing vulnerability to shine through, we do relate as well...I'm needing to stop and ask the Lord "Lord, what lie am I believing rn?" as that is something he's convicted me to ask him, and that has been a game changer, I, then, am open to hear his truth and destroy and cancel all lies of the enemy!! The direction for Praise and Worship has been specifically given to me to press into this season, 2024 is bringing forth huge divine promises from the Lord that have been given to me years ago so I can't get in the way, and def do Not want to!!!

Thank you for another cozy video and really deep thoughts. I am struggling with the guilt, when my daughter is around and I want to read my Bible. It feels like she needs me more than I need reading at the moment. Any ideas how to stop feeling guilty about that? 🥺
Don't forget you're setting an example for her. When she sees you reading the Bible, it impacts her more than you know. Even bringing her next to you, or reading aloud can provide her comfort while still being able to read. If there isn't a "real need" at the time, just keep reading! No guilt 🙃 (easier said than done). I wake up early before my children so I can read uninterrupted. Don't feel bad reading with her around. You're doing great things! 🥰
