Jade Cocoon is my favorite game of all time, a real hidden gem on PS1, Imagine a full 3D Pokemon game, with most lines voice acted, character designs and cut scenes done by folks from Studio Ghibli, an awesome soundtrack and the ability to merge your minions together to create a hybrid of both with a mix of skills, magic, elemental alignment, stats and most importantly appearance from both minions... you can even merge your already merged minions and when you get to the post-game you can farm for some cool unique skins to use in your minion merges!
The game also has a surprinsingly dark and somber story. I actually felt kinda bad at the end playing this as a kid, but yeah, great game and it came totally out of nowhere. Shame that the sequel for PS2 was so awful.
3:40 I have both "*Ray storm*" and "*Ray crisis*" games and he's correct, that's one if the best shooters next to "*Einhander*" I also had... Ghost in the Shell Pocket fighter

I always liked Virtua Cop 2 more than Time Crisis, mainly for the setting and atmosphere. I felt a bit powerless playing Time Crisis as it demanded amazing reaction time and skill. You have my respect for beating it using just 1 credit.

What makes it a hidden gem was the extra game type on the disk. So to anyone who said pass they missed it.. hope that clears up my view on that :) In 2 week I have another Top Ten it will be a must watch.
What's crazy but cool, is so many of these games are dirt cheap. I was worried that after the speculators bottomed out Nintendo, that PlayStation would be next, but it didn't happen.

The four shape face buttons of a digital or troublesome thumbstick DualShock controller also serve the same function. Enjoy! Oh yeah... Omega Boost!!
The last one was cute to say the least but you seem to have forgotten about granstream saga ps1 video game Wich is also a lost and forgotten gem of a game itself it was fun and challenging to the mind i was lucky enough to find a copy of the game itself so I can enjoy it once again so let's not forget the lost great game's themselves 🤔😉💡
The jokes aren't ripped out of monty python. They are straight from the discworld book series. This game literally had the author Terry Pratchet working with the team
Great list, but I have to disagree with Pandemonium 2. I think it's a far less polished and disjointed experience than the first, which I like quite a lot. A lot of the later levels are unfairly difficult for all the wrong reasons, like the screen being polluted and the camera focusing so damn close on your character that you can barely see the dangers coming at you. Also the art direction is a complete attack on the senses, many of the stages look and feel like a bad trip of acid or shrooms. I just quit at the last world because I was getting headaches.

I remember only 1st level because i did never past through it :P So basically I only remember the 1st level starts when your squad arrived in elevator they jump off the elevator (that was in some high building maybe hotel or some sort of scyscraper because i remember there was a more floors and ofc u couldnt reach some of them because of barricades etc, maybe fire etc...) after your squad arrived they were talking to transmitter with each others or some kind of operator of the mission ... maybe they was wearing some kind of silver uniform or something like that.. something gray.. this squad was like police or army and u was there against some kind of terrorists or psycho enemies :D ah i wish i could know more about it but..thats all.. maybe someone would know about this game.. TY guys.
